Where to Eat, Drink, and Stay in Marrakech Right Now

"A restaurant within the riad that serves an epic breakfast of homemade yogurt, fresh juices, and airy baghrir drenched in honey, and by night becomes a casually elegant dining spot; standout dishes include exceptionally fluffy, aromatic couscous and a beautifully presented makfoul lamb tagine." - Brian Freedman

It's a very nice place, quiet and calm. Food and service were great. We paid about 1000 MAD for foods and drinks for three of us.

Magical place, very nice riad, upscale service, cuisine was one of the best we had in Marrakesch. We can fully recommend this place!

One of the best restaurants in Marrakech. It is hidden from the main streets and this makes it a bit more isolated and calm (not a lot of tourists). The ambiance inside is lovely. The patio with unique architecture, calm music and beautifull light. It is the perfect spot to take a break from the crazy energy of Marrekech medina. The food was fairly priced but incredibly tasty. We found the mix of 9 morrocan salads incredibly tasy and creative.

10/10 - We came here today for a brunch for 20 people (which they last minute accommodated almost double!) I am already looking forward to coming back again Location & Setting: 😍 10/10 Food: So much variety and everything was so tasty (see pics) Service: I can’t overstate how kind, accommodating and professional the team were. They really went the extra mile with helping with crying babies to accommodating food allergies so that no one felt left out. A special thank you to Fatima, Omar, Amin, Said & Toufiq for their hard work and making the meal so special. If you’re looking for a delicious meal in a lovely environment then you’ve found your spot.

A gorgeous quiet little spot right in the medina! We had lamb tangia, which despite its simple appearance was the most delicious thing we have ever eaten. The servers were incredible, really adding to the whole experience. The selection of Moroccan wines was good too. We went twice in our week holiday which is a great sign, and would return! I’d recommend booking but this can be done day of if it’s not a very busy period.

Restaurant Angsana Si Said offers a delightful fusion of Moroccan & Asian flavors in a romantic courtyard setting. Live music, attentive service, & beautiful plating make for an unforgettable experience. Assorted starters & Green Curry are must-try dishes. A gem in Marrakech that exceeds expectations.

Came here for lunch on a Monday during Ramadan. Only one other family there. Staff was friendly and classy. We were two adults and two children 9 and 6. We ordered the 9 Moroccan salads and the veal tagine. We wanted the lamb tagine but it wasn’t ready (requires prep time). The 9 salads were well prepared and flavorful. Some were savory, some were salty, some were sour and some were sweet. There is probably something for everyone. You can taste the clove and cinnamon in some of the sweet ones. The bread was fresh out of the oven and delicious. There was excellent fresh olive oil but we asked for argan oil since we heard so much about it when reading about Morocco and never tried it. The argan oil was amazing. It lacked the complexity of olive oil but it had a buttery mouthfeel that made the olive oil feel like water in your mouth by comparison. The veal tagine was fantastic. Well seasoned. The bone had a massive piece of succulent marrow. Our kids ate every bite of the tagine with us. We ordered the local Tempranillo and it was excellent. Medium bodied and peppery. Complimented the veal perfectly. They brought us mint tea during the check and it was the best mint tea we’ve had. This is the best food we’ve had in Morocco. (Lived in India, Nepal, Germany, Korea, US, tried every kind of food).

Exceptional food and service! We came in for my friend’s birthday dinner and, even though we didn’t book in advance, they made it into a very special evening for her and a great memory for all of us. The lamb tanjia is a must try. Our waiter Fatima was an absolute sweetheart and very accommodating.
