My wife & I stayed here on our travels through Myanmar in March. Our check in date was 10/03/19 & checked out 13/03/19. The entrance to the hotel is to the side under cover & the the luggage handlers were all to keen to carry our bags in. Met with the usual fruit drink (cold) which on the day was very nice as it was climbing past 38 Deg C when we arrived. Check in was smooth as we had vouchers as part of out private tour operations. Usual Passport scan & they were handed back. Escorted up to our room & the facilities were adequate. All I ask in a room are three things in SE ASIA: A/C Cold-yes, Hot water-yes & Fridge cold-yes. The rest really is minor as most of the day you're out and about anyway. Room is quite large in comparison to usual size & the bathroom is bigger too. There is a in room safe, TV, WiFi is good, Bed is standard Asia offering (firm to hard), floor not to slippery in Bathroom after shower. || Elevator was a little bit on the slow side sometimes but for a large hotel like this it has only one so just be patient. Breakfast is a standard type with both Asian & Western choices available. I spotted the coffee machine on the first morning of breakfast & asked if I could pay for a coffee & it was not problem to the staff. it was all good until they ran out of beans on the last morning. oh well, two out of three aint bad. We had two dinner meals there over our stay & they where fabulous. They even let us have a table out on the balcony of the restaurant & while we dined the sun went down over Mandalay City. They are building a roof top bar set up on the roof of the hotel & when that is operational. It will be a great place to sit up there & have a few drinks. The roof top has stunning views of the city & surroundings. We had a free day on our last day there & hailing a tuk tuk to the main market was easy. In the the afternoon I used the Spa facilities & had an Awesome Thai body massage & foot massage. All the staff were very helpful & any requests where met with "can do" attitude. The restaurant staff did an excellent job attending to our meal requests. As all mentioned above, the hotel & staff do a really good job.

We were pleasantly surprised at the size, cleanliness and overall quality of our room here. For the rate, it is a great value. The staff are very friendly and the location (right across from the train station) is quite central and makes it easy to tell taxi and tuk-tuk drivers where to take you. The breakfast wasn’t great, but still plenty of choice and healthy (eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereals, breads and a range of Myanmar cooked dishes). A great place to call home while in Mandalay.

Stayed here for two nights, on two separate occasions. Lovely quiet Hotel, with the exception of a little traffic noise, but then that is to be expected as it is in Central Mandalay. Nice clean rooms. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Has a good breakfast buffet. Convenient location for sightseeing and visiting local shops, the railway station and the markets. Booking on line gets you a cheaper price than just turning up and booking a room. Would stay there again 😀

We get free upgrade to our room and it's superb. Comfy, clean and spacious. Like the interior design and room planning. Didn't get the chance to have proper breakfast there but the bread they gave us to eat on our way is nice. Much appreciated.

We stayed only 2 nights here. Our room was spacious with a big hard and surprisingly comfy bed and pillows. We slept soundly on both nights and were only on floor 4 next to the busy road, but we couldn't hear it. I give this hotel only 3 out of 5 because when we checked-in the receptionist was grumpy, the room wasn't thoroughly clean and breakfast was disappointing. If I returned to this city I'd stay elsewhere, somewhere that has a good restaurant because there aren't that many good clean restaurants in this city.

We stayed for one night coming from the Shan State en route to Bagan. The first room they offered was a smokers room which a loot of parfume applied too very the smell. We got another room without any discussion which was far more better, clean and huge, so nothing to complain here. However the hotel lacks any atmosphere. The breakfast is definitely on the downside - very poor. There are better hotels in Mandalay.

I stayed for 4 nights in November.||I had a large and spacious room. The bed was nice and comfortable, excellent pillows! The bathroom needs updating and the shower was cold 2 out the 4 times I used it.||The staff were very friendly and helpful.||The breakfast was ok, but limited in choice, I think it was geared more towards the Asian clientele.

The staffs are very friendly and polite. The room are clean but lighting is a bit on the darker theme. Breakfast is good but would like to see a bit more Myanmar traditional breakfast as most of the breakfast item are Chinese and European. Overall I had a great stay with my family.
