My parents grew up in Hong Kong and now live in SoCal. When they visited the Twin Cities we had planned to take them to a variety of restaurants, but after they tried Sidewalk Kitchen we ended up coming back three days in a row. While there's something for everyone here, whether you're in the mood for Americanized Chinese dishes, spicy Szechuan dishes, or Vietnamese pho, it's worth exploring their Hong Kong-style dishes. The portions are big and you'll get to try the most authentic tasting Cantonese cuisine in Minnesota.

The lunch special deal here is a fantastic deal for any student seeking a balanced meal at a sit down restaurant on the cheap. I recommend the mongolian beef with cream cheese wantons as the side, as the spring roll was nothing to write home about. No hot drinks are served here, as an FYI.

Sidewalk kitchen is my favorite in stadium village! Everything I try there is great, and they have good authentic dish options along with Americanized options. We love getting takeout or eating in. The chow fun is my favorite, and the fried milk custard is AMAZING. It’s a must try unique dessert. The workers are always nice and there’s a parking lot next door.

The roasted duck is so delicious and juicy. Chow Fun is exceptional. But the honey bbq pork is not good.

I Ordered Through Take Out Delivery With Uber Eats Today With Some Hong Kong Style Lemon Tea,XO Sauce Oyster Stir Fry And Golden Salted Egg Fried Pumpkin.

I like this place, even though it’s not very spacious. During the one hour I was there, I noticed a lot of takeout orders. Parking isn’t very convenient—you’ll need to find street parking nearby, which is metered unless you park farther away. The menu is extensive! They offer noodles, hotpot, congee, fried rice, chow fun, milk tea, and more. The flavors aren’t very spicy, as the dishes are Cantonese-style rather than Sichuan-style. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The waiter was welcoming and friendly. I had a great experience overall. I feel like this is a wonderful spot to bring family or close friends for a tasty meal. However, it’s not ideal for a formal dining occasion.

Found this gem of a restaurant that serves up authentic Chinese dishes in the heart of Stadium Village. Everything I've ordered, I've loved, so you really can't go wrong. Dishes are all around 20-ish dollars, so if you are a broke student, it might not be best for you. Service is always great! I highly recommend Sidewalk Kitchen.
