This place is great breakfast is reasonably priced. Seating is limited. Staff is great. Very friendly very attentive. We came in for breakfast at like 11am after a long morning of fishing. Definately hit the spot. Bloody Marie's have a solid spice to them so if your not a fan of spicy let them know when you order. I love the heat and the green beans were an interesting twist. (Love green beans) Today I had the quesadilla loaded with all the good stuff minus the mushrooms. Took half of it home with me. My husband had the biscuits and gravy with a side of sausage. He said the gravy was absolutely delicious. Great job

I've been here a few times and if you anyone other than the older bartender man waits on you, it will be excellent service. But the old man is beyond rude and condescending. Pretty sure he is angry at you just for walking in the door. The food is amazing and all other staff was so kind and attentive. It would of been all 5 stars otherwise. That man was just awful to us each time I've been there with different groups over the past year. Puts a damper on each beach trip. You know the Oysters and steamer clams are good when you keep coming back anyways. Need to find a different spot with consistent service.

Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning during a holiday weekend and they had no wait! Definitely a small little hole in the wall spot with home style cooking. Everyone enjoyed their meals for the most part, the chicken fried steak was definitely questionable. Super chewy. No one liked it, the gravy on top was really good though. After we were served our plates, the waitress would practically run away before you could request anything like condiments and then didn't come back to check in on things until she was ready for us to pay. We were happy to enjoy a reasonably priced and quick breakfast

Nice local place to have breakfast. Good Bloody Mary’s! Crab omelet delish. Hang town fry also great. We’ve been here before but usually at lunch. This was our first breakfast. Will check it out again.

Wow! I just had their oyster stew - and it was fantastic!!! It's new on their menu, so I gave it a try - it's creamy with some crushed veggies - and the plentiful oysters are very mild - you don't even have to be an oyster fan. They said you get 10, but I had more ;) I would go out of my way for this, and I'll be back!

Been trying to get eat here for 10+ years. Finally kid free for an evening and just so happen to be Lincoln City! This place did not disappoint! It's a bar with really good food. Did I say really good? I mean great! We had the pan fried oysters. One of the better pan fried oyster I've had. Also had to have a few Oyster shooters. The jalapeño vodka was spot on. The fries were good. The drink prices remind me of the old days. The bartender was really nice and attentive. Definitely planning on having a kid free night again soon!

All the food was excellent! Great oyster dinner options; excellent cod fish & chips (or tots), house-made salad dressings, tartar sauce & cornbread. Good local beer offerings as well. Wonderful service!

Terrible service. I called in an order and was told 20min for 2 burgers and fries. Arrived in 30 min was told my order was getting bagged up, so I ordered a drink to wait. 30 minutes later, after watching 3 tables get served, and asking them where my order was I was finally served. I told the waitress that took an hour. She just brushed me off and said they got busy. The reality is that I sat there while the finished orders which were submitted after me. They lied about my order being almost ready when I arrived, a d avoided me while I waited. If having 6 customers in your establishment is too busy to make 2 burgers in the order they were placed, you should consider that your service is bad. The reality that I was ignored while they lied to me about my food, and that the waitress was rude when I mentioned it took an hour is the real reason I will never give this place another dollar. It was unfortunate that I tipped 10 on a 50 bill before they treated me this way.

Had some of the best oysters I've had this year. And was so lucky to have mark as our bartender today. He made the best smith and kearns We've had on this trip Love the Oregon coast

Great local friendly spot to stop for easy atmosphere and menu selection. Bonus? Parking lot in back. We stopped in for dinner and was pleased with the choices and prices - something for everyone in the group. I had steamers that came with fresh green salad and baked potato and garlic toast! Loved all the sides but steamers were small and chewy. Friend had clam chowder much better than MO's and it came with the buttery garlic toast. Of course a few beers. Total bill and tip less than $40. Winner on the coast!!

