Sidecar Distillery

We had an absolutely amazing tasting experience during our visit at Sidecar Spirits. We’ve been to numerous distilleries, but this was one of the best and most unique spirit tastings we have ever experienced. Victor, the proprietor and distiller was an incredible host. He was interesting to talk to and very knowledgeable about spirits and the distilling craft. Sidecar is a relatively small scale craft distillery, but it has an incredibly large number of spirits in their portfolio including some unique and rare offerings. We ended tasting more than 20 different spirits during our visit, all which were wonderful. Victor took the time to walk us through the distillation process for each of these spirits. I highly recommend visiting this distillery if you like trying craft spirits and are looking for a unique tasting experience.

Oh my gosh this is an amazing distillery with Victor creating incredible gin, vodka, whiskey, rum, several liqueur's and wonderful items. He is lovely to chat with and so passionate. It was one of my favorite places to visit on my trip to Cape Town. High quality and so much love in his alcohols. I can't wait to visit again

We celebrated my husband’s birthday with a tasting. Tim did a great job introducing us to the various spirits and his grand finale was to make a Sidecar drink with the liquors produced here. We had a great time! The location was walking distance from the Doubletree Cape Town East.

Quality micro distillery. Definitely worth a visit to taste, and then leave with a few bottles of fine products.

Definitely the coolest location in Cape Town!
