We visited the Historic Siebkins Resort off-season (mid-November) and had a lovely getaway. Quiet. No crowds. The weather was brisk and bright. The service was outstanding. It's a 5-minute walk from 2 of the best restaurants in the Midwest—Paddock and Lake Street Cafe. The exterior evokes the old world feeling, but inside, one had all the modern conveniences along with luxurious bedding. We will definitely return!

Room: We stayed in a property adjacent to the main buildings. It was a remodeled old house with several rooms. The bathroom was slightly small but, being an old house, it made sense. There were several windows with pretty cheap plastic blinds. Everyone walking by was able to see in unless we pulled the blinds. There was also an exterior stair to the upstairs rooms that was literally outside out window. It was not quiet. For what we paid, I expected it to be much more updated.||Location: It's a really small town so it's close to everything. ||Parking: There are approx 15 parking spots in the "courtyard" in the center of the buildings. There is apparently also an underground parking option but it was full. Parking is mostly on the street and availability is based on luck. ||Staff: Nice. We didn't need anything so we didn't interact with them much.

Siebkens Resort was a great vacation choice. We stayed in the Historic Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Resort is located within walking distance to many restaurants and pubs. The onsite pub was lively and had good food, beverage choices and a freindly crew. Higly recommend.

"The hotel offered a beautiful garden view, perfect for morning tea." "Spectacular sunset view from the rooftop, highly recommended."

Things started of nice enough. Sure the rooms are old and small but it's an old place, so that was to be expected. And I liked the ambiance of the place and area. But after the first two nights the noise started. My room was near the bar and pool area and the noise was constant and until well after midnight when I had to be up early. The old building does absolutely nothing to block noise. Many folks were drunk, and eventually on the last night the drunk behavior moved inside. Yelling and screaming in the hallway. Banging on doors. Insane behavior. Guest behavior may not be the hotel's fault but definitely won't be back.

We stayed in the condo building. The room was quite nice, looked recently refurbished. Bathroom very spacious and well appointed, new fixtures . Linens and towels were spotless. Everybody on staff was very friendly, daily housekeeping service was great. The occasion was a multi generational summer family reunion. Great pool and lake activities for kids. Town was walkable with several eateries in addition to those at Siebkens resort. Fun farmers market on Saturday. Cost was reasonable. Location is quiet and beautiful. Many places to sit and visit on resort grounds. Good central US location for people traveling from all over the country.

We visited the bar and grill while we were in town competing at Road America. It's amazing to experience the racing culture and heritage that the area celebrates. My prime rib sandwich was amazing! Of course, we left our racing team's sticker on the wall with the racers who have visited before us.

Beautiful fall weekend at Siebkens. It’s a charming historic resort with very welcoming and thoughtful staff. We stayed in the historic rooms and enjoyed a great fish fry and burger at the Stop Inn Tavern.

Yelp
My vintage-loving heart loved staying at Siebkens Resort. Everything was perfectly quaint. I stayed by myself, so I got a room in the older building with smaller rooms. My room was tiny but perfect for me. I could tell that all of the details in the room -- from the armoire to the bathroom tiles -- were well-thought-out and considered. They really put a lot of thought into the furnishings and want their guests to be comfortable. There are small but nice touches everywhere you look: In the shower, they have their own shampoo/soap, with a scent that is heavenly. I found out later that the scent was created just for Siebkens! Breakfast is included with your stay, and includes housemade granola and yogurt, coffee and poppy seed bread. I am not even exaggerating a little bit: the yogurt and granola were some of the best things I ate in Elkhart Lake, and I ate a lot of great things here. I would 100% stay at Siebkens for many reasons, and a big reason is because of the complimentary yogurt and granola! They give you a complimentary adult beverage upon check-in! Way to win me over! There is a tavern on-site (open seasonally), with excellent food. There's a little bar inside, and they have their own cocktails and a great wine menu. The hotel is located in the middle of downtown Elkhart Lake, so it's super walkable to restaurants and activities. There is also a private entrance to the lake, with chairs and a dock reserved just for Siebken guests. One morning, I took my cup of coffee out onto the dock and looked out onto Elkhart Lake, and it was so peaceful. In my little building, there was a nook with a coffee bar and a place to sit and read. There's a pool and hot tub, but I didn't use it because it was cold and rainy when I visited! Siebkens is a vibe, and you have to experience it to understand. This historic hotel is a great place to stay when you're in Elkhart Lake, and I'm glad I was able to be one of its guests!

Yelp
My Fiancé and I really enjoyed this quiet place. We were in town for the races but also wanted to check out this place. Everyone was so sweet and I really felt like I was eating at home. Show this place some love if you stop in town!!

