shirasagi kyoto (京宿しらさぎ）

We spent 14 days traveling in Kansai and this is by far our favourite accommodation. The place was furnished with a lot of care and love. Everything was very thoughtful including the lights, floor heating and bathroom facilities. They even provided a very good hairdryer. The inn came with a washer and dryer which made it convenient. The view was excellent at the top floor and we enjoyed having hotpot at the dining area. It was a 20mins walk to Kyoto station which was fine with us as our kids are teenagers and the weather was cool.

Truly one of the most amazing places we have stayed. Came and stayed here with my daughter in 2019 and loved it so much that I HAD to come back in January with my wife and son. Great location with great views of river and also of kyomizu deru. The house it self is such a delight. A beautiful living space on top with a lovely and cozy seating area with the views. Fully equipped kitchen and even a table. Two bedrooms downstairs and a large bathroom area with a shower bath and washing machine.there is also a dryer at the very back. Seperate wc that is convenient when the bathroom is needed. The entire ground floor has underfloor heating which a luxury in the cold January weather. Also the customer contact and relation is truly outstanding. Same lovely and kind lady both times helped us with the booking and check in procedure. Bless her she also kept in touch during our stay to check if there was any help we needed and also made sure to remind us to turn the heating up and dress warmly when we went out as there was a very cold weather snap when we were there. So very kind and thoughtful. The whole family now dreams of the next time we can travel back to Kyoto and stay here again.

鴨川沿いの静かな場所。 寝室2部屋に鴨川が窓の外に広がるリビングルーム。5人まで泊まれるそうです。 リビングルームの大きな窓は鴨川べりを散歩してる人からは中が見えるので服装にはご注意を笑笑 清水寺、京都駅までは徒歩圏内20分ちょっとかな？散歩がてら歩くにはちょうど良い。 近くに食料品を売っている24時間スーパー、コンビニもあるので便利です。また、サウナのある風呂屋も近くにあります。 滞在中、とても快適に過ごせました。時間が許すなら1週間くらい滞在したいです。

旅行に行った際に利用させていただきました。鴨川の景色が素晴らしく夜は窓がライトアップされとても風情がありました。宿の方もとても丁寧で気遣い溢れた対応をして下さり心温かくとてもリラックスできて最高の旅行になりました。 とても心地よい空間です！！

とっても気持ちいい宿ですよ。家族4人で二泊しました。鴨川の朝散歩気持ち良かったな〜 追記　駐車場までの道は少し狭いですが、バックでスムーズに入れました。駐車スペースも横に余裕があるので、ハイエースのワイド車位までは十分大丈夫と思います👌

鴨川が一望出来る2階のダイニングリビングで鍋とお酒で過ごす一時は最高です。 清潔。 女将さんが客想いな宿で、チェックイン時には琴体験もできる。
