Siciliansk Is is a wonderful locally owned gelateria. The gelato is smooth and creamy. They have unique small batch flavours local to Denmark that have not tasted before. The rødgrød was very nice with the red berry rhubarb sauce.

Google
This was by far the best ice cream I've ever had. 10 stars would not be enough, simply wonderful. Try the salted caramel and the pistachio. A dream!

Google
Not sure about other flavours but their pistachio is one of the best I’ve ever tried. So creamy and smooth! They stick to a small selection of flavours and don’t have flavours like stracciatella and mint chocolate.

Google
Probably the best gelato I’ve ever had. So now I’m shocked my favorite gelato place is not in Italy but in Copenhagen.

VINCENZO COMMISSO

Google
The ice cream was decent but nothing exceptional. Common sweet flavors lacking the 'wow' factor I remembered. The quality used to be much better. Three stars as I expected more

Google
So many delicious flavors!! Loved the passionfruit and blood orange!

Google
Without a doubt the best ice cream in Copenhagen and made from real ingredients! Don’t go to Ismageriet or anywhere else, this beats all by miles.

Google
I love their ice cream! I visited this place back in 2015 and it is still the same lovely spot I've been to. They still have delicious, fresh ice cream. I had koldskål (buttermilk, lemon & egg), zuppa inglese (liqueur syrup & dark chocolate), rødgrød (milk & rhubarb/red berry sauce). My favourites have been koldskål and rødgrød.

Yelp
This is a small ice cream shop located in a quiet neighborhood. The staff is nice and courteous. The store does not have an inside sitting area, but there is a couple of benches outside. They have a decent amount of flavors. Overall a good place if you are in the area.

Yelp
We waited in line for a taste of ambrosia. Seriously, lovely gelato. Small portions but wow, the flavors will blow you away.

Yelp
Who would've thought gelato would surprise me? But this place sure did. Located in hipster part of Copenhagen, the line goes around the corner. You can get three different flavors. Definitely ask for blueberry and crepe anglaise.

Yelp
This is one of the best ice cream places, I just love the taste and consistency. As close to Italian as you can get in Copenhagen. All their ice creams are home made and they change the flavors regularly. But they areas popular so you have to hurry, because they are many time sold out:(. The 4 star is because, they are not the most service minded, at least not when I have gone there and because they close at 2100. I recommend the walk here and you will enjoy sitting on Istedgafe and enjoying you lovely gelato. No appetito!

Yelp
Very good icecream place compared to Danish standards. I only tried pistachio and almond and I certainly recommend the pistachio, which is not an easy flavour. Almond was good, but not up to Italian or Sicilian standards. Sunny benches outside in the evening. Recommended.

Yelp
I love this place. I didn't realize ice cream could be this strong, flavorful, delicate, and delicious. My favorite part of this was the idea of being able to choose 3 flavors no matter which size you get. My tagline might as well be "can I have a bite of that", so this place is perfect for me. Favorite flavors: coffee Would definitely come back here if I revisit Copenhagen :)

Yelp
What a treat! Some of the best italian gelato I've had outside of Italy! All-natural creamy goodness. Of course when I shared my finding with The Guy he insisted on coming back everyday for a top up, which is definitely not helping my waist line. Pistachio is heavenly, and so is Torrone. Actually, I think I've had all flavors and they were all delicious. We quickly filled up our frequent customer clip-card for a free gelato on the house :) Sooo waiting for them to open doors again for summer!

Yelp
After spending 3 weeks searching for ice cream in the winter, I was almost ready to give up until I found Siciliansk Is. They are hidden inside a take-away place and have a smaller selection of flavors during the winter but boy, it hit the spot. I had the strawberry gelato and it was very good. There were even chunks of strawberry in it. The prices are kind of high but they offer tasting samples so you can make sure you get the flavor you want.

Yelp
You need to taste Siciliansk Is! This is the best icecream I've had in Copenhagen. Nothing else even comes close! The quality of the ingredients really is the number one priority here, and it shows. Each flavour actually tastes like the title description, rather than an attempt to imitate it. The service has been very friendly to me, providing _many_ small spoonful-sized samples when I've had a hard time deciding. And it's hard every time, because I really just want it all! Therefore, it makes perfect sense that the default offer is 3 flavours in a cup or waffle. It might seem a bit expensive when you look at the price/volume ratio compared to the average Danish icecream, but trust me, it's worth it. The intensity of the flavours means that the small-looking portion turns out to be a perfectly adequate taste experience - not too much, and not too little. Tasty tip: try the Zuppa Inglese. Danes and Denmark-enthusiasts might recognise the flavour from the less elegantly named Skildpaddeis - good stuff!

Yelp
Heaven!!!! I love that you can get 3 flavors in any size. I got coconut, lemon/buttermilk/something else amazing, and coffee. Just the creamiest most delightful gelato with the friendliest staff. There's no seating but it's perfect to take with you on a stroll. Very clean and they let you try as many tastes as you want. I miss this place!

Yelp
It wasn't until Copenhagen Ice Cream week, that I realized the competition for best ice cream in Copenhagen was so fierce! When the weather is warm and sunny, yummy ice cream becomes top priority for many Danes, and Siciliansk Is definitely satisfies. Siciliansk Is was actually the first ice cream shop I tried in CPH almost 2 years ago but I had no idea at the time how much this place was loved by locals. And I don't know why it took it almost 2 years to return! Siciliansk Is makes some delicious ice cream! Super flavorful, perfect amount of creamy richness, with waffle cones that taste fresh. I lucked out during my most recent visit because it was a rainy day so there weren't many other patrons. But I have biked past them on a sunny day and have seen lines out the door! Service is friendly and quick, and I love how you get 3 flavors no matter what size you get. The shop itself is very tiny and they don't have much seating but I'd gladly eat their ice cream sitting on a curb, standing up, standing on my head... well, maybe not that, but you get the picture...

Yelp
Easily my favourite ice cream shop in Denmark! The menu changes often so you may not find your favourites there all the time, but there are always great flavours there to choose from. The last time I came by, I got pistachio and coffee, which I normally get when I see it is available here. I love pistachio in most applications and this was no exception. Creamy and nutty with just a touch of salt. The coffee, however, was exceptionally good this time with tiny bits of coffee bean and not too sweet. Maybe I just don't remember how good it was last time, or just because it was very hot this day. The service is thankfully fast, and the price is comparable to other ice cream places in Copenhagen.

Yelp
I strongly recommend this ice shop. The owner was trained in Sicily to make wonderful ice cream. I particularly like the chocolate ice cream-it's to die for!

Yelp
Beautiful, delicate, and unique flavors. Coconut, Pistachio, Pine Nut, and more. Texture is outstanding. Some of the flavors are so light that they get lost in the mix of the 3 - caution when choosing which to mix! I wish I could return every day to try all of their flavors and combinations. The best I've had outside of Italy.
