This temple was dedicated to lord Vishnu and there are lot of things to know about this site. If you're planning hampi then this site must be included in your plan. Plan this temple in first half of the day and better plan Virupaksha temple during afternoon so that you can see the sunset from there. If you're not getting direction to the temple, navigate to the parking area searching the temple parking and from parking there is buggy running to the temple which takes 30 rupees per head. Before coming to the temple better watch some guide videos from youtube so that you can relate the things in the temple as there is lot of things to know about the temple and history. The place is marvelous..decently maintained.. It's quite clean.. Can be quite overcrowded on holidays.. The famous Stone chariot is located within it. It's one of the main attractions of Hampi.. The walk from main entrance is around 500-600 metres.. There are electric cabbies available at nominal price.. The distance is also walkable in favoured weather.. The place is a beauty in each and every point.. Keep water and important items handy as it's quite a walk.. There are lots of shops around the main gate..but none within the vicinity..
