Google
One of the best coffee in Dublin. They have some seats upstairs as well. Tried their peanut butter square and it was so delicious. And also they have open longer than most cafe's in Dublin so one of the best if you want cafe after work.

Google
I recommend going to the upstairs area for people watching and enjoy your beverages and pastries! The pastries were delicious and fluffy, there’s a variety to choose from, staff is friendly and helpful. You can watch your beverages being made (highly recommend). And the atmosphere is cozy, warm and inviting. Something very “mystery’ about it. My friends and I loved it and will return thank you!

Google
Super quirky little coffee shop in a great central location. Staff were lovely and service was amazing. Coffee was great and pastries were also amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Google
A nice selection of cakes and pastries. I chose the Matcha Latte which was very good.

Google
Unassuming from the outside but honestly feels like a hidden gem! Absolutely love the mugs for sitting in. Cappuccino had an amazing amount of foam and the baristas were so nice. Coffee flavour is well rounded and the music selection is so good too!

Google
Delicious coffee spot by the river if you’re in need for a pick me up! Mostly takeaway but some seating too. Casual ambiance. I grabbed a coffee and went for a walk along the river. Customer series was great! Would definitely be back! Cheers!

Google
We’ve had a matcha latte and a cappuccino - very good. Loved the little treat with pistachios. Sitting upstairs is great for people watching and reading.

Yelp
Their mocha was so goooooooddddd. I'm from America and I went to this place 4 times in one week! They also like Labubus

Yelp
Such a charming café! I loved sitting upstairs--the service was so sweet, and there was a genuinely kind and welcoming vibe that made the whole experience even better.

Yelp
That they were open Sunday morning was the first plus. Not being Starbucks was the second. Location was the third but that's relative (it's close to the Dublin Express airport bus stop). Three lovely baristas took my order and while I was disappointed that there wasn't a toastie or other hot breakfast available, I made do with a massive pain au chocolat. The flat white that was made to order was perfection. Rich, creamy and enough caffeine to get me to my AirBNB after a Transatlantic red-eye. And delicious. I sat with my breakfast looking out the shop's front window for a bit, watching the pedestrians and buses go by before heading to the train station.

Yelp
I really like the homey vibe of this place. I came in mainly because there was a Yelp check-in offer. Although Yelp isn't as recognized as other platforms, they still honored my offer which was really nice of them and staff was really friendly! I ordered a matcha latte and it was perfect. I like that they locally roast their coffee and it's more of an attractive option than Starbucks. I would just recommend that whoever manages the page to be aware of the offers they have on the Yelp page - they mentioned that other Americans have come in and they have seen it before, but none of the other employees were aware of it.

Yelp
Awesome coffee place right off River. Has a nice sitting space upstairs and serve drinks in proper mugs. Served up one on the best americanos I found in Dublin on my last trip. Staff is also really friendly.

Yelp
Great quality coffee for my Seattle-based honey. Service was friendly and shop had space to sit and enjoy it for a spell.

Yelp
Great experience! Ambiance is super cute and cozy when initially walking in. We got 2 pastries (raisin scone and pain au chocolat) which were both delicious. Got one hot latte and one iced, both also very tasty. There is a very cute upstairs area with open seating where we could sit in the natural light and just enjoy. Highly recommend and not at all busy for a Sunday morning.

Yelp
I came here for breakfast and got a latte + almond croissant. It's conveniently located next to the DART which I loved. The drink and pastry were wonderful, and the wooden interior is beautiful!

Yelp
Looking for great locally roasted coffee in Dublin? Then head over to Shoe Lane Coffee on Tara Street (near the Tara Street DART Station). This small cafe serves up great tasting espresso drinks and pastries. This coffee shop became our morning stop each day while visiting Dublin. Definitely recommend pairing one of their scones with your coffee!

Yelp
food: This brownie is one of my new favorite foods. you HAVE to get it if you stop in - will definitely stop in here daily to grab one while we're in Dublin service: such pleasant and friendly staff!!! ambiance: Love this spot! It's right off the the street so incredibly convenient, but feels very homey. There are great seating options to sit and catch up with a friend.

Yelp
One of the better coffee places we tried while in Dublin! Cafe was very cute but had limited seating inside or outside. Coffee was delicious and was happy to see they had alternative milks!

Patricia D.

Yelp
Great quiet spot for pastry and delicious coffee drinks. Staff was courteous and friendly. Upstairs seating area is peaceful. Convenient to attractions.

Yelp
This cafe is fantastic. Delicious coffee and baked goods (and perfect presentation to match). If you go upstairs, there is a large wooden table that is perfect for getting some work done. The WiFi is good and there are outlets to plug in your laptop.

