"Iconic Swiss Railways Clock at Zürich Hauptbahnhof Look familiar? If the Swiss Federal Railways clock looks instantly recognizable, that’s because Apple used an eerily familiar design for its iOS 6 operating system used by its iPhone and iPad mobile devices. (It turned out to be an expensive gamble: the tech giant had to pay a reported $21.5 million in a patent dispute to the Swiss national rail operator SBB in 2012.) While the iconic clock can be spotted all over town—as well as in the Museum of Modern Art in New York City—the best place to ogle the famed design is at Zurich Hauptbahnhof, the city’s main train station and Switzerland’s largest."

It is the only shopping mall open on Sundays. Great shops. Many entrances which connect to the streets and the train station. Lots of shops with services, basic groceries, clothing, food and souvenirs. Not too well signed inside. Can get very busy but it's a very neat mall to go to.

Many stores with generous opening times. When visiting for the first times, it might be a good idea to check the locations on a plan, as there are several stations in one and the stores are not all in the same location

OK shops, felt very run-down and claustrophobic. Not a great atmosphere for retail. Even though it's supposed to be a shopping mall, toilets cost 1.50fr.

I simply walked through here on a layover. The selection of shops is impressive and the mall spacious. I wish I had known their are luggage lockers. I discovered this after dragging my bag around Old Town for four hours.

Plenty of shops , retailers, supermarkets , restaurants spread all over in the network of ground and underground floors. While in transit and waitiing for connecting trains, your waiting will become bearable or even enjoyable. They even have exhibition soccer matches at the station.

Open 365 days of the year, you find almost everything you could be in need of. Some stuff is a but pricey tho, 'cause of the location. Biggest most frequented trainstation in Switzerland.

Yelp
The new "frescoed ceilings" are probably a joyful reminiscence of the start of the digital revolution. The computer game animations are plotted in screen resolutions of the first online services in the 80s. Shown are cartoon like scenes of shopville. There is also a little augmented reality effect. Sometimes you see more, if you watch them with your mobile. Cool also to vary the music your listening to, when watching them. Try it for example with Skrillex Bangarang.

Yelp
An underground shopping plaza with an array of offerings, mostly books and bakeries. There is a Swisscom with English speaking employees that is open on Sundays. There is a large SwissSmile dental practice that is open on Saturdays. The jewel is the Migros, especially on Sundays. It is large and well appointed but expect long lines and hostile crowds. There are very clean toilets on the 2nd floor but they cost 2chf to use.