Yelp
We did not dine here, only stayed in the hotel - we were in a little six (?) unit freestanding house type of building across from the office check-in. What a neat place! Very quaint and definitely a little rustic, but rooms were clean, flipped daily, tons of towels, great water pressure, etc. Very walkable if you're in town for lake activities! We were in town for a race so did not spend as much time exploring the town as we wished we could. We would definitely stay here again and maybe add a day or two to our next trip to better enjoy it!

Yelp
We dined in Siebkens Main Dining room last evening and had a delightful time. We arrived around 7 PM (without a reservation) and we were surprised to be warmly welcomed in! Before I forget, I need to mention--Elkhart Lake was hosting their annual, and very popular 3-Day Vintage/Race Car Weekend. . This entire resort Community is filled with locals and many visitors, and race fans. Due to the government's reoccurring pandemic payouts, many businesses across the Country are having difficulty getting staff to work. Siebkens has also suffered this employee shortage. They had only two servers working the entire dining room on Saturday. However, these two servers were the best--very calm, very friendly, and super efficient! Thomas (our waiter) was the greatest! Our meals arrived in a very timely manner and they were absolutely delicious, served piping hot as they should be. My husband and myself both tried the grilled salmon selection, we split a side of broccolini. The portions were generous. I've attached pics below! We definitely are looking forward to dining at Seibkens in the near future! It's an Elkhart Lake treasure!

Yelp
Always a great bar, and big supporters of the Elkhart Lake community. Great live music and atmosphere in the summer.

Yelp
Elkhart Lake has a new best restaurant! Flavorful, well prepared summer dishes with great combinations of flavor. Walleye with citrus, vegan chirozo tostada and Spanish octopus were all spectacular.

Angie G.

Yelp
It's a landmark. Best walleye we've seen in a while and shashito peppers! Somewhat limited beer menu and mostly self serve.

Yelp
Enjoyed a great meal. Opened late on a Sunday night was a special treat after working all weekend at Road America for the IMSA race. Their menu was small and the choices limited, but the food and service was excellent. Shout out to our waiter Thomas for doing a great job with seven hungry and tired people.

Yelp
DELICIOUS! My husband had the walleye fish fry which he enjoyed immensely! I have the baked walleye with grapes and almonds - it was outstanding! The portions were standard in size. My brandy old fashion was perfect! The old style resort feel was delightful and our service was excellent! Thank you Amanda for being so attentive and pleasant!

Yelp
After 100 years, Siebkens is under new management. I have always enjoyed dining at Siebkens over the past 50 years. I am pleased to report that the new owners are knocking it out of the park with their food. We ate there tonight and I can tell you the food was fantastic. I had the traditional Siebkens Salad and the pork chop. The chop was perfectly prepared, was served hot and had an extraordinary flavor. It sat on a bed of mashed potatoes that were also very good. My wife had the veggie puffed pastry. Again, perfectly prepared. The service is very good and the owner, Wendy, made a point to stop at every table to greet her guests. Please give Siebkens a try and I know you will not be disappointed. Siebkens, along with The Paddock Club, Lake Street, Lola's On the Lake, Route 67(also new) and the Brown Baer makes Elkhart Lake a foodies dream destination. After dinner we enjoyed some outstanding Baron's Gelato. You can also walk down the street for a delightful experience at Gessert's Ice Cream Parlor. You can check it all out at www.elkhartlake.com. Yelp
Great old school supper club with a dining room that will bring you back to dirty dancing resort living. Amazing food and drinks

Yelp
Elkhart lake old world charm meets fresh new flavors!! Yay! Dinner at P.A.M.'s was delicious. The shaved vegetable salad was flavorful and a delightful start to the meal. The "chorizo" Tostada was absolutely delicious along with the Spanish octopus. If you want an amazing walleye experience, this is the place to order it. The cocktail menu is equally as exciting as the fantastic food menu. I am excited to come back ASAP!

Yelp
I had the pan fried walleye and it was great! The sweet and savory pistachio salad was unique but added a lot to the dish, will definitely get again.

Yelp
From the second I entered the cob-web covered doors, I felt at home in the old atmosphere of Siebken's Main Dining Room. I was promptly greeted and seated at the best table in the WHOLE dining room by splendid employee, Rachel. My server, Shynaia, was very knowledgable and helpful when I asked her questions about EVERYTHING on the menu, including where the fish are breed and captivated. She also brought me tasty tap water, the best chocolate milk I've ever had in my life, and a fancy basket of bread that took me back to the days spent at grandma's house as a young lad. After weighing out my options and asking about everything on the menu, I finally decided on the PB&J sandwich with the side of gluten-free kettle chips. After a delicious meal, I ordered the chocolate-cherry cake and ate it all, including the walnuts which I'm allergic to, but it was a price I was willing to pay for the delicious dessert. At the end of the meal, I was able to go back into the sanitary kitchen and compliment head chef Chris on his exemplary PB&Jj making skills! Would recommend to family and enemies alike.
