Shish Shawerma Corniche

Shish Shawerma is a must for me anytime I am in Abu Dhabi. One of my favorite places to eat a snack type lunch. I usually buy two chicken shawerma sandwiches with the pita bread. I am never disappointed. The sandwich includes tender chicken pieces, pickles, and French fries. The best part for me is the garlic sauce which gives it a strong kick of flavor. Beware though, the garlic will have your breath carrying a very heavy garlic smell for hours. So if you have any meetings or you will be talking to other people, make sure you can brush your teeth a few times and chew gum and a mint and mouthwash. The two sandwiches are plenty to eat. I have to be hungry to eat two complete sandwiches. The price is good for the amount of food you receive. In US Dollars the cost for two is about $6. In dirhams the cost is AED 22. I highly recommend you go get some when in Abu Dhabi.

Hands down the best shawarma in the UAE! The flavors are unbeatable — especially the Mexican sauce, it’s out of this world. Highly recommend ordering a small Arabic bread meat shawarma, and don’t miss trying their special bread for the Mexican chicken shawarma. Absolutely worth it every time!

I was really disappointed with my recent visit to this branch. The food was just okay and definitely not what I expected. The sandwich was overloaded with sauce, and the chicken one was extremely oily—so much that it lost its shape and the box was full of oil. What concerned me the most was the grill. It didn’t seem to be cleaned properly, and small black pieces (not sure what they were) came off with every bite. This really ruined the experience. Overall, the quality and hygiene were far below expectations. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves the food preparation and cleanliness.

And oh, how can I forget the Fattoush! Fab! Just fab! Came here with my Shawarma Ally , and I decided for Saj Shawarma Chicken and also Beef. I have to say the taste of both were very good. The chicken might be a notch ahead but I enjoyed the beef too as the taste of the meat was really nice and Tahina didn't take over too much. I can recommend to try this outlet, it was fairly busy but Service managed well and wait time was ok. Precise rated I give this place 4.6/5

I was really disappointed with the shawarma I had, the chicken was dried and burned!!!it looked black and the smell was very bad!! I don’t recommend !!!

Very good shawarma place located in Al Bateen road where there are a lot of restaurants « Trottoir » it was very good, one can have shawarma with kaak, with arabic bread, with Saj bread, with there freshly baked bread… Recommended to try. Thank you Ramadan for your very good and welcoming service
