Shivalik Valley Resorts

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Shivalik Valley Resort, Kedarnath. The location is breathtaking, surrounded by majestic mountains and offering serene views that make the entire experience unforgettable. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, giving both comfort and warmth after long treks. The staff went above and beyond with their hospitality—always polite, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Food was delicious, freshly prepared, and served hot, which felt like a blessing in the cold weather. The overall atmosphere of the resort is peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax and recharge before or after visiting the Kedarnath temple. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Kedarnath. A truly memorable experience—will definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Location is good , nothing else. For its price , we should get 3 star facility. I am aware this is a remote location but other hotels in this price has at least good bathroom /toilet. We don't need safe or fridge or automatic Ac in room but at least bathroom should be clean.

Nice Hotel. Boys servicing in Restaurant are very courteous and always smiling. Food is tasty. Restaurant ambience is Good. Enjoyed Cup of tea with Scenic view of Valley. IMPROVEMENT Suggested Guests staying some times need Tea during Lunch or Dinner. That should be offered on request. One of friends did not take Dinner due to sickness She asked for Black Tea. They charged 42 Rs for that. Money is not a problem for but the attitude is hurting. This shows management is not Sensible but rigid. Housekeeping at rooms can be improved. We expect moneral water bottles and kettle for the Hotel standard.

I have been here 5 times now. The staff are friendly, easy accessible and the best hotel in Sitapur. They are very accommodating and the food selection is good. They help arrange taxi in the event a guest request for one.

An oasis in the middle of the chaos. The rooms were quite clean. Of course it’s a slightly old property, well maintained. The food was really delicious and service top notch. Asked for a taxi to Rishikesh and it was arranged without any hassle at a very good price. Thanks to the hotel people.

I had a very positive experience with Shaitan Singh. He is extremely responsible, especially when handling tourists’ passports, and always makes sure they are safely returned to their owners. Even when managing a large number of tourists, he remains calm, organized, and ensures everything is handled smoothly. His professionalism and care truly stand out. Highly recommend his service!

We have stayed with all our family members total 80-100 guests on a family wedding and loved the hospitality of this hotel and all our friends and family had a great time here. The staff / Manager was excellent and cooperative and the food was good too. The view from the rooms was spectacular and the rooms are very well done up with proper cleaning and hygiene will surely visit again.

I came from Nepal for the Char Dham Yatra, and my stay at Shivalik Valley Resort, Sonprayag was truly wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I received a warm welcome from the resort staff. The check-in process was smooth and quick. My room was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The location of the resort is ideal, especially for those planning to visit Kedarnath — it’s very convenient and accessible. The food served at the resort was delicious, especially the pure vegetarian meals, which reminded me of home. The restaurant staff were attentive and made sure every meal was served fresh and on time. What I appreciated the most was the hospitality, cleanliness, and the peaceful atmosphere. A special thanks to the entire team for making my journey so pleasant and memorable. If you are planning the Char Dham Yatra, I highly recommend staying at Shivalik Valley Resort in Sonprayag. I would definitely love to stay here again on my next visit. 🙏
