Shoprite Pemba

The best and the biggest South African Supermarket in Pemba. Having ShopRite in Pemba is a blessing that it has everything even though it is a bit pricey. Again, be careful checking out items at the counter. I have missed small items repeatedly after paying for it.

Its very nice and good place to do shopping and will get everything you want under one roof.the prices are reasonably good.

Basic things but u will find everything under one roof..u can find vapes and juices for e cigarette

Totally new Shoprite in Pemba. The store is clean, the selection of items was good and the fried chicken is absolutely delicious. The store is in a new strip mall.

Great mall for people looking to buy groceries, clothing and medication. It has all possible basic needs. The ample parking space and clean rest rooms make it great to visit.

Great shop. Much better than the ones in South Africa. Very clean shop with almost everything you need, friendly personnel.

The atmosphere around the place is relaxed and shopping is stress free. The only downside is that the only ATM that was on the premises is no longer available, making access to cash difficult.

Not safe to shop here...a lot of homeless kids hangout inside the supermarket looking for opportunities to grab something from a purse. Tried to complain to staff and looks like management simply does not care...safer to shop at VIP.
