Shrine of the Báb (Bahá’í Holy Places)

The highlight of our visit to Haifa. Beautiful to look at from the valley at night and spectacular to visit during the day.

Avoid. In 33°C heat, they don’t let women in wearing shorts — and this is just the garden, not the shrine itself. Meanwhile, men in shorts are allowed without issue. The Baháʼí Gardens seem oddly fixated on policing women of working age — a mindset not far from the Muslim “modesty.”

Most beautiful Baha'i garden with 19 terraces, also called hanging garden, gives lofty feelings while visiting this place, shrine of the Bab - the fore runner prophet of Baha'i Faith, overlooking the German Colony of German Templers below, that makes Haifa a amazing city beside Mediterranean Sea over the slopes of Mount Carmel in Holy Land, the Israel.

Not really good like I like the plants and things but once u get to the top there’s NOTHING only some mattress not a special one and boring and it’s very crowded also you gotta take of your socks and shoes

The moment you walk into the grounds of the Baha'i Gardens you will feel as though you've entered into an otherworldly plane. There is a calmness and serenity to the atmosphere as you sit down or walk around. The sounds from the water gushing in the fountains and the pebbles under your feet, paired with the sweet scented flowers, will make you feel at peace. Pray, meditate, or contemplate life - the quietness seeping through and around the Shrine will help you come up with an answer to the challenges you face or will give you a moment in the day to get wrapped up in peaceful thought.

Best experience of my life. Very nice place. A must see for everyone and every age.