Who knew the local town bar would be just what a girl needed to round out her Day Date with Herself? Not this girl, but really, dinner here was the icing on the cake of a wonderful day, and I'm already counting down the days until I go back. To start off, you can tell this is a place where everybody knows your name, ala Cheers, but DEFINITELY not in Boston: I walked in and the staff was chatting it up with the couple of tables there, and the other few people who were sitting at the bar were right at home, with one basically having his beverage of choice at his seat by the time he was there himself. It was the kind of atmosphere that made me wish I lived closer because I could see myself hanging out there on the regular, even if it was just with my book & a Bloody - or a White Claw, which seemed to be selling like hot cakes as of late! Anywho, since I was at the coast, I was craving oysters, and this was one of just a handful of places that came up. I was wanting half shells, not shooters, and those were even more surprisingly difficult to find in - say it with me - a COASTAL town, so I took a shot with the middle of the road reviewed oyster bar, and I'm glad I did. the oysters were briny & sweet, shucked perfectly and honestly were some of the best I've had. I may have overdone it with the horseradish on the last one (I think I smelt colors for a second there), but that's on me & my underestimation of the size of the meat (that's what she said!). Seeing both clam chowder & cole slaw on the menu, I had to try both. I'm from New England, and am VERY particular about my chowder, but this one hit the spot. I won't say it's spot on NE chowder - it was a little bacon heavy, clam light (at least this specific bowl) in my opinion - but I definitely rolled my eyes in happiness and savored it until the very last spoonful. In fact, I had a difficult time deciding if the chowder or an oyster would be my last bite (any other neurospicy Yelpers out there? You know that best bite you save.. yea... that one), but the chowder won out. The slaw was delicious too, confirmed made in house, but it wasn't my favorite of the three... that is not to say it wasn't amazing, but it had 2 very difficult running mates, and I don't think much of anything could have beat out either the chowder or the oysters. Somehow, amidst all this, I've managed to leave my normally favorite beverage to last: the good ole spicy Bloody Mary. In my opinion, there is no wrong time of day to have one, and this baby proved me right! The next time I go in, however, I think in addition to asking for Tito's, I'm going to ask for it to be made with the horseradish from the kitchen because smelling colors is cool, but also because I think that's about the only dang thing that could make it even better. Oh... or maybe celery & celery salt.. but that's *my* rim/garnish preference, and I'm not a regular... but I want to be... PS: 90s music on the 'juke box' for the win. My playlist for my 2hr drive home was definitely inspired by Aliyah!

Don't understand the negative Nellies reviews on here. Jarred oysters aren't poisonous or bad. The shooters were great, the chowder delicious, the steamers were good and the oyster po boy was the best I have ever had. Not fancy. You walk by an aggressively smoky smoker's porch but otherwise we loved it. If you're looking for fancy this isn't it. If you want some drinks and oysters stop by

Shuckers became one of my favorite places while living in Lincoln City. Good food and great service!

Have tried this place twice and it's disgusting every time. I don't know what we're missing based on the other reviews but it just smells like smoke, mildew carpet and old liquor. Moscow mule is powdered mule mix, vodka cran is old cran juice and now that we've tried the oysters, I've never been more put off. Waiter made sure to mention that the oysters that aren't off the half shell are JARRED. Anyone who is safe with their food knows that jarred oysters aren't safe to consume raw and shouldn't be eaten, paired with their homemade Bloody Mary, which I imagine is also powdered, I would not recommend getting raw seafood here. Will not be back.

We enjoyed the oysters, oyster platters and clam chowder. I really like their cooked sautéed and fried oysters too. Great service. This is a bar and doesn't have a separate dining area, so must be 21 and older to be here.

This place totally lived up to what others told me. Breakfast was 100% on point. Service was great. Atmosphere was perfectly divey.

We like the dive bar ambience. They have tv, lottery. Foods pretty decent. Home cut fries, lots of people ordering shooter. We split Ruben and fries which was really good! But we LOVE their coke slaw!!! Yum/e

The Staff were great. Food was yummy. I had wonderful oysters with salad and baked potato. Delicious. My husband had a Ruben and tots. Super fresh and homemade corn beef. This was our 2nd will be back for sure.

Ate here for the first time and would definitely come back. The seafood platter was so good. Oysters were fresh. The waitress was friendly and made good drinks. The only down side was some heavily intoxicated customers that were scream talking. We were able to sit in the far corner to escape them and had a nice meal.

Oye Ok. This is a nice little dive bar. Staff is friendly 5 stars for that. The drinks.. it's a dive bar. No complaints. The food however.... BLAND as bland gets. It's like slightly wet cardboard, unfortunately. I hate to review it like this but the food is very very lacking. And I'll be honest. Trying the oysters with how lacking their food is, that's a pass for me. So just don't expect much. It's not that dive bar tht is shockingly good. It's just blahh

Great dinner at Shuckers Oyster bar in south Lincoln city. Try Ty Clam chowder was delicious with lots of chewable clams and piping hot. Fried Shrimp and oyster were perfectly cooked. The salad had the best green peas mixed in. The bartender was helpful, efficient, a makes a great margarita!

Service here is always friendly and they are the only place in town with raw oysters on the half shell. We stop by when we are in town several times a year. We stopped and enjoyed oysters and then ordered food to go. They charged over 20$ for a Crab Louie salad and we got a handful of salad with soggy lettuce and tablespoon of crab. Also the oyster po' boy was just two chunks of mashed clams with a breading that wasn't cooked through. Disappointed we chose this spot with so many stellar places to eat here.

