Shoreline Inn

We were so happy to find a place ON the beach that allows pets! We chose an upstairs room for a better view and more privacy...good decision. Here's our take:|PROS:|Room was spotless and had the usual goodies, plus a fridge & microwave.|They supplied a water dish with doggie treats and a towel specifically for pets.|The view from the balcony's sun chairs couldn't be beat. Sunsets were beautiful.|They loan binoculars at no charge; great to watch the otters, seals and birds.|Bed and pillows were very comfortable. A room tower fan is included. (no A/C)|Grounds are clean, beautiful and very well maintained, even the poop area.|Outdoor shower and foot sprayer. Also a barbecue area and 3 fire pits.|Staff were super nice and helpful.|Complimentary coffee, tea & cookies in office.|Beer, wine, soda, snacks and souvenirs sold in office.|CONS:|Room was quite small.|No closet, just a rack with hangers.|TV channel selection is very limited (Hey, can't watch the ocean after dark!)||We will definitely return and would recommend the Shoreline Inn.

Great little place, right in the middle of town, coffee shop across the street, cookie company a block away and right on the beach. Clean, good value, staff is very nice. Coffee in lobby all day, cookies in the afternoon. Pet friendly, fire pits. Nice landscaping on the patio If your in the area and want a quiet place by the beach, this is it. Shoreline Inn was such a fantastic stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and ours had great views. The location is perfect, right across from our favorite antique stores and a lot of what Cayucos has to offer! Great staff and grounds, so beautiful. The sound of the ocean at night is 12/10. We cannot wait to come back!

1st time staying here i am 100% impressed. You literally on the beach. Rooms are very clean and recently updated. The grounds are impeccable Staff is awesome. Will be back for sure. If you want nice place to stay, do yourself a favor and stay here.

Beautiful. Rooms are very nice and so close to the beach and so many places to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. All walking distance. Dog friendly of course. Our babies loved it. My wife and I already made reservations for my birthday in September.

Really sweet little spot. They really accommodate to dogs and we travel everywhere with our pups. Our room was right on the water, quick access to the beach and an outdoor shower to wash the pups off after a sandy beach run. We loved it!

Our first stay here. We usually stay at a hotel down the road but wanted a view. This is a great hotel to stay. I was a bit disappointed that we could not get into the room until 3 o'clock even though I checked in at 11. Wish they would have cleaned our room quicker but oh well that's the worse that happened.

I have no idea how this beautiful place has a two star rating? This is an absolutely amazing place. The service here was outstanding the ambiance is breathtaking we are just steps away from the beach and the room is one of the nicest I’ve stayed in. Clean, very modern just so nice with all the amenities. Including a really nice shower which is hard to find when traveling. I highly recommend staying here if this is two stars I’m a idiot this is 5 ⭐️’s easy
