Came here for lunch on a Monday during Ramadan. Only one other family there. Staff was friendly and classy. We were two adults and two children 9 and 6. We ordered the 9 Moroccan salads and the veal tagine. We wanted the lamb tagine but it wasn’t ready (requires prep time). The 9 salads were well prepared and flavorful. Some were savory, some were salty, some were sour and some were sweet. There is probably something for everyone. You can taste the clove and cinnamon in some of the sweet ones. The bread was fresh out of the oven and delicious. There was excellent fresh olive oil but we asked for argan oil since we heard so much about it when reading about Morocco and never tried it. The argan oil was amazing. It lacked the complexity of olive oil but it had a buttery mouthfeel that made the olive oil feel like water in your mouth by comparison. The veal tagine was fantastic. Well seasoned. The bone had a massive piece of succulent marrow. Our kids ate every bite of the tagine with us. We ordered the local Tempranillo and it was excellent. Medium bodied and peppery. Complimented the veal perfectly. They brought us mint tea during the check and it was the best mint tea we’ve had. This is the best food we’ve had in Morocco. (Lived in India, Nepal, Germany, Korea, US, tried every kind of food).