Food was excellent, in the 8 days we spent in Lincoln City, we went there 3 times, Saturday September 27th, was probably the rudest Bartender we have ever came across She was definitely biased towards tourists(us) , asked her a few questions and she responded with a sarcastic "What?" , did not check on us, never were we asked how everything was...her and the other bartender talked about coworkers...the cooks I said to her that she could close out our tab...I left an $18 tip from a $99 bill....wish I had not have! As she scooped up the bill from me.....no thank you folks, come again NOTHING The couple Next to us were frustrated with her, a guy who came out of the smoking area to order a drink, she about bit his head off, telling him "it will be a bit" he told her it's okay no worries We Come down on the Oregon Coast for the last 11 years....we will definitely come back to Schuckers, you have to try their Jalapeño Vodka Oyster shooters...OMG But if we walk in and she's bartending, NO thanks Description for reference: Long dark hair and glasses

This is a cool place. The bartenders are friendly and very nice. They even like to crack jokes too. The good was good. The oyster shooters are delicious. A bargain too. 6 oyster shooters in vodka and shrimp for $10.00 The clam chowder was a little runny. The halibut fish and chips were good. The halibut had a nice light crust to them. Light and fluffy halibut with really good tartar sauce to go with them. The Oregon lottery video games are fun. They have about 5 of them. They have a huge bar and it looks like alot of tourists and locals like to go there. I will definitely go back again soon.

I have never been to Lincoln City without stopping by Shucker's. Fish is always fresh, prices are fair, staff is friendly and helpful. Their oysters on the half is my go to.

This place is not a restraunt/bar, it is a bar that has a few oysters. The oysters tasted horrible, and the environment is dark and dreary. I would never come back here again. Notice that the good reviews on their website are 9 years old, well yeah, now I see why.

The best Oyster Shooters in town! Get the 6 pack! They are the freshest oysters! The wimpy burgers (with cheese) are a must! Come here for a drink with the locals and a laugh! Order a bloody Mary while you are at it!

This place is great. It's a dive bar for sure but don't let that deter you. The food is great with some of the freshest salads and oysters in the city. The service can be gruff at times but it's mainly because they are busy and moving fast which they do. The food comes out quick and the prices are way more affordable than other places with half the food quality. The oyster dinner platters alone are worth it. Oh and the game show network is always on and often you get to play along with other peeps around the bar which has a very nostalgic vibe that reminds you of dinners at your grandparents house.

Wasn't even allowed into the door. Walked up to the very clearly wide open front door at exactly 8:18pm on a packed and pleasant Thursday evening, advertised as closing at 10pm. After standing around other patrons being actively served food, we were told "we're cleaning up and closing soon" lying straight through their teeth right to my face. One of the only open spots in town, you call yourself a bar and can't even get your hours right or stay open past 8:30 for patrons during peak season when your hours clearly listed 10 pm. Abhorrently disappointing and I couldn't even try the food...

Service was great, food was tasty. We stopped in here after beach hopping all day. The atmosphere says bar, but is relaxing.

I had to laugh so hard while reading some of these reviews I was just here today and "disgusting" is truly the word for this place. The people that work there are as rude as the food is bad. I have never been to a place with such rude people. They do not greet you. They don't come over to check on your food. They don't ask you how you're doing and it was Mother's Day. Not even Happy Mother's Day. I'm a mother and a grandmother who happened to be in there because my family is far away. I had gone here once before with a friend on my birthday after a hike and I remembered the salad was really good and so was the shrimp cocktail. I remember my friend was getting upset because the women that worked there were so unbelievably rude. I said to her don't worry, maybe the food will be good and we were fortunate that time however, coming back the food was absolutely disgusting!!! I don't know how you can completely ruin a salad, putting all the wrong ingredients together in small amounts, packing it together and then saying oh it's a really big salad, you mean a really big piece of crap? I also agree agree with another poster. It's like walking into a filthy dive bar that everyone has urinated on the carpet and stomped all their cigarettes and condoms into it. That's what it reminds me of. And he was right you have to walk through a disgusting smoking section on the way to get your meal. Maybe the idea of this place was just to be a bar and they never wanted to serve food anyway? Maybe they just expected the worse from me because I'm a woman alone which is so rude because women alone very often are the best tippers. I usually tip 20% or more everywhere I go, but if you're going to ignore me, ignore asking me if I'd like some more of my beverage and make me walk over to the bar to pay so I can get the hell out of your establishment. You will get exactly what I left two dollars, which is gracious considering, the rudeness and food that leaves you running to the vomitorium. I am sad for the women who work here what a tragedy of a job. I would rather be a stripper in a high-end strip club than serving drinks in a place like this that before you go there you need to get your Hep C shot or better yet just don't go there. To answer some of the posters, it's not surprising that some people do write good reviews. You have to remember this is Lincoln City. It's not on the map for culture and class, just look at the size and shape of the people walking in and out, they will eat and drink anything. That's why this town is known for horrible restaurants, but this one really wins the prize.

