Sid's Pub • Plaza Damansara

Just passed by as I was finding a place for lunch. While scrolling through the menu, the lady introduced me the special they had that day being Lasagna. Surprising as you wouldn't think Lasagna is the forte of a pub. Great suggestion as it was easily the best Lasagna I had so far, very balanced flavour throughout the meal with a soft bun to pair. Proper lasagna you can actually taste each individual layers eaten. With melted cheese on top, middle layers are moist and laden with meat. Unlike certain places whereby the top and bottom layers are very hard while the middle is usually dry, I enjoyed this very much. Pity it's only on Wednesdays, would be convenient if it's part of the menu so I can come during the weekends and wash it down with a cold pint!

Old school neighbourhood pub. Used to be located in south bangsar formally known as Kerinchi. Quite a few expats seem to come here.

A very homey pub and I love it. Came in to try a pint of Guinness while my friend had a pint of Kilkenny and ended up having dinner, too. The stout and ale are not watered down and a decent price for the economy we’re in. I like how chill it is and you can easily relax in this pub. There are also TVs that put on rugby and football games. The fish and chips were lovely, pork pie just absolutely delicious. I would definitely come again.

Good selection of drinks & great atmosphere. They remain open slightly later than advertised for Saturdays depending on the crowd size.

Good proper British pub. The fish and chips are legit authentic. Crispy beer batter. Love the warm cozy atmosphere. And for the ladies, the lavatory is beautiful.

Honestly, it’s been a refreshing change to taste the new menu at the recently renovated Sid’s Pub. Every dish is exactly what pub grub is all about with an added enhancement on flavour bombs. If you want your fix of all the classics and more, get your butt to Sid’s! The ambience is awesome as well — it’s not only a great place to drink but it’s also the perfect spot to do remote work during the day. Your friendly neighbourhood bar in the Bukit Damansara hood. 🫰🏽

So this is coming from someone who loves Sids Pub. Since they had a branch in Bangsar South. The pork burger and the blue cheese with bread ... omg to die for .. the Sid Nevis add on for the pork burger... the egg the bacon to works. Now the pork burger is not even on the menu. Wtf. This is atrocious. We got the pigs in the blanket order. Wtf. Avoid at all cost.

Irish pub in Bukit Damansara. Had my Guinness, fish and chips, cheese burger and Guinness pie...too hungry forgot to take photo of the pie. All good are yummy.

Sid's Pub in Damansara is the place I go to for drinks and anything sports related I want to watch. They'll show big events on their screens like the Super Bowl, Six Nations, Rugby World Cup, Cricket World Cup, etc. Especially on nights with big games, the small pub is abuzz with people. The service is friendly. Both the manager and the owner are in often and that certainly adds to the genuineness of the place. (Impressive, considering their other locations!) It's a no hassle, straight forward pub with solid pub food. My food orders are usually their shepherd's pie (be sure to specify you want mash on top, otherwise it's scalloped potatoes for you), pigs in a blanket (sausages wrapped in bacon), and the occasional cauliflower and peas (loaded with cheese - think mac n cheese, but with cauliflower). It's always paired well with one of their cold drafts. With strongbow on tap, it makes my gluten-free self content!

Known for being child and pets friendly, regular patrons drop by to Sid's for a post-work drink or/and brunch on weekends. It's definitely one pub which makes you instantly feel like a regular. Order their hearty pub grub to go with a pint of beer. It's a no-fuss, high-spirited neighborhood bar for those who're looking for a no-nonsense night out.

Patrons at this pub are usually regulars living in the neighbourhood or office workers unwinding with a pint or two. Sid's has established itself as a neighbourhood pub that practices an animal friendly policy with a variety of drinks on tap and chatty bartenders. There's a few tv screens inside the pub so its usually crowded and noisy when a match is on. Parking is not too difficult as its located in a row of shoplots in the housing area.
