We visited here on 4. May in the evening and enjoyed our dinner so much. The staff is very gentle, polite and friendly. Especially when we asked if we could buy the delicious chocolate which is served after dinner downstairs. It was so surprising that we got more five cubes when we were leaving!! ❤️ Thank you everyone !

I've been here multiple times and finally decided to leave a review. Most recently, I was here for lunch. We ordered a lunch set menu that was excellent value - for approximately ¥5,000, you get a soup of the day, croquette, fish, hayashi rice, and dessert. Their cold consomme is so delicious and unique that I ordered it a la carte on top of my lunch set. Croquette always perfectly crispy on the outside and delicate on the inside. Excellent flavor. A bunch of reviewers have expressed disappointment over their omurice - I agree that it's not the best. However, Shiseido Parlour's hayashi rice and curry rice are where it's really at. They whip up a perfect demi-glace sauce base that's an umami bomb. So good. Reservations are highly recommended, even on weekdays. It's a popular spot and you'd be faced with a long wait and potential disappointment if you just walk in. Decor is definitely not to everybody's taste. Dated? No, the place feels newly renovated. You just have to accept that it's a shoujo palace targeting Japanese aunties (should be obvious from their website copy LOL.) Every time we've been there, the place was always packed with housewives and old ladies having a great time. We love it.

This cafe is definitely worth the visit albeit the higher pricing as the dessert and atmosphere are really good. The cafe itself is really beautiful and there is 2 floor in total with the 1st floor selling beautiful cakes and biscuits and the 2nd floor cafe. The most delicious dessert here is definitely their Strawberry Parfait and it's definitely worth the price tag as it's really delicious. Do visit their toilet here in the cafe as its very advance!!

Arrived a weekday 12.30. The earliest time available was 14.00, so we booked and went to the café one stair below while waiting. The interior was in gold/beige and looked a bit outdated. Service charge of 10%. I enjoyed my omelet that was filled with chicken and rice and served with creamy tomato sauce. It was generally soft and creamy. The beef curry was seasoned very differently than Golden Curry I'm used to - it had more sharper seasoning. Generally pleasant, but none of the dishes were super remarkable.

Great service , and just tranquil relaxing place to be at for our first lunch visit here. Had the lunch set followed by their signature strawberry parfait and added on the shortcake to try. Nice way to end off our last day in Tokyo. It’s also great for solo travellers.

The ice cream looks green but doesn't taste like a green tea. I love the atmosphere as you feel you are sitting in a luxury cafe in Ginza. In the entrance they didn't even show us the menu and immediately gave us a bill that forces us to go upstairs and order!

Ordered set lunch at ¥75,000. Coffee was acidic, appetizer fois gras was mediocre. Sauce was too heavy. The cold Corn cream soup was great. Smooth and flavourful. Lamb chop was tough. The crust of the dessert soaked in the sauce. Not a very good combination.

The name may make u think this is a beauty salon, but it actually isn't. This place has history and oozing old-world charm. Customers are mostly locals and are mostly elderly. For many of them, this place probably brings back fond memories of their younger days. You can just walk in. They prefer you booked ahead, but come here early, say before noon (they open at 11:30am), you'll most likely get a seat and have lunch. This review refers to the restaurant on the 4th floor. That's where the old-world charm is at its best. Waiters are very well trained and refined like a 5 star restaurant. Food is middle to slightly high price. Their curries are legendary, so we tried them. It didn't disappoint, rich in flavor but medium to mild, meat are so tender, comes with rice and condiments. Also, this is one of the very few places in Japan, where we actually had our bills at the table, not at the cashier as most do. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. When it's about 12:30pm, already a long queue was forming, it goes to show how popular this place really is.

