Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar

We had a fantastic experience! The raw oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious, and the Mahi tacos were absolutely mouthwatering. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was top notch. The staff and waiters were amazing friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great seafood dining experience!

We bought some big, beautiful head-on shrimp, blue crabs, and some fry mix. Prices were great. Sue, the owner is amazing! So helpful and sweet! She fixed us some soft shell crabs, which we'd never had before and they were fantastic! A new favorite for us. We gave her multiple hugs and had to get a picture with her! 100% recommend this place, Sue and her "fishmonger supreme", Daryl!

Loves my first visit to this place. The service was impeccable. I arrived one late afternoon with pasta and seafood on my tastebuds. Was happy to find this place catered to both. It was a warm and humid day but I sat outside anyway and enjoyed watching the passerby’s. The waitress was EXCELLENT! She even confirmed I wanted water with my drink order which has been a rarity in my experience with ilm restaurants. I had the Ceviche appetizer. The pineapples were very fresh and sweet but the overall taste lacked seasoning/flavor. I visit the islands often and have this so I admit to. Ring a bit of a Ceviche snob as I’m used to that fishy taste melded with the cilantro and seasonings. I finished it without a drop left so not too bad just disappointed. My main entree was Blackened Shrimp Alfredo. Again everything tasted fresh but the flavor was lacking. I had left overs the next day and it seems there was more seasoning. Good, but not the greatest. I included the Key Lime Pie for dessert. My biggest complaint here is that the portion was not big enough. It was great! I will definitely visit again and try more of the seafood on the menu.

What an awesome meal at Shuckin Shack tonite. The Charbroiled Oysters were cooked to perfection with melted cheese covering the shell. The raw oysters were fresh, chilled, and came with plenty of cocktail sauce, horseradish and a lemon slice. Add a Tropical Lightening and you’ve got a great start to the evening!

Had a fantastic time! Seafood was fresh, beers were cold, service was great! All around a great time was had! Lexi did a great job serving us! The hostess was nice and very friendly also!

Came in on a Friday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy. We were seated immediately. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was delicious! We had ordered the lobster roll with coleslaw and hushpuppies, and the clam strips with sausage and potatoes. They have some good daily deals. Definitely should give it a try.

We brought a group of 25 guests in on short notice and the ladies at the Shuckin Shack made it happen! These may have been the best Oysters I’ve ever had. Not only that, but the service was top notch. The manager Jill accommodated us and continuously checked on us throughout the night. Servers Makena and Lexi were the best! We never had to wait for drinks and we felt so welcomed. Thanks for a an amazing night out! I can’t recommend this place enough- A must when in Wilmington, NC We’ll be back! Tim

Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar is a great spot for a casual seafood lunch or dinner. This small storefront in downtown has a sports bar atmosphere with plenty of TVs to keep you entertained while you enjoy your meal. The seafood was fresh and delicious, and the portions were filling. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. If you're looking for a satisfying seafood meal, Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar is definitely worth a visit.
