Overall Feedback: The overall experience was average. The room was compact but manageable, though cleanliness and maintenance could be much better. Basic amenities like proper toiletries, Wi-Fi, and hot water during power cuts were missing. The food was okay — the breakfast buffet was reasonably priced but lacked completeness since essentials like water, curd, and toast were charged separately. With better upkeep and attention to guest comfort, the stay experience could be significantly improved.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Shivalik Valley Resort, Kedarnath. The location is breathtaking, surrounded by majestic mountains and offering serene views that make the entire experience unforgettable. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, giving both comfort and warmth after long treks. The staff went above and beyond with their hospitality—always polite, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Food was delicious, freshly prepared, and served hot, which felt like a blessing in the cold weather. The overall atmosphere of the resort is peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax and recharge before or after visiting the Kedarnath temple. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Kedarnath. A truly memorable experience—will definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Pros: 1. The hotel has spacious rooms. 2. Bathroom has bigger racks to dry multiple towels. 3. Since the hotel is located close to Hindu spiritual place, the hotel has Pure Veg kitchen which is good. 4. The hotel has good mountain view. 5. Since each room has separate (individual) geyser fitted in bathrooms, it becomes easier for the guests to use warm water whenever they want. Cons: 1. If you get room no. 409 of new building, then you will have to tolerate 'Thud' sound every now and then from outside, which scares and awakes you from the sleep. This happens because of the automatic door closing of common passage which is located very close to room no. 409. 2. The wash basin tap water spills backside of wash basin. 3. The water sprinkles outside the commode when you flush. 6. Heavy weight blankets are given which do not allow you to go on a sound sleep. Since the rooms are provided with AC, a thin or light weight blankets should have been provided. 7. Floors of this hotel are confusing. Even the hotel staff themselves get confused on this aspect. 8. Urine stink in rooms when you freshly check-in. 9. The hotel is overpriced considering the above disadvantages.

We were here at Shivalik resort for a family wedding. Overall experience was good. Liked the service, food, decor etc. Only problem we faced was coordination at the initial stage at time of bookings. The person we were coordinating was no longer working here. Due to which we had to face lot of problems that included finance, money.

Nice Hotel. Boys servicing in Restaurant are very courteous and always smiling. Food is tasty. Restaurant ambience is Good. Enjoyed Cup of tea with Scenic view of Valley. IMPROVEMENT Suggested Guests staying some times need Tea during Lunch or Dinner. That should be offered on request. One of friends did not take Dinner due to sickness She asked for Black Tea. They charged 42 Rs for that. Money is not a problem for but the attitude is hurting. This shows management is not Sensible but rigid. Housekeeping at rooms can be improved. We expect moneral water bottles and kettle for the Hotel standard.

Location is good , nothing else. For its price , we should get 3 star facility. I am aware this is a remote location but other hotels in this price has at least good bathroom /toilet. We don't need safe or fridge or automatic Ac in room but at least bathroom should be clean.

This is the best property in this area. Had not expected this beautiful property in such a rural area with proper staff, food, venue, decor... We enjoyed our stay here.. Recommended to all

We had a wedding at Triyuginarayan temple.This property is perfect.The rooms were clean, food was tasty, and staff was very polite and helpful. The location is perfect and the service was quick. Highly recommended
