Food was delicious. Summer rolls cool and refreshing, papaya salad a must, wow, Basil with crispy pork. I love thai basil and this didn't disappoint. Service was out standing. I ate early 5pm, missed the crowd.

I went with a friend who is local and had a chance to meet to the owner. She was very pleasant and welcoming. We ordered 3 dishes two of which was very good. The third I didn't care for, but was my friend's favorite. Specifically we had Basil crispy pork. The flavor was great but I had to remind them that the crispy pork was not crispy and they happy fixed it. The second dish was a fish dish. They are on the 2nd floor and has a nice view of the street and a very easy walk from the beach. The restaurant is clean. Would I go back? Yes!

Google
This was excellent Thai food at a reasonable price here in Honolulu. Maybe a five minute walk from some of the major hotels. The space is up one flight of stairs, and they appear to do a good amount of business on pickup. They provide 4 types of spices to augment the spice level. I still wish it was spicier. Maybe most importantly, they have more vegetarian options than they show on the menu. Everything is available with tofu/veg, and they were great about pointing out what has hidden ingredients like fish sauce.

I won’t be coming back to this place. I had the yellow curry with shrimp — the food was decent. But when it came time to pay, they added taxes and fees and just handed me the total. I thought tipping was up to the customer, but apparently not in their view.

Google
Pineapple curry and the chicken fried rice were so delicious! Staff was very nice and accommodating. Location very walkable. Would definitely come back.

Attention🔥 This restaurant engages in fraudulent behavior! The staff deducts tips for themselves by quickly selecting the amount on the payment terminal without giving customers the chance to choose on their own. I am very, very disappointed—my evening was ruined. Because of this, I cannot give this place a good rating! Yesterday, we dined at this establishment for the first time. Everything was decent—good food and acceptable service. At the end of our meal, we were given the bill. We took it to the reception desk to pay. The staff took the bill from us, and the waitress quickly inserted the card into the terminal. Without asking, she selected the tip amount that suited her, confirmed the payment, and walked away without saying anything. We stood there waiting for the receipt. There was a man behind the reception desk, but he also left quickly. At that moment, we didn’t fully understand what had happened. Initially, we had brought cash to leave a tip, but when we got home, we realized we had been scammed—they charged us twice for the tip. Be cautious of this place, as they likely use this trick on all their customers. It’s extremely dishonest and disappointing.

Google
Best Pad Thai we've had in Waikiki. The walk up the stairs is worth it for the food quality and friendly service in a very simple and utilitarian setting. The Pad Thai was very flavourful (NOT overwhelmed by peanuts). The green Thai Curry had a nice depth of flavour that matched nicely with the jasmine rice.

Google
Some of the best Thai food I've had! We ordered the Thai style chow fun noodles in beef and chicken, stir fried "long rice" noodles and the fried garlic beef with spring rolls to start. Huge portions, great flavor, fast service. The noodles in both dishes were excellent. Highly recommend this place and we will be back!!

Yelp
If you like authentic Thai spicy food this is your spot. We've been here numerous times for spicy Thai (sometimes for take out) but always forget to leave a review because we are too busy slipping into our food coma. The pad Thai, papaya salad, rice and Thai noodle soup is amazing. It's a smaller, local spot and worth a visit if you're near Waikiki.

Yelp
My mom and I were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice, quaint restaurant for Thai food in Waikiki! Tucked away just off the strip, up a small flight of stairs is Siam Square, right across the street from the Courtyard Marriott and Kitty-corner from IHOP. They had a fair amount of business when we got there, but fortunately a couple had just left as we were stepping in, so the staff cleared the table and had us seated moments later. It's a slightly small space for the amount of tables they set up, but as good as their food and service is, I can understand why they should try and accommodate a few more spots for diners. They allow for some choice on spice levels, which is great! My mom isn't big on spice, so we tried to go for mild dishes. Her first choice though, comes at a "medium'ish" base spice, as the server mentioned that the way to develop the soup cannot be completely removed from spice, so we had to pivot as my mom was hungry and didn't want to struggle with more spice than she can comfortably handle. That was okay though, and we appreciate the server giving us that warning! We landed on the cashew stir fry with chicken (one of my baseline dishes for a Thai restaurant) and basil stir fry with ground pork, alongside brown rice. Both dishes were delicious! Served hot out of the kitchen, both dishes had a lot of flavor without being salty, a good mix of meat vegetables to give it texture and taste, and a good portion of each to satisfy our hunger and take a little extra home. I hope to come back and enjoy more of their delicious food and welcoming service... and hopefully to remember to take pictures next time! It smelled so delicious and we were so hungry that I didn't think about it and we just dove into the food, haha! A good sign in its own right!

