Why even advertise on your window that you price match and beat competitors by 5%? I mentioned that Nike had the shoes on sale, and I was told you don’t price match Nike. One of the employees even smirked and said, “If we price match Nike, they won’t sell us their shoes.” Okay… I was just asking a question. Another employee told me they only price match other shoe stores, not Nike directly. So I checked and found the same shoes at DSW for nearly the same price as Nike. When I asked a different employee if they could price match DSW, he seemed annoyed and told me to “go find out.” I said, “I thought you price matched shoe stores,” and again, he just said he didn’t know and repeated, “Go find out,” like it was a hassle. At that point, I just left and will be buying them from DSW instead.

Not very helpful and they don't carry the size seven I need for my growing boys

I've been in there a few times, they have a great selection of shoes and the prices can't be beat. And it's close to many other places which is very convenient

I’ve been a loyal Shoe Carnival customer, both in-store and online, but after my recent experience, I won’t be returning. When making a return, what appeared to be a manager openly judged me, saying, “Wow, you purchase shoes and then return them the next day. Purchase, return, purchase, return.” It was rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary, especially when many of the shoes that need returning are for my disabled sister who cannot shop in-store on her own. I shop frequently, and returns are a normal part of that process. Because of this experience, I’ll be returning the shoes I purchased that do fit and taking my business elsewhere. Customer service should be about helping customers, not making them feel scrutinized.

Why ask if you need help than we say yes and the store employee says I haven’t tried on all the shoes to tell you you just need to try them on and see what’s comfortable.. not helpful left without purchasing. What happened to customer service these days?

Great prices and friendly staff

The store is clean and we'll organized. There is everything from flip flops, sandals, tennis shoes, casual wear shoes, to dress shoes. There is a large selection with great variety of both footwear types and sizes. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back to the Lansing Mall Shoe Carnival to check out their selection the next time I am in need of footwear to see if they have what I am looking for.

Nice store and clean, lots of athletic shoe selection and some other varieties. Not the best place if looking for big work boots that last. Also some employees were just standing around talking.

the salesman that works at this location is not very welcoming at all. We kindly spent our money elsewhere.
