Si Como No Resort, Spa & Wildlife Refuge

This hotel was superb. The location and setting is gorgeous, our room has a balcony with incredible views of the forest and the sea. The first time we stepped on to the balcony we saw a sloth! Macaws, toucans and squirrel monkeys were also spotted frequently. ||The rooms were excellent but what made this hotel stand out was the service. Each member of staff went above and beyond- they couldn’t do enough to help. Nelson and hector our pool side bar attenders get a particularly shout out! Would love to go back - we liked it so much we extended our stay there.

We had a great day here the staff were super friendly. The views were magnificent. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, and the food was great. In another review, I saw someone complained about breakfast…our breakfast was spectacular. So many good breakfast choices. I highly recommend the piña colada’s by the pool. Probably the friendliest staff I have ever experienced in a hotel.

We had a wonderful time at Si Como No Resort. By far the friendliness of the staff far exceeded our expectations. Everyone we encountered was helpful. When we arrived, four macaws soared over us and we had a sloth in the tree next to our room. The food was delicious. The welcome drink and fresh juice was tasty too. The room was clean and daily serviced. The view was spectacular.

Omar from the restaurant showed us the pool area with an amazing view of the ocean and introduced us to Franklin at the bar who made a delicious drink that we enjoyed while watching the macaws fly overhead. We had fun taking photos and laughing at our silly posing antics. We will definitely return for food and more drinks. Top notch.

My husband and I loved Si Como No so much, and it was our first time going to Costa Rica! We loved the ocean view from our bedroom, and the fact that our room was clean! The bed was HEAVENLY, and feels like you’re sleeping on a cloud! They gave us two umbrellas to use while in Costa Rica because rain can randomly come down heavy. The plastic laundry bag is very thoughtful for any used clothes being kept separate from the clean ones. There’s always fresh fruit juice at the front desk, which always tastes delicious.The front desk representatives were very helpful, especially Chris! He was very informative, accommodating, helpful, and thoughtful! He made our stay easygoing and always greeted us with a bright smile! Would definitely recommend him for a raise! The breakfast there was very delicious! The buffet, specialty items on the menu, fruits, and desserts at the hotel’s restaurant definitely had me smiling and quite pleased! Overall, a great experience and I would recommend this place to anyone going to Costa Rica!

Si Como No, is unbeatable. Omar, Marcos, Alexander, and so, so many others took remarkable care of us during our stay and we wish we could stay longer largely because of the amazing staff. The rooms and all facilities throughout were incredibly clean. We took a cooking class where Juana taught us to make empanadas (including our 4 and 6 year old) and we had an incredible time. The empanadas were great and the kids were excited to participate and want to make them when we get home. There are other fun classes and events like salsa dancing, yoga, mixology, movie nights in the movie theater, and live music. Such a fun place and we are so grateful to have had the chance to stay here. Both restaurants we went to have delicious food and incredible staff. Everyone is attentive, patient, kind, and great with kids. Each restaurant at this resort made us feel welcome and in no rush to get in and out.

We loved our stay at Si Como No! There is not a bad place to sit in the entire resort (stunning views, beautiful grounds, and wildlife everywhere). The rooms are well equipped and include a safe (which I highly recommend placing all valuables). The activities were legit and run by experts. The breakfast was delicious with many offerings and the restaurant was high quality. Service was excellent and the wonderful staff made our experience amazing, especially Marco, Nelson, and Omar who we felt were the super stars in this establishment. Loved this hotel! Peace of heaven (in an otherwise very busy and loud place) in a natural wildlife reserve where you can spot toucans monkeys and heaps of birds straight from your room! Two pools, a family one with super slide for kiddos and an adult one (for everyone 🙃)! Breakfast if great and has all the views over the reserve! Rooms are great, balconies overlook the reserve, they’re spacious and super clean!! And I loved how soft and scented the towels and bedsheets were! The -1 star for me goes to prices - like why charge so much for drinks, food and souvenirs. We’re guests who are ready paying for the accommodation so why super charge for things 🤓🥸 people would be more prone to enjoying stuff on the spot if things were priced a bit more ‘mindfully’… other than that great experience!!
