Sibu Café

Love this place! We are staying close by and have dined here twice already and grabbed drinks to go once. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, the service is excellent and the setting is lovely. Belem and Hugo have been kind, attentive and professional. The coffee is the best we’ve been able to find and the smoothies and coffee drinks are uniquely flavored. We have enjoyed every dish we’ve had: Rancheros, Veggie Omelette, Pancakes, French Toast, Waffles and Traditional Costa Rican Breakfast. I especially enjoy the slow pace that allows me to really settle in and enjoy the entire experience. We will be back again and again before our month here has ended!

We visited Sibu for coffee during our trip to Uvita and went back for breakfast a few days later as it was so great! Perfect presentation, great coffee and professional service. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by!

I don't know where to start. The coffee is delicious. The food is fresh, creative and wonderfully presented. The service is personal and attentive. Don't come here if you're in a hurry as you'd be missing out on so much of the magic that is Sibu. I will be thinking of so many of these amazing flavors for months to come as I long to return.

Decor, plating and taste - all top notch. The smoothies, the coffee and the tipico breakfast were our favorite.

We only stopped for a coffee and a dessert and well, the two desserts and coffee’s were delicious and the service was great. The only issue is that €28 for two desserts and two coffee’s is a bit too much, regardless of how nice the place is.

We love both Sibu locations but the one on the Escaleras mountain is at a higher level :). The Vandola & Chemex coffee methods are a dream for coffee snobs and so hard to find in this area. There are a few new menue items here on the hill and today we had the gluten free omelet which was honestly the best I've had in quite some time. Our server Alice is a gem! Today, the WiFi was 8/8, not as good as it usually is but still workable. Yesterday at the original Sibu in Uvita it was 93/7! To the digital nomad community reading this, if you're sitting for a while, keep the orders coming, not only to help our local businesses during these tough times but also to demonstrate it's wise to cater to the nomad crowd.
