Small but cozy restaurant. Ideal after bird watching on Handa Island. The seafood is fresh from the sea. I can recommend the seafood platter. There's also a good selection of homemade cakes. No fancy coffee machine. Just filtered coffee but good.
An extra plus: their water from a local well without chlorine. We loved it.

We were hungry after walking around Handa and this place was a great surprise. The food here is amazingly fresh. Not only the seafood but the veggies. I was sitting where I could see in the kitchen, and it’s literally an old grandma cooking by herself.
The service was a little on the cold side, not sure why. Maybe because we weren’t locals?

Found this gem purely by accident.
Had the soup which was delicious and would definitely go again.
Staff were friendly and advised all the seafood is locally sourced. So look forward to returning.
If your doing the NC500 definitely worth a visit.

This is such a nice little restaurant. We came in towards the end of their service so we were the only ones here. We got the smoked salmon and the baked salmon. Both were very fresh and tasty. Our server was very friendly as well. We would absolutely come back here!

An absolutely delightful place to eat out!
We've been lucky and just turned up at 12 and got a spot even without reservation.
Food, as you might know from other reviews, is amazing and prepared with love and beautifully presented - but the most charming thing about this place is that it is a pure family business and you have to be aware that upon entering, you not only purchase some random food but you support this hard and honest work these guys are delivering with passion and pride and it is so worth it and the success so well deserved!

Stunning wee place beside the sea, surrounded by islands and hills, lovely atmosphere, delicious food, nice staff, dog friendly, absolutely well priced, worth to drive over 200miles just to have a lunch and enjoy the beautiful environment, highly recommend for anyone who loves quiet, hidden places ❤️🏴