Yelp
Have been coming here for many years, and the food and service never disappoint. While I used to dine here pre-Covid, I only do take-out now. The dining space is charming and clean, and if you get a window seat, offers a nice view of the Kūhiō street hub bub below (restaurant is on the second floor). My favorite dishes are pictured: Yellow Curry and Pad Kee Mao. You can choose your protein for these dishes. I like the curry with pork and the noodles with beef. The portions of meat, starch, and vegetable (crunchy broccoli, not soggy...yay!) are well-balanced in both dishes, as are the spices and flavors. You can specifically spice level for most dishes. I prefer my food at medium. Enjoy a lovely and satisfying meal from Siam Square today!

Yelp
Pretty solid Thai in Waikiki. Tried the Nam Tok, drunken noodles, tom yum, and Thai "pho." The Nam tok was well seasoned, beef was tender. Drunken noodles had great flavor. Tom yum was ok. Thai pho was not great. Overall good experience. Service was quick and friendly.

Yelp
What a cool spot we found last night and a hidden gem from sure...nestled above some other shops and in between a couple hotels is Siam Square Thai. Inside the restaurant is quaint, but very clean and all the staff here is super friendly and nice! For food we had the Pad Thai, Pork Thai Rice and Yellow Curry all medium sliced. Everything was delicious! Servings were all decent sized and all enough for some leftovers for today. I would for sure go back and would definitely recommend anyone visiting looking for something different giving this a try! You are in Hawaii please don't go to a chain restraint Eat Local!

Yelp
Delicious Thai food in Waikiki. Located upstairs next to a gay bar. You have to go up the stairs and the place is tight so it doesn't seem to be wheelchair friendly. They can be pretty busy on the weekends. Good to call ahead to reserve a table if you can. There were people waiting outside for a table when we left around 8:30pm on a Saturday. The restaurant is pretty small. Must order their Tom yum soup with great balanced flavor - savory, sweet, sour, spicy, salty... we also enjoyed their larb and seafood fried rice. The pad Thai was decent but not the best. We wouldn't order their pork satay again. Even though the satay sauce was delish, the pork was dry and rough. If you're in Waikiki and craving some Thai food, a very decent spot to get your Thai fix!

Yelp
This is our favorite Thai restaurant on Oahu. We have been going here off and on for the past 10 years. The food is always delicious served in a pleasant smaller atmosphere. If you are fortunate you can sometimes sit along the area with the windows overlooking Kuhio watching the world go by. Take out is always an option. The service is friendly and efficient. On our last trip to Oahu we ate here twice in the space of two weeks. Their curries are especially delicious; make sure you order the sticky rice to go with the curry. The green papaya salad is a favorite as well. Don't miss Siam Square. Upstairs at the corner of Kuhio and Lewers.

Yelp
Local Thai small dinning area above an ABC store. Service was fast and they all were sweet. Food was ok but just was disappointed on quality, I ordered the seafood coconut soup and had to take so many pieces out because I just couldn't chew them , but the broth was to die for. My daughter loved her chicken pad Thai. The fish tasted like pre-frozen fish, covered up by extreme garlic overload. I think we will have to go back and try it again to give them another chance, it was just off today.

Yelp
Delicious food. Been there a dozen times and always great food. Wonderful staff too. Love the fish cakes.