Yelp
Quite a long wait! We walked in Tuesday noon and were told to come back in 20-40 mins. Fortunately there's no shortage of things to do in this area. By the time we browsed only two shops, it was time to eat. Staff are courteous and very well-trained for fine dining. Dishes are served at a very leisurely pace. Reminiscent of English high tea. We observed various groups of older women gossiping away-- an ideal catch-up spot, it seems. FRIED SHRIMP SANDWICH: Quite light, fried delicately. There's a bit of sauce (tartar sauce?) to cut the fat. The finger sandwich size is actually pretty filling. EUROPEAN PEAR "LA FRANCE" MAPLE PARFAIT: Very pretty to look at. The fruit is juicy & super fresh, goes well with the sweet cream. The maple at the bottom is very rich. STRAWBERRY & EUROPEAN PEAR FRUIT SANDWICHES: This is the best fruit sandwich I had all trip LOL. Especially the pear-- SO ripe and sweet, on a light, fluffy croissant. Obviously, the strawberry was good, too. The food and service is high quality, but I think there are more luxurious pastries and experiences for similar price elsewhere in Ginza. NOTE: Definitely read up on the Shiseido Parlour background before you visit! I'm a Shiseido skincare lover and didn't know about this. If I had known that they started from a humble pharmaceutical company in the 1870s, which later branched into the food & cosmetics spaces, I think I would have appreciated its historical value much more.

Yelp
Salon de Shiseido.. Who knows Shiseido now has her own parlours, cafés and restaurants ? After shopping at Shiseido The Ginza located in the next building, we popped in here and took an elevator up to the Salon de Shiseido. It is a little formal and a very classy restaurant. Originally we just wanted to find a place to have some cold beverages due to the intense heat. I thought this just going to be a cafe like the Parlour de Shiseido we went days ago near Daimaru. The staff gave us a menu and we decided to just get some green tea ice cream. So this review will just going to be based on the ice cream, service, decor and ambience. Everything hit the right note, definitely my kind of place. I wish they have more variety of cakes and tea. This place reminded me of this cafe named Antoinette (my favorite cafe in Singapore). Everything is pretty, classy and elegant. Price a tad on the high side, but it is definitely a place to chill and relax.

Yelp
Not quite sure if I enjoyed the space and the decor. Enjoyed the service more than anything. The cake set was delicious, but it was not the best patisserie I ever had. The wait line was about 20 minutes. Would rather try another tea house than wait 20 minutes or go to tsubakiya. Think Paris has better patisserie than what the store offers.

Yelp
Looking for dessert in the area, my 2 friends and I decided to come here. The first floor is the cafe shop where you can buy goods to take out. The cafe is upstairs where you have to take the elevator. The venue here is pretty big and mostly full but we were able to get a table. I had wanted to get the Rose and strawberry Milfeuille, but when I gave my order, the waitress said they were sold out of it. It would have been better if they had made a note on what they had available, and not have to decide in a a split second what I wanted otherwise. Since the waitress was impatient, I decided to get the cheesecake. Overall it was good. It came out nice and warm, but felt it was a bit too sweet the more I ate it.

Yelp
Shiseido is known throughout the world for cosmetic products, but who knew about the sweets. Shisedo Parlour is a building of sweet goodness. The first level is the store selling chocolates and all kind of desserts. The upper levels are the restaurants, and we went up to the third floor to the cafe for our afternoon snack. The wait wasn't too long. It was 30 minutes or so, but it got pretty crowded in the waiting area with so many people. I love the environment. It reminded me of English tea at the Peninsula. I got pretty confused by the menu at first, because I couldn't find any of the cakes other people were enjoying. It turned out to be the combo set, and they carried out the showcase for your selection. I was happy with my choice, and the cakes were quite good. The presentation, flavor, and sweetness really came together. It was hard for me to rate this place, because I was looking at it in relative terms. There are so many high caliber establishments in the Ginza area like Laudree Salon and Dalloyau. In the end, Shiseido Parlour stands side by side with some of the world famous from France.

Yelp
What a wonderful place to visit when in Ginza Japan. Salon de Cafe is a soda fountain type of parlor. On the first floor you can buy strawberry cheesecake sold exclusively for Shiseido. The building has different floors with bars, restaurants , and parlors.

Yelp
Beware last order is at 830 though the place closes at 9. And you have to be seated before 830.
