Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park

I went here with a couple of my friends a few months ago. This place is absolutely beautiful. I loved hiking here — even though we got lost and ended up walking along a road for two hours. The scenery is breathtaking. It’s quiet, it’s green, and it’s peaceful.

Had an amazing time at Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. The hike was refreshing, the air felt clean, and the views were absolutely stunning, one of those places where you just stop and take it all in. I genuinely enjoyed every moment. But one thing really broke my heart: seeing trash scattered along some parts of the trail. A place this beautiful deserves respect. It’s such a small effort to carry our waste back or speak up to others who litter, and it makes a huge difference. If we all stay a bit more mindful, Shivapuri can remain the peaceful, breathtaking escape it’s meant to be. Highly recommend visiting and taking care of it.

Shivapuri Nagarjun is an undervalued gem. It isn't a "walk in the park"—it’s a genuine mountain hike right on the city's doorstep. If you want to sweat out the city pollution and earn a spectacular view, this is the perfect Saturday trip.