Yelp
I ordered the Basil with for $22.59. When I received the container that it came in, it was half-full. I contacted the restaurant and asked why the order was so small for that price. The manager, Solo, said that "when you order for delivery you pay more, but if you order directly from us, you pay $19.00." I then asked her how is it possible that I would pay more for a delivered order and get less food for that price? She could not answer. With the prices for everything being so high in Hawaii, the last thing I want to do is pay a business for a service and be shortchanged in the process.

Yelp
I had the pineapple red curry chicken with a side of rice. The curry was excellent, was somewhat mild to my taste, but it came with plenty of good stuff inside of it. It was enough for me to take half of it home to enjoy tomorrow. I didn't see an option to make it any spicier so I left it as is. Next time I think I would want to have a little heat in it. I love pineapples so there was a lot of pineapple chunks in there and the amount of chicken was very respectful. We plan on going back and I'd like to try one or two other dishes before we leave the island.

Yelp
Located in the hustle and bustle of Waikiki Beach. Snag a table if you're in the mood for Thai food because this place has a great menu offering rice plates, noodle specialties, salads, curries, fish entrees, soups, and much more. I tried the following from the menu -- * Pineapple Curry (Gaeng Sapparot) Spicy red coconut curry accented with pineapple chunks. Prepared mild, medium or spicy with your choice of meat. * Fried Fish Patties (Tod Mun Pla) Boneless minced fish mixed with Thai spices, onions, lime leaves, and long beans. Deep-fried and served with sweet and sour dipping sauce Not bad with the spices and seasonings. It's impressive when a restaurant smacked down in the middle of a huge touristy area can still put out good food. These guys don't lose points on service neither. Would recommend!

Yelp
Came to this restaurant because we thought it was cool to see a Thai restaurant located upstairs rather than ground floor. Many things fascinates me ‍ it's a cute little restaurant with the usual Thai decor. We were greeted at the door and thankfully it wasn't busy yet so we were seated right away. The service was good and loved how friendly they were. Because this restaurant is located in Waikiki, I lowered my standards and had low expectations when it came to the food. However, it was amazing and the fish patties were my favorite. It tasted just like how my mom makes it and it hit a nerve for me because she's no longer here. Everything else was really amazing, as well! Highly recommend this place and the fish patties!

Yelp
Another one of our go to spots when we're in Waikiki. Craving some Thai food, come and check Out Siam Square. You will really like the service that's provided by the staff always smiling and comes around often to make sure you're okay. Best of all it's conveniently located near the Waikiki strip and not from the beach! The fried chicken is always good. Yum woon sen is flavorful and refreshing! Always nice to have a dish like that when it's hot out. We tried the yellow curry with chicken there as well and that's pretty good too! I can't find the name of this dish with the egg and ground chicken under it, but that was pretty good too.

Yelp
They are on Ubereats now!! And my review has not changed! I went with my friend the other weekend. He was in Thailand for a couple months this year and he loved every dish. We'll be back!
google avatar

Yelp
So I just got the Pad Thai to go as a sort of test of this place. It's pricey about $18 for chicken pad thai but the portion size was good. Lots of chicken, ground peanuts and bean sprouts. I asked for it hot (not thai hot) and it was perfectly spicy. The only issue I had was that some of the tofu didn't taste very fresh. I will likely try it again when in the mood for thai food but please fresh tofu!

Yelp
Excellent food and service! Vegan and vegetarian friendly!! We would come back in few days!

