Stayed for one night by myself on 8 June 2023 in the deluxe double room. Surprisingly I was the only guest there that day. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by a friendly guy who guided me slowly through the check in process. The room is extremely clean despite its wooden design which may seem to attract bugs. No spider webs, lizard poop or dust surfaces at all. Saw some reviews about the noise from traffic nearby, but personally I found it rather peaceful and only hear occasional vehicles driving past. Not sure if it’s because I was the only one there but they brought breakfast to my room in the morning. For breakfast they offer a choice between 4 main dishes; American Breakfast, garlic chicken/pork basil rice, pork fried rice and one more that I don’t recall. As shown in the photo, the breakfast spread was massive and delicious. One flaw of this place is that their wifi connection isn’t good all around the place. In fact, in the room itself, I couldn’t even connect to it. The connection was very important for me to plan my day trips and communicate but I managed to compromise using my limited data plan. The water flow for the tap and shower may also be inconsistent at times but it gets better over time. Also tv doesn’t really work. I didn’t visit any of the advertised amenities so I have no comments on them. Last thing is that the price may be relatively steep, especially for a place located so distant from the central and lacking in internet connection. There may be other choices out there but this place is definitely better than wintree resort (stayed there too and they don’t even clean the room properly).

First impression when arriving at Sibsan was amazing. The staff welcoming us in the way only thai people can. It was great. The location of the hotell is a little far from Chiang Mai if you are planning to spend sometime time there. But the location of the hotell, the property itself with everything was amazing. From the Coffee Shop down by the river, the lovely swimingpool, to the library, spa, and restaurant. Even the lobby was great. If there is one thing to complain about is that the facilities at the room was a bit shappy, the shower for instanse was sometimes cloged, and had a funny smell. Its a luxury resort slowly in decay. And its a shame a pearl like this is not maintained. The staff did a great job by doing what they could to feel welcome. And as there was very few guests during our 3 nights stay, the luxury feeling was intensified. Also the food was magnificent.||I would recommend this hotell if you want a relaxing and luxurious vacation without to much noise.

The executive suite was very quiet. I am sensitive to noise but I couldnt hear any noise from the next door. The room was nicely decorated but the view was bad unless we opened the wooden door. The Front Desk was not operating professionally. It seems that the plant around the resort was unattended.

This is a very remote place as in good terms. A peaceful location. The hotel is definitely not modern and chic but is a little old fashioned kind of setting. The service and staff are excellent. Very nicely maintained outdoors and very clean. Far away from the main city centre but a relaxing option. If you like modern hotels and amenities than this is not the place for you. But certainly brings peace of mind.

Wonderful quiet boutique hotel off the beaten track overlooking the river and mountains of Chiang Mai. Ideal for serene time away from the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai. Beautiful traditional Lanna architecture, larger than average rooms, luxury and comfort, fine salt water swimming pool, wonderful staff. Loved it. But would suggest you hire a car to go exploring locally. Otherwise perfect.

The room was very clean, comfortable for sleeping and relaxing. Nice Lanna architecture, design, and furniture with a touch of colonial ones. The breakfast was good, a standard of every hotel. The pool was ok, staff cleaning them regularly.

Beautiful property. Felt very authentic. Very quiet hotel if that's what you're looking for. Food was decent, definitely some room for improvement. Staff is good.||||Only con is that it's far away from the Old Town & restaurants. You have to take an Uber or a cab to get there.

Peaceful views of river. Staff were very professional. Hope to visit again for and I'd recommend for all kinds of travel.
