Siam Thai Infusion - Taupo

We originally came in just to grab a Thai iced tea to go, but while waiting, the amazing smell of the food and the incredibly friendly service made us change our minds and we decided to stay for a meal instead. My friend had the green curry and I ordered the Pad Thai. Both dishes were outstanding. The green curry was the best we’ve had since being in Thailand. The service was also exceptional. An absolute recommendation! It’s a pity we were only passing through otherwise we would definitely come back.

Ordered the 3 Taste Fish Fillet and it was so goodd. Tastes like the one i usually had back at my home country. The owner is also so nice. Fosho would come again

Perfect experience! It began with the most warm welcome and smile from the beautiful hostess (thank you for the loveliest service!), continued with extremely comforting and flavourful food from their chefs, and ended with the most kind goodnight from same hostess. Fiancé and I highly recommend the Keaw Sa and Money Bags for entrees; for mains, the Siam Roti and Panang Curry with crispy pork. The entrees and mains were served with great timing too!

Amazing and delicious red curry lamb shank. Not a fan of spice and this was hot for me though this was perfect. Tender meat, beautiful flavour combo. Will come back. Also Pad Thai was good. Staff were very accommodating.

Siam Thai is a lovely thai place in central Taupo. We ordered Chicken Satay, Spring Roll, Tom Yum, Pad See Ew, and Thai Milk Tea. Everything was great, and the service was topnotch. We will definitely come back here whenever we are in Taupo.

We are blown away with how impressive the customer service is here at Siam Thai, big beautiful smiles and grate team work. Clean tidy, place smells with delicious food. Our group of 10 people last night is very satisfied with all of the tasty meal. Lovely presentations good portion size and very beautiful little place. With Ellie’s help we manage to pre book the dishes we wanted so we could be done before 7pm for our show. Good customer skills and friendly staffs including chefs in the kitchen. Thankyou all so much we will se you again soon.

We have been asked to go to this place a few times so we finally did. We walked in and accidentally interrupted their lunch time. We apologized and said we could come back as tho we had interrupted, the lady made us feel as tho we were annoying. We sat down and got menus and asked if we would like to order in beautiful English well pronounced by the waitress We ordered Cream Wontons, which were put in microwave and brought out to table.. frozen :( we then went to tell the lady and saw the chef picking their nose. We asked to cancel our order, sadly i then had to explain many times why we wanted to cancel as all of a sudden the well pronounced English lady was lost in her translation and she couldnt understand* our requests. Neither of us recommend this place atm. The decor is in shabby condition and some love and time to care would go miles for this place and the customers. The customer service was one we dont wish to remember. We are people who are asked to reviews places in truth..here is our truth. We also own our own business so realise what it takes behind the scenes.may this review help you level up your game in such a beautiful town. Namaste

Delicious Thai food! It came out quickly and portions were pretty good - not huge, but enough to fill us for lunch. I enjoyed the chicken pad Thai while my husband loved his massaman curry with beef. Prices were reasonable at around NZ$22.

I found this on Yelp and decided to have lunch here. I was intrigued by the crispy noodles and ordered that. Unfortunately what the menu failed to mention is that it is not a plate of food, it's a bowl of soup. You'd think that might be worth mentioning but whoever wrote the menu decided against it. It was supposed to have chicken, prawns and scallops in it. I got exactly one scallop, and it was small; I got 2-3 prawns. I was disappointed with this and didn't really enjoy my lunch. As for the noodles, there were two kinds in my soup; only one was crispy, but it didn't stay that way for long. My wife enjoyed her pad Thai noodles, so if you go here, maybe get that.

Delicious food, and amazing rotis. Great prices too. Good service, and the food looked so pretty! If we lived locally, this would be our go-to Thai restaurant.

Went for lunch here based on a recommendation. Not disappointed! We had a couple starters, "Money Bag" + "Pag Tod". Very tasty and lots if vegies. Main was "Suki yaki hang". Noodles we're tender and the sauce was nice and spicy. Chicken and vegies were perfectly cooked. Very nice lunch