Yelp
This place is located right in the heart bustle and hustle area of Waikiki. There's really no parking so good luck. We walked from our hotel across the street. Not only was the food not good but the workers are also rude. Pick a struggle! We walked in at 9pm. It was empty inside. There were some people in and out but picking up orders or for delivery services. I asked if they were still open since it looked like they were closing. They saw my party of 4 and looker at me, looked at each other, kept calculating receipts, and kept packing food. I'm thinking umm is anyone going to answer me or if you're closed then just say that! After 2 minutes they finally muttered "dine in or takeout?" After I told them take out they were more inclined to take my order. Seemed like they didn't want to take us if we dined in and if they did, we would be rushed. I placed my order and asked what time they close. They said 10pm but 9:30pm the kitchen closes. I'm thinking okay I don't know what the huge issue was I'm ordering take out anyway and ordered way before the kitchen closes. Once I ordered (9:05pm) they started taking out the trash and turning off their "open" signage. They just wanted to go home early since it's probably not their mom or dad's shop. We ordered 5 dishes and it was so expensive it came out to over $100. Waste of money it wasn't even good. We ordered angel wings, crying tiger beef, drunken noodles, lime fish over rice, stir fry morning glory, and Thai Tea. The drunken noodles were nasty and had no flavor. They didn't even add soy sauce when they packed. The angel wings came with 2 wings and 2 drums for $18! Don't waste your money here they're rude and the food is too expensive and not even good.

Yelp
This restaurant satisfied the needs of wanting noodles but I would say it's pretty mid. Pad see ew noodles seemed to be a little more cooked or mushy. Spice levels were good tho. They can bring you a spice tray with 4 types of peppers too to adjust as you want. I also got the ong choy because it seems like there's no veggies around to eat in Waikiki! Wish it had more of the veggies than meat. It has a nice umami flavor and definitely has msg-yum! Make sure you order a side of rice for the gravy too. Parking as usual will be very hard. No wait for a group of 7 people on a Friday night around 6:30 PM.
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
Came at 9.10 pm and they only do take out even when close time is 10:00. What a shame! It's silly, they should update hrs then and make it Togo after 9:00 pm.

Yelp
Small business in a rook that i just so happened to find walking! Pretty set up and beautiful pictures showing Thai culture. I only got the mango sticky rice, it was delicious! Wasn't too sweet and was fresh
google avatar

Anu U.

Yelp
Chat gpt recommended this as the best Thai food in Honolulu. Disappointed. We picked Evil curry (3/5) based on other people's review, and it ended up being very average, and drunken noodles (4.5/5) which was pretty good and mango sticky rice which was very disappointing 2/5.. rice seemed undercooked and it wasn't the right texture. Eat at Rangoon Burmese restaurant instead in downtown Honolulu, amazing food there.

Nikki L.

Yelp
My friend raved about this place. I was not impressed. The papaya salad was not good. We made 3 orders and shared among 14 ladies...and we tossed 2 orders. That should tell you something. I was really excited about the laab, but they don't make it raw. Nothing special about the laab. The pad thai was good though! Not dry, and had lots of flavor.
google avatar

Daria B.

Yelp
Food is delicious, very similar to what we have had in Thailand. It is definitely worth trying!

Yelp
As we were walking down Kuhio ave looking for something to eat, we noticed a neon "Thai food" sign on the second floor of a building, above an ABC store. We're so glad we stopped here! Service was stellar...all of them were very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Both the chicken pad Thai and the beef fried rice were excellent, but the absolute star of the show was the thai fried chicken appetizer...it was just literally perfection. Pieces of super crispy chicken and skin, served with sweet chili sauce. We didn't eat a ton while we were there, but we DEVOURED it as soon as we got back to the room! They even gave me a to go cup for the rest of my iced coffee. Seriously, check this place out. I'd come back to Oahu just to eat here again!

Christopher M.

Yelp
The food was delicious hence the rating, but the pricing is meant to deceive you. All the entrees are $16.99 or $18.99 depending on meat, but à la carte items are also $16.99 or $18.99 EXCEPT they don't come with rice, which is $2.50 extra. So you'll spend $19.49 for the EXACT same amount of food you'd get if you just ordered a rice or noodles dish. And all the à la carte items are very standard for Thai restaurants and always come with rice. It's bad business if you ask me. Very sneaky. Anyway, if management reads this, à la carte items should be $14.99!!!

Yelp
We went here for dinner on the first day in Waikiki because it was conveniently located within walking distance from our hotel. Like the previous post mentioned, you need to go up a flight of stairs to get to this restaurant. This place has a nice ambiance. The seafood Tom Yum soup was very tasty and flavorful. We can see the ingredients like lemongrass and lemon leaves that they put in this soup which made it so good. The other items we ordered were the Pad See Ew (shrimp) and the fried rice (beef) and these were good as well. I would recommend this for anyone visiting Waikiki and in the mood for Thai food.
google avatar

Andreza F.

