Siesta Sydney

Good place to stay! Room is simple but you have everything you need. Very happy to have museli and fresh fruits for breakfast also free laundry machine!!! Cheap and get you a bed for the night. Also the lady at the front desk was super lovely and helpful. I felt welcome :) merci!

Siesta Sydney is perfectly located in the CBD, within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. The rooms are very comfortable, and the place is quiet, with a respectful atmosphere even though there are shared spaces. The kitchen has all the necessary amenities and is cleaned daily by the staff, and they even offer free laundry services. The best part of all is the amazing team running the place — especially Alejandra and Vanesa, who work super hard to make sure all guests are happy and feel at home.

Room was good for what it's worth, we were upgraded for free to a en suite. We were allowed to put our luggage into storage before checking in and after checking out so we could explore without bags. Reception staff were really lovely and happy to chat.

We stayed here two times. I reckon you won't get another private room for this price right in the cbd without switching to a hostel. Last time our room had a bad smell which wouldn't fade even with the windows open 24/7. sheets and towels were clean. Also the shared amenities were regularly cleaned. Overall I would stay here again. Thanks siesta

The Siesta is the perfect place if you need a place to sleep/ siesta in the Sydney CBD. The rooms are basic, some rooms have shared bathrooms and common areas for dinner. I was in town for the City 2 Surf and it was the perfect base to get a good night sleep, have a fresh shower in the morning and then a leisurely stroll to the start line at nearby Hyde Park.

Siesta is an excellent combination of Hotel and Hostel, with shared kitchen/lounge; and Male and Female bathrooms/toilets) on each floor. Washing machine, dryer and iron are aslo available. Close to Darling Harbour, Barrangaroo and Wynyard Transport hub, Siesta offers affordable, clean and comfortable accommodation in central Sydney. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient.

Cannot beat the location for the price. Decor is tired but found the place comfortable and clean. Quiet enough for the CBD. Feels like a quiet backpackers. Everything I needed.

Great stay at Siesta Sydney. Check in was extremely easy, staff was pleasant & helpful with directions, amenities were clean, plenty of common space, kitchen with all utensils to be used by guests, FREE WiFi, and centrally located. Quick walk to Darling Harbour, The Fish Market, Downtown CBD, Opera House, Botanical Gardens and more. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our stay to a week. Would highly recommend to anyone staying and wanting to see Sydney!
