Siam Thai Infusion - Taupo

Perfect experience! It began with the most warm welcome and smile from the beautiful hostess (thank you for the loveliest service!), continued with extremely comforting and flavourful food from their chefs, and ended with the most kind goodnight from same hostess. Fiancé and I highly recommend the Keaw Sa and Money Bags for entrees; for mains, the Siam Roti and Panang Curry with crispy pork. The entrees and mains were served with great timing too!

Siam Thai is a lovely thai place in central Taupo. We ordered Chicken Satay, Spring Roll, Tom Yum, Pad See Ew, and Thai Milk Tea. Everything was great, and the service was topnotch. We will definitely come back here whenever we are in Taupo.

Amazing and delicious red curry lamb shank. Not a fan of spice and this was hot for me though this was perfect. Tender meat, beautiful flavour combo. Will come back. Also Pad Thai was good. Staff were very accommodating.

If you want the best noodle soup, this is the place to come. So far I've tried the chicken, beef and dumpling noodle soup. The beef broth with rice noodles is one of the best I've ever had, the pork and prawn dumplings are delicious with the egg noodles. You will not go home hungry with generous amounts of meat and noodles. The desserts are also delicious, banana roti and ice cream is my favourite. Everyone has enjoyed all the other food including the Massaman lamb shank, and the cashew nut chicken. My favourite Thai restaurant, so good we went two nights in a row...

Absolutely exquisite food. Good service and good value.

The reviews and price seemed reasonable, so we decided to try this place during our stay in Taupo, but I have to say that we were a bit disappointed with the food. I ordered takeaway online. We were only given one small circular container of rice (when we ordered a green curry and a cashew and beef stir fry) and it was not obvious that rice was not included. We ended up making extra rice at home. I also politely asked for no onion in two places during the online order, but there was heaps of onion in the stir fry. If the dish can't be adjusted, then please don't offer the option of special requests for the meal. Furthermore the amount of beef and cashew stir fry in the container wasn't very generous, and the Pad Thai was a bit plain and bland... The green curry was pretty good, with good flavour and lots of chicken and veggies. But unfortunately the rest of the meal was a bit lack lustre.

Two of us went last night by their rating, staff was friendly, however food was quite disappointing. Pad Thai was overy sweet I had to add salt. Red curry was ordinary, but honestly the Roti bread size and taste was like kids play lunch. I should have checked review comments beforehand.

Nice Thai restaurant with lovely service and professional Thai food. Really like the Tom Yum Prawn soup , red curry beef and Pad Thai!!! Highly recommend to everyone and will be in my “must eat list” in Taupo 🥰🥰

Delicious Thai food! It came out quickly and portions were pretty good - not huge, but enough to fill us for lunch. I enjoyed the chicken pad Thai while my husband loved his massaman curry with beef. Prices were reasonable at around NZ$22.

I found this on Yelp and decided to have lunch here. I was intrigued by the crispy noodles and ordered that. Unfortunately what the menu failed to mention is that it is not a plate of food, it's a bowl of soup. You'd think that might be worth mentioning but whoever wrote the menu decided against it. It was supposed to have chicken, prawns and scallops in it. I got exactly one scallop, and it was small; I got 2-3 prawns. I was disappointed with this and didn't really enjoy my lunch. As for the noodles, there were two kinds in my soup; only one was crispy, but it didn't stay that way for long. My wife enjoyed her pad Thai noodles, so if you go here, maybe get that.

Delicious food, and amazing rotis. Great prices too. Good service, and the food looked so pretty! If we lived locally, this would be our go-to Thai restaurant.

Went for lunch here based on a recommendation. Not disappointed! We had a couple starters, "Money Bag" + "Pag Tod". Very tasty and lots if vegies. Main was "Suki yaki hang". Noodles we're tender and the sauce was nice and spicy. Chicken and vegies were perfectly cooked. Very nice lunch