Great staff and the best biscuits and gravy in town. The Bloodys will wake you right up. They add horseradish to the mix. Neat little dive bar with excellent food.

BTW. Why do you have to enter by the dumpsters and garbage bins? Clean up and make it more presentable.

The fried oysters are sooo good! The raw oysters were really fresh too! Must try if you're in the area.

We visit the Oregon Coast often and go through these cities I guess sometimes blind. There is no doubt we've driven past Shucker's 100 plus times and never noticed it. Location: Easy to find! See!, and good parking. Just off 101 past the bridge on the south end of Lincoln City. Atmosphere: Way laid back, lots of lotto players and people who look like they stop in everyday. Not fancy, do not bring your fancy pants attitude here, untuck your shirt and relax. You will be treated as you present. Building: looks like a crusty Oregon Coast dive bar, well maybe it is depending on where you're from. But it is really nice once you peel back one layer of the onion. Menu: See food and Sea food, lots on non vegan items like burgers and deep fried things from the sea. Also shrimp, crab, and yes, oysters. Quality: great prep and taste. We did not have any fried food but it looked good. Everything we ordered was fresh. Service: Excellent and fun. A little in-fighting which made it interesting. Seemed like everyone was on a team and liked working there even in these weird times. Beverages: Excellent bar. Value: Excellent Overall Experience: we loved this place, so sorry we have driven by it for decades but it happened. Now we will visit more often. Highly recommended.

We were looking for a divey bar breakfast this weekend and I was like let's do shuckers! Big mistake. We did 3 oyster shooters to start that came with I believe a bloody marry mix instead of just cocktail sauce. Not many serve it that way but they were cold and fresh. Pretty tasty but gritty. On to breakfast. My wife did the breakfast quesadilla with ham and I went with the crab omelette. Very risky as I've crabbed and eaten it my whole life and it's tough to get a decent one here even though we're known for it. I was like look there's a trillion crabs in shuckers backyard so it's 50/50 I get a decent omelette. As soon as it showed up I got a slight whiff of fishy and a big ol leg of snow crab on top. Snow crab is the cheapest nastiest frozen crab you'll find at any buffet just to say they have crab. It was so salty and fishy I could eat a 1/3 rd only because I was starving and I just feel obligated. It's me. Denny's could have put out a better product. I'm totally cool with salt but the hash browns were soooooo salty!! I ordered sourdough bread and got ONE slice and it was the most basic bread ever. Like if wonder made sourdough I just got it. On to my wife's. I was so hungry I had to try because hers was massive. She got the ham breakfast quesadilla. Yuck!!! How do you screw up a quesadilla?? Green peppers and onions were hard and barely sautéed. Ham was so salty and cheap tasting I swore it was spam. Low low quality. It was such a horrible food experience and it blows my mind this place is still open and serving food. Obviously oysters, locals, and booze keeps it afloat. I will say though the bartender and servers were so nice and polite. Just a shame in a state that's known for producing so much seafood that I'm served frozen minced cat food smelling garbage as breakfast. So nasty. There's a place in garibaldi that offers a crab omelette for 6 bucks more and it's AMAZING!!! It can be done but some owners don't care. Yuck

I've had oyster Rockefeller and fresh oysters and some of the most permanent oyster bars in the coast. This place is hands down a diamond in the rough. The oyster in garlic sautéed is the best I've ever had. I highly recommend the oyster platter you will not be disappointed. Love this place because it's a hidden treasure.

Absolutely our favorite place to visit while in Lincoln city! Not only are the oysters super fresh.. but the burger and fries are amazing! Staff was extremely nice and friendly and the ambiance of the place was nice.

Seems like a locals place which is great. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. The wife got the Oyster everything which was 6 on the 1/2 shell, 6 shooters, 6 pan fried and 6 sautéed. She gave 2 thumbs up and loved them. I got the fish and chips halibut. Fish a little over cooked. Bartender was busy but spot on. We may be back.

The smoking area has a door right next to the main door, so we smelled strong cigarette smoke the whole meal. The tater tots and coleslaw were exceptional. Hamburger was dry and overcooked. Seats were the tall barstool-like where you constantly feel like you're falling forward. The waitress/bartender and Cook were very friendly.

