Just purchased a custom hat while in Las Vegas for the Run for a Million. Greta was amazing and helped us out tremendously. Small talk was refreshing, atmosphere was very welcoming, and Shorty kept my husband busy while I shopped for the perfect hat. Taylor had the shaping done very quickly and made sure to put his special touches on it. Thank you, very much!

1300 miles away from home but will be using them for all of my hats from now on! They were so accommodating and shipped my first custom hat home for me so I didn’t have to wrangle it on the plane! The guys were awesome and created a masterpiece for me the woman who measured me and helped me pick my hat out was also the best!

I'm relaying a review from my dad who doesn't do Google reviews but wanted to show appreciation. This past March I brought in my wife's Bailey Cowboy hat for restoration. The Bailey is pretty close to 50 years old. It was covered in dust and the felt seemed brittle and lifeless. The inside liner was crusty and brittle. When I came back to pick the hat up, I was astonished at its appearance! It looked off the shelf brand new, the felt was thicker, solid feeling and the color vibrant. They shaped it and sized it for me on the spot, exactly as I described. They took the hat completely apart, put in a smoking new liner and headband. It feels better than any hat I have ever worn, and I wear a lot of different hats. The new leather headband is thicker and much more pliable. It fits so firmly, yet not so that it causes a head ache. It feels as though it would take an Oklahoma tornado to pull it off my head. I am so pleased!! I wear this hat all the time now. Thank you Shortys!! You knocked this one out of the park!!

I found an old Royal Stetson Open Road hat at a thrift shop. It was about my size, but it was filthy and the felt had gone soft. I took it to Shorty’s and they restored it. It came out looking great. I also found out that it is older than I’d thought it was. They said it’s from the 1940’s. If you’re looking for a new hat, or you want to restore something vintage, check out Shorty’s. They do great work with friendly service. I included some before and after pics of the hat.

Best hats in the business. Great people as well. Shorty and Bobby have been at it a long time. Kyle, Drake, Tyler and Scott are all great to work with and do a great job of cleaning and shaping.

Yelp
Went to shorty's location in OKC and ordered a Granite custom 100% Beaver and a Silver Belly Mink at the BBR World Finals and let me tell you they are amazing fits. Tyler Lyles was a great help in the booth and I can't wait to get my custom Granite in the next 12 months.

Yelp
Stopped in for a new straw hat. Store was busy, but service was quick and excellent. Hat was shaped great. Appreciate the individual service.

Yelp
Chose Shorty's after reading so many really good reviews. Unfortunately I did not get the same great service they seem to be known for. I needed the sweatband reattached in my vintage Spanish/American US Army slouch hat. The renovation sounded like a good idea so I left it with then after explaining in detail about the drooping brim and that I wanted the crease to be 'as before'. Upon picking up the hat I was sorely disappointed. As explained to me, None of my instruction were passed on to whoever reno'd it. It was treated as a modern day cowboy hat. The brim was totally flat, a NEW sweatband was installed. No pictures were taken before rework (I was told pics would be taken), a liner had been installed (original hat had no liner). The gentleman tried to get the droop back with steam but was unable to. Actually told me the owner would not let a hat leave the shop unless the brim was flat. I told him the hat was not supposed to have a liner, he said he could fix that, whereas he reached in, grabbed the liner and ripped it out leaving remnants of material sticking out of glue and around the grommets that were not supposed to be replaced, To Shorty's credit, The employees I met when I took the hat in were some of the most friendly and attentive ppl I have met. It's just disappointing that the ball was dropped down the line.

Yelp
Took my new American hat company 40 X pecan in to get it shaped. No wait great device and they actually know how to shape and take care of cowboy hats. Beyond pleased I would trust my 500 dollar hat very many places. If you need your hat restored shaped or taken care of this is the place to go.
