My friends & I come here anytime we are in town to line dance on Tuesday night. Always a great time!

Absolutely love this place! My friends and I come every time we’re home for breaks. Tuesday and Thursday they do college like dancing and it’s so much fun. They teach dances throughout the night but anyone can come and learn, I’d recommend to anyone!

I’ve really enjoyed coming to Sides. The atmosphere is welcoming, and I appreciate the opportunity to socialize and learn line dancing. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. One suggestion I have is to consider opening the upstairs area on both Tuesdays and Thursdays. As someone who enjoys engaging with others, the downstairs can feel quite crowded at times, leaving limited space to comfortably socialize or dance. The upstairs provides more room and allows guests to dance more freely, which greatly enhances the experience. Overall, I’ve had a great time and look forward to returning soon.

I was very questionable while going through their security check, which was like going through a TSA checkpoint, but was pretty worth it as we had a good time. Now after reading some other reviews I see that they keep your information and record exactly who comes in, by the machine they scan your license into, guess that's their prerogative, but if you value your privacy, you may not want to come. Will say all the security guys were super friendly, just doing their jobs and getting everyone through as quickly as they could. Getting past, there was a $10 cover. The place is hugh with an upstairs and down. Downstairs was country, and upstairs was more a hip-hop dance club. DJ was downstairs once we entered. I don't think we realized there was a live band playing, when we came in, they were on a break. After about an hour or so, they came back out. I'm not sure who they were, but they really rocked the house they were super fun and sounded great. There's a large dance floor with a good sized stage for acts to play. It wasn't overly busy at first, and then it started to fill up. They have a number of different bars you can get drinks from when I went to two of them in the bartenders, who were always friendly and tried to get to you as quickly as they could. We ventured upstairs for a little bit to check out the scene, which was much busier upstairs at first, then downstairs. We had a really good time and no regrets by going. You definitely can have a lot of fun here. Looks like they'll put on some good shows, so it's a great place to catch up and coming country stars.

I’ve been coming here for several months now and it is hands down the best spot in Roanoke! The line dancing nights on Tuesday and Thursday are a blast!! They have live bands every Friday and Saturday and they are always so good! Having the option to go upstairs and dance the night away is a big plus! The food and drinks are all excellent! Everything comes out so fresh and hot! I haven’t found a dish I have not enjoyed here. If you’re looking for a spot that has great energy, great employees, and fantastic food this is the place to be! Don’t forget to get one of those super tasty Jell-O shots! Definitely recommend coming here!

Great and welcoming environment with fun songs for line dancing! They do allow you to request songs as well! The teacher is amazing and teaches 3 songs a night so everyone can feel included!! We love this place so much that we drive an hour every Tuesday just to have a fun night of line dancing!!

Absolutely amazing place for line dancing! Wonderful songs for all types of line dancing, country and pop, and great drinks! We come every week!!

I’ve eaten steak all across this country and the filet at Sidewinders in Roanoke, Va. is the best I’ve had. Very juicy and very good flavor. If you in town it’s worth stopping by!!