Absolute worst experience I've ever had... and I have told so many people to come here. We always stop by when we are close by at all. It's been 2 years this time, and the two women were rude, ignored us, I saw the bartender get angry with a customer for asking to order a to go item. The older woman was dirty with greasy hair. Sat us at a table FINALLY, after walking by and ignoring us 3 times!! We sat down, nothing. Did not ask if we wanted a drink, and then when someone by us asked about their food, she walked by and rolled her eyes. Then she yelled at that table, from the end of the bar, that their food was up next. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!! I even wore the SHUCKERS sweatshirt I bought 6 years ago, because I save it to come here. I'll be dumping it at Goodwill now. So disappointed and I hear the owner is just as nasty as those women are. Shame on you Shuckers!! No more will I sing your raves.

This place has the best fish and chips I've ever tasted, breading is crumbly and has great flavor, and the fish is so moist. It falls apart in the mouth. Drinks are good service is friendly, and prompt. The oyster Bloody Mary Shuckers are really good, but I did not realize there was vodka in there, until after I had 2. So worth it!!

A small local neighborhood bar/restaurant located in Lincoln City. My friends live the Oysters here as they are fresh and and tasty. I had the wimpy cheeseburger and tots. The value of the food and sticks are super reasonable. The waitstaff were also friendly to us.

YOU CANNOT BRING KIDS INTO THIS ESTABLISHMENT period! Tried eating here after seeing some great Yelp reviews. They would not sit me with my two kids due to there being a full bar. I asked if I could order something to go and he said I could try. Me with a 1 year old proceeded to walk to grab a menu he had left at the bar, told I couldn't even bring the kids in to the restaurant. Totally disappointed since we were staying down the street and could walk to one of three places to eat. Do not recommend if you are a traveling family!

I had 4 different kinds of oysters and a bowl of clam chowder, and this place couldn't be more friendly and cozy for a stop. Fresh oysters, shooters (with Bloody Mary mix and a hint of vodka), pan-fried, and scampi-ed - hits all the spots. Service was friendly from the bartender who never stopped to top off my drinks. No reason to eat at the local chains. Come here, definitely worth it.

Finally tried this place, loved it. Even loved the abrasive "but friendly" bar keep. We ordered the $30 sampler platter to split, and we're not disappointed! "Even though we should have specified half shell oysters." Regardless, the shooters were done with house bloody mary mix, this was a first time experience and it was amazing! Fish and other fare fried to perfection, we left satisfied. Will be back again!

Had the fried oyster dinner with baked potato. Comes with a small dinner salad and I ordered a bowl of clam chowder. Chowder was thick but not much flavor, bread was tasty. The oysters were crispy but could have been cooked a little longer for my liking. Service was ok, perhaps due to us being seated in the bar area.

May be a dive bar, but the greatest oysters, served in many different ways. We really love this place and visit every time we go to the coast.

Our first few visits to Shuckers made it a favorite spot for a locals-slight-dive-but-not-really-a-dive place. Unfortunately, they committed an unforgivable crime during our last visit and we won't be back. They served us warm oysters! As in, oysters on the half shell that should be very cold came out at room temperature. Hubby ate one before realizing. I'm amazed this didn't result in food poisoning. That was bad enough, but the crowning problem was that no one seemed alarmed by the situation. They said sorry and sent out a replacement plate of oysters, but there was no deep remorse or comped meal as I think would be appropriate upon realizing you could have signed up a customer for a day or two of terrible intestinal distress. The rest of the food has been reasonably good, but not so good to take this kind of risk again. We were out there again recently, but couldn't bring ourselves to stop by. Keeping live shellfish cold is pretty basic health code stuff. We won't be giving them another shot.

Great oysters. For shooters it's a great price everything else - way over rated. The service was all over. They were training a newer older lady and she was seating people that just walked in instead of those that were waiting. So it was a little frustrating, but I'm sure they'll work it out. I drove out of the way to try this place and while the shooters were good...I wouldn't make a special trip again.

I went there one morning with a girlfriend for breakfast. I will say that you have to "brave" walking through the "tunnel of residual smoke " BUT, it was worth it. I really enjoyed my Spinach, Mushroom and Cheese Omelet. The Service was friendly and fast. For atmosphere am- well, we were the only girls there while I believe there were several "regulars" at the bar having a cup of coffee or whatever . The gentlemen were very nice and it was great for an older "girls" EGO.

Best dive bar on the coast! Oyster shooters, chicken fried steak, and Bloody Mary's- could you ask for more?