Yelp
The food is very fresh and delicious. I had this kind of pad Thai and my husband had the original version of pad Thai, both meals were amazing!
google avatar

Erica H.

Yelp
Great Thai spot on Lewers off Kuhio Ave. Stairs walk-up, although there appears to be an elevator for Baccus, and they probably don't mind if you need to use it. We went for a late lunch and only ordered appetizers and dessert! It was very tasty. Can't wait to return for the curry options. Casual. Keiki friendly. Beer, wine, cocktails. Parking, not sure where you may park since we walked over from a neighboring hotel. Great prices. Super friendly service, very welcoming, attentive, and helpful.
google avatar

Kim B.

Yelp
Same favorite restaurant as the one on Nimitz!! I knew it. The taste was the same and the flavors were on point. Grabbed summer rolls, calamari, drunken noodles, fried chicken. I think my favorite was the fried chicken (juicy) and my Singha cold beer. Lol Everything came out quickly. We went at 5 pm since I didn't know how many people would get there. The place isn't too big but it does have a few tables. Get there early and you can get a window seat! The servers are nice and patient and the food comes out quick! Make sure to let them know how spicy you want it. The atmosphere is calm and chill even if it's in the heart or bustling Waikiki. It was nice and chill. Come early and it doesn't get so packed. When we were leaving around 6:30 it starts to fill up. Being in Waikiki there were almost all tourist.
google avatar

Kalina S.

Yelp
Had the chicken pad Thai medium spicy and it was so good! Beyond impressed with the service- everyone was very nice. The restaurant is on the second floor above an ABC store, which gives it a "hidden gem" kind of vibe. Definitely recommend if you are looking for Thai food!

Yelp
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER at a restaurant Waitress lied about the Owner, even when I asked to speak to her..."She's not answering phone, must be in restroom." DO NOT EAT HERE!!! We were a party of 7 spending several hundred dollars and one meal was not up to par...Waitress made it out to be our fault and even said "I will have to pay if you don't." THATS EITHER A LIE OR TOTALLY A MANAGEMENT PLOY I asked to speak to the Owner but was told "She's not answering her phone...must be in restroom." DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU GUARANTEE YOUR ORDER IS CORRECT - THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR OFFERINGS. Please check my other reviews to understand how upset I am about this...you will also see my posts on other platforms (highly unusual for me).

Yelp
We always love SS whenever we stay in Honolulu. It's very authentic Thai, and the place is cosy. Parking is tricky of course but not impossible. The pad kee mao, tom kha soup, gai gra pow, green curry, fish cakes are all our go to orders. And they're all very good and big portions but I'm sure other dishes are good too. The servers are very nice and always accommodating. But beware it's very popular so try to reserve a table ahead or else you might have to wait during peak hours.
google avatar

DeAnne V.

Yelp
Cute upstairs restaurant right near our hotel. We were seated promptly and orders taken within a few minutes of arriving by friendly waitstaff. Every employee we saw was hustling and eager to help customers. We ordered two spring roll appetizers and inhaled them immediately. They were piping hot and deliciously crunchy. Most of our party ordered "mild" dishes (pad Thai, ginger chicken, beef Pho) and found them to have very little if no heat, as they hoped. I ordered medium heat in my green curry and found the heat pleasant and not overpowering. Just enough to enhance the flavor and make my nose run a little. The portions are large so come hungry or be prepared to take some to go. It should be noted that they use peanuts in a lot of their dishes so be aware of you have allergies.

Keith R.

Yelp
What a great find!. My friend who lives in Honolulu recommended this place. Great options, taste, and portion size Staff was very friendly as well Very casual dining
google avatar

Kelly L.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and were seated quickly. We ordered the pad Thai, pad kee mao, and eggplant chicken with Thai teas. Food came out in about 10 minutes. We asked for Thai spicy for the papaya salad and our lips and tongues were burning, so good we love spicy :) but be warned don't order spicy if you can't handle it. Other two dishes were good but I wished they used bigger pieces of chicken instead of ground chicken in both dishes (why I removed 1 star). If you're looking for a Thai place for dinner that's quick and yummy, I'd recommend coming here, and careful with the spice!
google avatar

Hala I.

