Safe for women who travel alone. Organizing good trips around with very reseanable prices. In the middle of Thamel area. Clean, can arrange trips with good prices. I got a nice clean room with a bathroom only for 15 $/ night. Access to internet. The most thing I liked was the welcoming and cooperative staff especially, the manager. |I wanted to visit Pokhara, and everything was arranged nicely and smooth 3 nights in a good hotel with round trip all with 100 $. I enjoyed my stay at the Shree Tibet family guest house

- Beautiful looking and clean room, floors, bed, and everything, I am happy. |- Nice and friendly and professional staff. |- Soft and comfortable bed|- Warm planket and other warm extra planket in room <3||- Lot of table tops and lockers where is possible put stuff what you have with you|- Hot water coming, not only warm little|- Bathroom was clean and already there was paper and soap and clean towel on the bed |- Electric points and rooms light works |- Very nice rooftop, lot of beautiful flowers |- Great location in Thamel, easy to walk to everywhere ||- I had private room, usually have to pay more if want this kind accommodation, this place was truly really good. I am stay 5 different places in Kathmandu at first and this was sixth and most good place to stay. |- Lock room where is possible leave backpack. ||I can warmly recommended. Definitely to here I will come back again when I travel to Kathmandu again. :) No anything negative experience in here. Many thanks for everything!

Stayed at Shree Tibet Family Guest House on 2 occasions in October 2018, the first for one night, the second for a week.||||Location is good in Thamel, when catching taxi into Hotel traffic is restricted into the street its located, so be aware a walk of about 200m is required.||||Rooms are relatively clean and tidy with all that is required for a Hotel in this price range.||Bed in the first room I had could have used a new mattress, but the bed in the second room was good. Bathrooms were ok, but as in most places in Nepal, Hot water is a bit hit and miss.||There are 4 floors in this hotel and only access is by stairs, NO Elevator but the staff are more than helpful to take luggage to the room for you.||I don’t think breakfast is normally offered as standard, but as we were in a small group of 6 and staying for an extended period, we were offered it. But to be honest it was very basic – omelette, toast and either tea or coffee. ||Hotel does have a basic rooftop area to chill out.||||All in all okay for the money, but for a couple of dollars more some better options available.

Centrally located in Thamel. Well managed budget guest house. Great place to meet fellow like minded travellers. Very social and friendly atmosphere. Terrific tranquil roof terrace. Stayed here many times - never had any complaints with my room or facilities. Okay, all except the occasional cold shower! Not really a problem though. I thoroughly recommend Shree Tibet to any traveller.

The staff at this hotel is so carefully selected. Polite, helpful, caring. I was even lent a phone to call for a flight change that took 40 minutes! They asked for nothing in return... I had to tip to give them money, soooo helpful. They want you to have a good experience. They also befriended me, for real, knew my name, helped me take my photos for my books and projects I was working on. Even nice taxi drivers are in this hotel's web and hang out there to take you where ever, sort of hand selected by the manager in a way. I hired one cab driver to drive me around for photos and he ended up being my assistant! you just don't typically get this service, but at Tibet Guest House you do... food was delicious too, and went down very well, no illness in Katmandu of I eat here.

Namaste! ||||Tibet Guest House is situated at an ideal location at Thamel Marg, where all the shopping and eateries area are in walking distance. Room is clean and the staffs are friendly and polite. ||||In the morning, you may enjoy your breakfast at their beautiful open air courtyard. The roof top has a great view for you to just absorb the beauty of this city. ||||Highly recommend this place and it was a fabulous stay indeed.

A good budget hotel. We have booked dormitory beds for 5 people, charge was minimal and the toilet was neat and clean. Hotel staff was very supportive and they also have booked our taxi for sightseeing which was very reasonable and driver was awesome. Will recommend it for sure. 😊

After travelling for weeks through India and Nepal I have been seen many guest houses, this is not. This is just a cheap hotel. The dorm room only provided 5 more than basic beds (instead of 4) and there is a lot of noise. The hotel members were not very helpfull which you definitely would expect in a guest house.
