Awesome spot! The selection of drinks is great, and the bartenders are welcoming and experienced. It's a small place with a grand atmosphere. Cool memorabilia paint the walls and music of all types play in the background. Bathrooms are well kept (Right on!). As well as the overall cleanliness of the establishment. Each time I have been here, the locals are good company and it's always worth the visit.

This is a cool bar. Beer selection was very good as well as the service and decor. Would definitely stop in again if in the area... good thing we have some close friends that live in Bayonne 😁

Cool place with good prices, they have a pool table and an old PAC-man game. My only complaint is getting served beer in a mason jar, kind of odd, lol. Also some dude was running the pool table the whole time, bro had a glove and custom cue, come on bro. Overall good experience in general, will go back.

Great bar, the restrictions make it tough to get in. There's only 7 or 8 tables total, plus 2 at the pool table. Service is great, friendly bartenders, the people that frequent the place are nice. If covid weren't here, it would be a weekend spot for my wife and myself. Right now it's a special occasion spot (since we don't leave the house to speak of).

Customer oriented staff that has experienced mixologists. They provide a friendly environment and atmosphere for all of their clients regardless of race, religion and sexual orientation, a pool table and music selection that is as varied as their clients. An excellent place to go alone or with a group. On weekends, they provide adequate security so their clientele can feel safe and secure.

Its a great bar! Nice chill vibe, the amazing bartender said she only works on Wednesday nights for now (i haven't met the other bartenders yet) sooooo ill be going there Wednesday nights 😁👍🏼

Absolutely love this place! The people are so damn friendly and personable . everyone ( I mean everyone ) talks to you and makes you feel welcomed. The bar is lgbt friendly and there's all sorts of people there. I made friends in 10 seconds. They have theme nights and karaoke and so much more. I only started playing pool a few months ago so i'm terrible but the people there teach you. The drinks are cheap and affordable and the bartender Amanda is 10/10! She knows how to make a drink, knows when to refill and she's friendly! This place is literally a gem in the rough. def a local bar I recommend to anyone in Bayonne! Have fun everyone

Came mid day in the afternoon so maybe this review is out of the ordinary but we had a great time! Not a lot of people around at this time, which means mostly free reign on all the pinball machines! Decent beer selection, a lot of games and basically all of them are in great condition. The bar is not too divey, more like a cool grungy hip bar, so it felt pretty safe all around. Plus they had these tables that repurposed retro pinball machines, awesome experience!

I wish I could have given zero star ,, I been here so many times but never ever had any problems,, Last evening i was there I was playing pool with friends and enjoying but the girl bar tender she was rude and very bad service,, she was talking with only guy right bar corner instead of giving customers service ,, will never ever comeback here even though I will my friends too ,, Thanx

This is a great bar. The service is good, the decor is quirky, and the music is perfect. It attracts a fun, friendly crowd, and they have a good variety of beers on tap. While I was there, they were generous enough to comp me a couple of pumpkin beers because they said they were very excited for the winter lagers they had ordered! Thoughtful, and fun. Check it out.

3.5 and will update and increase rating if future visits are better. The pro's are that it is a fun, relatively welcoming, and friendly bar on a Friday night of Karaoke. The male bartender was certainly attentive and welcoming. We got some awkward glares but we will assume it was just because we were not part of the neighborhood bar regulars. The majority of the patrons were welcoming. Con's is their censorship on certain artists and genre's in their jukebox. That was very off putting. There are some songs I rather not hear but in their attempt to censor things like vulgarity, by default, it blocked other well known artists that are not remotely as crass as others. Take note there are other reviews addressing this factor and the uncomfortable vibe this projects.

Everyday run of the mill pub. Pool table and just a few flat screens to accompany about a 20 seat half square bar. Festive crowd, but $5 & $6 for a draft is a bit high for this neighborhood. $3 pbr cans. It's ok.

I went a couple weekends ago, after walking the Bayonne Bridge from Staten Island. Attempting to try something new we chose this bar. As soon as we entered, we could see it was a really spacious...open & airy. Full/well-stocked bar several of my favorite bottles I spotted right away. .The female bartender was super, super kind & I really liked her energy good vibes & she was very personable. I was also very tickled to see that they have my favorite jukebox (TouchTunes). So of course because I have the app on my phone I instantly began playing music. My usual Music choices... Phil Collins, Garth Brooks and then attempted to play a Prince song. And that's when the frustration begin. After searching and attempting to play a several different artists I realized that this jukebox had a block on it that prevented me from playing what seemed like any artist that could be considered soul music or soulful. It was at that moment that my family realized I was annoyed & over this place. So we finished our drinks, said our goodbyes to the bartender & fellow drinkers and exited. The crowd was mixed and the bar seemed like it was a really cool place, decorated with skateboards. But to see so many great artists blocked on the jukebox, kinda made me believe that maybe this bar didn't want me and my family there. I strongly doubt that I'll ever return and if I do it would be just to say hi to that bartender (maybe her name was Katherine... she had great tattoos) I gave 3 stars because of the bartender & good selection of booze... but I would give 5 thumbs down because of lacking music options. I mean hey... it's a bar in Bayonne New Jersey not the piano bar in the Russian tea room or Ritz-Carlton And even there I should be allowed to hear PRINCE every now and then

Best spot in town! Friendly service, pool table, good music, and good crowd. They've been open a little over a month and we head in at least once a week. The last two times we've seen some great live music there and stayed out waaay too late. Prices are super reasonable and we're able to hang out for a long time and not break the bank. Welcome to town Shorty's...

I usually don't write reviews, but my drink literally had a finger nail in it I almost threw up. The bartender was so rude about it even though it was probably her dirty finger nail. The staff seem as though they are on heroine or meth. Place should be shut down its unsanitary.

I really like this bar and am not a bar person. The interior is clean and inviting, the staff is welcoming, the owner is super nice. It is a place that anyone can go and meet friends and feel welcome and safe and enjoy an excellent cold beer on draft. The prices are fair and the bathrooms and clean. I will return again for sure. A great addition to Bayonne.