Yelp
Amazing food, amazing service (especially our server Som-o she was costumer service friendly and very welcoming) Must try for dine in or take out. We ordered what was pictured and absolutely incredible with great flavor. Can ask for it medium, mild or spicy! You can order takeout Which is what I did and it was done in 20 mins. They don't deliver but a quick walk from the major hotel strip in Waikiki beach.
google avatar

Jaynie C.

Yelp
Food was great. And quick. Loved every second of it. Ordered the spring rolls, the pad Thai, and fried rice.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
We ate here 10 years ago/ so good! Ate there today, Friday, October 18, 2024. Still awesome! Great service and the shrimp pad Thai was great! Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Siam Square is some of the best Thai food I've eaten so far on the island. Their Pad Thai is some of the best (if not THE best) I have ever had. They're chicken is really tasty and I love the curry. Parking can be a bit tricky here so I usually take my food to go and park out front with my hazards on.

Roy B.

Yelp
The food is good, as long as you don't get rotten, moldy vegetables. The broccoli is always yellow. The tomatoes are never fresh. Do you like the taste of mold? well place your order today! Grab a papaya salad, you won't be disappointed, moldy old and I live on Big Island sometimes I am in Waikiki. I have tried them over the years, hoping they make a change, and have had the same experience. To top it all off, they don't give you a refund and make you Return to the store with the food. Which may not be a problem if you live around the block, but if you're a couple miles away, and hungry, it's a big deal. Never have I experienced that from a restaurant before. Horrible customer service they know what they're doing using old, nasty yucky vegetables When you enter the ambiance is off you can sense something scammy cheap and shady going on.
google avatar

Cheyenne T.

Yelp
Pretty good Thai food compared to mainland restaurants. The staff are Thai so the flavors are quite authentic. The service was very accommodating for our large group and even allowed us to change our order a few times. Would recommend the Tom yum soup, drunken noodle, and green curry.
google avatar

Matthew P.

Yelp
Our first stop after arriving in Honolulu was to grab a bite to eat and we were recommended to try out Siam Square. A warm and welcome environment with a friendly staff who wants to make sure we are enjoying our experience. The food was tantalizing and a welcome change of pace from our usual food choices. Definitely a location we will keep in mind with our next visit.
google avatar

Liz G.

Yelp
Staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the spring rolls and the pad Thai was good. The tables were packed in but it didn't feel over crowded.
google avatar

Yelp
Very authentic and tasty Thai food! I rarely have Thai food but this was so delicious and good sized portions! Very busy but died down during closing. Definitely a must try!
google avatar

Anrana S.

Yelp
Grabbed take out Thai food. Service was quick. Nice balcony to sit on while we waited for our food to be ready. Food was a little blander than what I'm used to. But still good. The Thai Iced Tea was some of the best I've ever had.
google avatar

Poonam S.

Yelp
Mediocre food and very highly priced. Ordered the Tom kha, pad Thai and yellow curry. The Tom kha soup was probably the best but still could be less salty. Pad Thai was extremely sweet. Yellow curry, again salty! Curries don't come with rice here so that was again extra. They added 15% gratuity and then asked me if it was Okay! What am I going to say!? Also they added 3% on top for using credit card. So the check was $70 for sub standard food and service.

Une J.

Yelp
One of the best Thai restaurant in town. I lived in Thailand a couple of years, so I can tell the food is authentic and service is excellent!! The restaurant used to have Kama'aina but not anymore and increase the price recently. If you pay by credit card, they charge you 3% of transaction fee.
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
This is the best thai place on the island. Went around the island going to different places, this is the one we have been going to for almost 20 years. They are fast, they are friendly, and prices are still reasonable. Just wish it wasn't in Waikiki.
