"The Bold and Beautiful Laxmi Narayan Temple The Laxminarayan Temple (also called the Birla Mandir) is an elaborate Hindu temple of red and white columns, artificial mountains, and waterfalls. The temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi with the condition that the site would be open to all castes and faiths. "Laxmi Narayan" refers to the Hindu God Vishnu, the Preserver, with his consort Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth and Prosperity. There are also three side-temples dedicated to Buddha, Shiva, and Krishna. The temple is illuminated during two important holidays: Diwali, the Festival of Lights, and Janmashtami, Krishna's Birthday."

My visit to Birla Mandir on Janmashtami was a truly special experience. Even with the festival crowds, the atmosphere was peaceful and well-managed, allowing us to have a wonderful darshan in just 15 minutes. The temple was beautifully decorated for the occasion, adding to the festive mood. We were lucky to catch a cultural program in the Gita Mandir, which was a lovely way to see how the temple celebrates the festival. The highlight was how thoughtful the temple authorities were; juice was served to all the devotees, which was very welcome on such a busy day.

It is beautiful, mind calming, scenic, rich and reputed as a high quality establishment. It also has a dharmashala. The quality of materials on floor, wall and the celling are very rich. The deity of Ganesha, Santoshi, Laxmi-Narayana, Shive, Sri Krishna and Hanuman are being worshipped here. The entry is absolutely free. Carrying mobile phone, camera and other other electronic devices are not permitted to the temple. But locker facilities are available for visitors to store them safely at the ground floor.

This is the amazing place for devotees, temple is too clean, peacefull and amazing. But remember they not allowed phone, Camera inside the temple. But theyy provide you facility for storing these things free of cost. But there is one garden there have a lot of amazing statues for visits but this is next side to mandir and there you can bring your smart phone and camera. But trust the temple is too under rated as per there capability please do this more viral.

Really love this temple, the architecture, the temple staff, the paintings and statues. Even though the temple is a gem,it is mostly empty and very underrated.i suggest everyone to visit here at least once. The temple itself is pretty big, alongside there is also a huge garden with the temple which offers variety of mini temples, statues of animals,a small cafe.and many sweet spots for photoshoots. I recommend this place for vlogging, but you can not bring any thing inside the temple including any phone or camera and it is prohibited to take any kind of pictures and video inside the temple.but the garden is free to shoot.

We visited this temple after ages. They have ample paid parking on the side road. The temple is quite big and there is a garden too. But you cannot rahe your cameras and mobiles inside and can’t take photographs. There is a nice park behind in the premises itself. Also, there used to be as all Prasadam outlet. Serves nice samosas and tea. The temple is dedicated to Laxmi Narayan ji. On Sundays it’s open till 10 pm through out the day and doesn’t close during noon time. Crowd started pouring in after 9.30 am. Shoe house is outside.

I visited this place in January 2025. It is spread across a huge perimeter. The main temple has the entrance just attached to the main road. One needs to deposit the shoes at the shoe counter near the entrance in order to enter the Main temple. Behind the main temple lies a huge park with smaller temples residing in that park. You'll find many retired folks sitting on the park benches and kids and families having a good time. There is a restaurant present inside the premise as well as parking spots for vehicles. Some 20-30 mins walking from the RK ashram metro station. Entry is free of cost.