Yelp
This is a trendy little coffee shop just beside Tara Street station. I love discovering the many independent coffee shops that are sprouting up these days and I quite liked Shoe Lane. I had an Americano which was served nicely in a glass cup as opposed to a regular coffee cup, which tasted quite good. It wouldn't be my favourite taste as far as Dublin coffee shops go, but it wasn't too bad and much better than any of the coffee shop chains. The cafe itself is quite small and dim inside, but the decor is very cool, a bit street style and there is a small number of table seats and then single window seats. There's also some coffee sho guide books for Dublin and London and also a few newspapers to pass the time. The prices are standard ranging around the €2.70 range for a regular coffee. Overall, cool little coffee shop perfect if en route or getting off the DART!

Yelp
Only open a few weeks, I've been driving past Shoe Lane Coffee daily, thinking: next time I take the bike to work, I must drop in. So last Friday I did. The first thing that catches the eye (my eye) is the coffee menu: simple, no frills. I instantly like it. Naturally I ask where the coffee is from and I'm told it was from Nicaragua, roasted by Full Circle Coffee Roasters. Staff is friendly and I liked the music they played. Apart from a selection of juices and lemonades they also sell salads and sambos for lunch and will start doing porridge for breakfast soon. I'm sure once college has started, this place will be buzzing with students looking for a caffeine hit.

Yelp
Had the rose mocha, best little niche in Dublin I've been to yet! It's perfect to swing by or chat at. Super friendly baristas!

Yelp
New coffee shop alert - YAY!!! So I walked past shoe two weeks ago and added it to my list of places to try. I dropped in this morning and those pastries on display looked YUMMY. I was tempted and I resisted, so go me. I ordered a latte and was disappointed with the price, €3 for a small cup of latte . It was good coffee just not worth 3 quid a cup.

Yelp
Ooooh wow where have been all this time! So its always been on my list to try but for some reason i end up going to other speciality coffee places. This time I end up going out with 2 anti coffee girls and lucky me i saw their Instagram account and while strolling down their posts I saw their Rose water hot/cold chocolate. I asked if they still do it and a reply came immediately "Yes". So I took my anti coffee friends for rose hot chocolate and Wooooow it was Super good we all loved it. It was very good that we all linked the taste or the smell to different childhood memories i personally thought of Turkish delight and Istanbul. I had mine with oat milk and it was lovely and i also tried one of their vegan desserts made of date and nuts ( #AllICanSayIsYum).

Yelp
I had a very good almond milk latte here for 3.70 euros. Not the cheapest place, but the quality is very high. You get what you pay for. The Wi-Fi works quite well, also. My only complaint is that the furniture is pretty minimalist and spare, so you might not want to sit and linger for too long.

Yelp
If you love coffee this is the place to be. Coffee is great, baristas passionate and there's a friendly atmosphere. The place might be packed with people, but sitting, standing or To Go, the coffee is top top notch. I'm addicted to their smooth, strong espresso. Highly recommend!

Yelp
A cute little shop with a few benches to sit on. Lots of pastry choices (chocolate orange brownie - yum!) They do a pretty good decaf cappuccino (yes decent decaf exists!) and the staff are lovely. There's lots of fizzy drink choices in the fridge as well in case coffee isn't your thing.

Yelp
Best flat white in Dublin. Friendly service, fun coffee cards, love the name system too. Nice selection of easy counter food

Yelp
A true coffee shop. Actual caffeine confections and beans to buy. Not the normal euro coffee pad.

Xristian T.

Yelp
First time in Dublin - right around the corner from the Tara St train stop is this little cafe with a great cappuccino topped with cinnamon and chocolate.

Yelp
Delicious coffee, served in glass cups, vegan-friendly (selection of dairy-free milks and plenty of free-from friendly treats at the counter), quirky decor (think navy wall paint, old school chairs and desks) and above all a lovely and calm escape from the hustle and bustle. A great place to sit and chat and catch up, we didn't feel rushed at all. It looks small from the outside but there are seats upstairs too. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Very good coffee, friendly service, amazing irish accents. Ok I guess thats a given in ireland. After traveling and trying a lot of coffee though this place ranked pretty high on my list. GIve it a shot!

Yelp
Love this little spot on Tara street. Excellent coffee and treats, really nice and friendly staff and perfect location beside my office. Can't beat it!

Taylor T.

Yelp
Cute little place! The upstairs is great to get work done! Would return for sure. Good WiFi as well.

Nora H.

Yelp
The best chai latte my friend has every had, and great black coffee in a place where instant coffee runs rampant. The pastries looked scrumptious

Dave N.

Yelp
Great local coffee... From someone who travels alot... And is always on hunt for great coffee... You will not be disappointed!

Yelp
After studying abroad in Dublin for the semester, Shoe Lane was definitely one of my favorite study spots/coffee shops in the city! Cozy and warm atmosphere with quality coffee and convenient seating area upstairs. Friendly staff and overall wonderful place to check out :)

Thea S.

Yelp
Lovely spot, great coffee and friendly staff. The store seems to attract a good variety of people. Will definitely visit again!
