Yelp
Summer House delivers an experience as impressive as its name suggests. With its warm, boathouse-inspired vibes and lively energy, this spot nails the perfect balance between upscale dining and a welcoming atmosphere.
We started with the Lobscargot, a playful twist on classic escargot, substituting lobster for snails. It was buttery, indulgent, and an absolute treat for seafood lovers. The Prime Meatballs Pomodoro followed, with rich, tender meatballs bathing in a robust tomato sauce that could easily stand on its own.
For mains, the seafood platter was a knockout. The lobster tail and scallops were flawlessly cooked--juicy and tender--paired beautifully with warm butter and delicate king crab. The lobster sauce, reminiscent of a luxurious bisque, tied it all together. The filet mignon, cooked to perfection, was so flavorful it didn't need a drop of sauce--a testament to its quality.
The sides deserve their own standing ovation. Wagyu fries were crispy perfection, while the potatoes au gratin had a perfect harmony of creaminess and cheese. The creamed spinach, though simpler, was comforting and solid.
Dessert, though, was the crowning glory--a towering slice of carrot cake. Moist, spiced just right, and paired with a luscious frosting, it left us raving. My wife even declared it the best dessert of the trip--a rare honor.
With attentive, friendly service and a menu full of hits, Summer House is a dining experience I'd return to in a heartbeat. Don't sleep on this one--it's worth every bite.
