Shiv Niwas Palace

Staying at City Palace – Shiv Niwas is always an experience close to my heart. Right from the moment I check in till the time I leave, every detail makes me feel so special. The food is truly awesome, but what makes it even more memorable is the people. The entire staff carries such humility and warmth that it feels like being cared for by family. At the restaurant, Lalu Ram, Sohan, Kuldeep, Pratap, and Phinda welcome me with so much genuine affection every single time—it touches me deeply. This warmth is the reason I keep coming back, again and again. Shiv Niwas is not just a place to stay, it’s a feeling I always cherish.

Great food and even better staff. We ordered chicken, mutton, fish, and almost all desserts. Loved the recommendations and how they provided for our group of 8. ||Ram Singh and Sohan Lal were exceptional with their service and deserve the best!

Room was not even according to a 3 star hotel standard. They do not provide much facilities for guests. Not very professional compared to other big hotel chains. No exclusive boat rides or other complimentary facilities that you expect after paying so much money and staying in such hotels. Better to book some Taj property

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Shiv Niwas Palace – the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant, located within the City Fort, is stunningly beautiful. A special thank you goes to the service team (Ram Singh and Kulig Singh), who were exceptionally professional and attentive.

Food was really awesome and service was amazing. our host Mr. Lalu Ram Ji was a decent man and very generous person. Even our kid got special treatment. It was very good experience to dine in there

Paantya is a lovely restaurant with great food options and taste. Ms Ranjana took very good care of us. Desserts, beverages, appetisers, main course, everything was nice.

Feel like royalty when staying at this palace which is a part of the king’s mahal and is managed by his team. The suites are beautiful and the view is amazing. U can get a taste of history
