We went on Sunday March 9th and yes it was very busy. But it was fun chatting with people from other countries and taking in the spectacular views of English harbour. Probably one of the most picturesque places we've ever watched a sunset. The steel drum band playing was great and seeing a reggae band live for the first time was memorable. Certainly a sight to see when in Antigua

I'm so glad I got to experience this view with my own eyes. It is by far the best view on the island the food the steel band the reggae singing and the rum punch all excellent.

If you go to Nelson's Dockyard, you must stop off here first to get great views and photos of the dockyard from a high point. There are some shops up here and a museum worth visiting. The area covered by the heights is quite large, but tour vans will surely take you to the 2 or 3 main areas. The island you will see on he horizon is 'Montserrat.' Because there are 3 sites called ' Shirley Heights' I have put this review and pictures on all of them. Enjoy the heights, then Nelson's Dockyard.

Sunday night for the sunset and steel band is great. It is busy but we found a spot to perch on the wall with a great view of the sunset and the harbour.

Great place but too busy. Great bands. Big Queue for drinks. Even bigger queue for food. Pay 10usd pp for entry then long queues is not good service. Couldn’t face the food queue, so we ate in town. Sad.

The jerk chicken is the best chicken I have had in years. The amount of flavor and juices was superb. I will miss this place.
