A truly humbling and meaningful experience. This tour offered an incredible insight into village life and Captain Hotlaps was the mannnn 🤝informative, warm and open in sharing his upbringing and cultural knowledge. The village visit into Sautabu & kava ceremony was a highlight. The lunch made with love by the village… even better 👌 We were welcomed with such genuine hospitality and experiencing daily life in the village was both grounding and eye-opening for us all, especially my children. This tour goes far beyond adventure ❤️ it’s a beautiful cultural experience we’ll never forget. Lots of uphill walking from the boat to village so be prepared for this

A true representation of Fijian culture, community and happiness. The Singatoka River Safari is a tour more of the world needs to see. Led by Jay, with an inspiring story of a dream, that is transformed throughout his team who made the experience one to remember. Our bus driver Zac, a local man from Sigatoka, who made us feel right at home from the beginning. His generosity, kindness and comedy, setting the standard of the day to come. Suiting up for the Jet boats, our driver, Captain Lapps showed incredible knowledge and experience. Listening to him explain the history and village culture felt like watching a film. After arriving at the village, we were welcomed and accepted by the Chief before a tour and lunch provided. They sang, danced and showed genuine hospitality for us all, as if we were one of their own. If you’re looking into doing this, but concerned about price, timings or whatever; I encourage you to just make it work. You will finish the day a better person. 🫶🏼

I went on the village and cave tour and it was AMAZING! First of all we got picked up from the marriott and driven to the location on a bus. Once there we hopped on a jet boat to get across the village and into landcruisers. From there, we went through multiple villages, seeing how locals live and enjoy their lives. Once near the caves you do a simple land rights/agreement ceremony with local chiefs of the land before heading into the caves. The caves are these massive open chambers 750m long, the guides talks you through the historical use and how it was formed. An amazing yet simple lunch follows. Thank you to Saddam and Moses for being my guides and Josh for driving us to the hotel. Absolutely Amazing experience and i would go again, It's a must do

What an amazing experience!! Captain (Hot) Laps was wonderful he took a lot of time to explain to us all about his village, the culture and people of Fiji. It was great to be welcomed into a village and be shown their customs and cooking! I can’t recommend this company enough! It has a well oiled, friendly and entertaining team!

The tour and the cultural event were great, however, there are 2 things to consider. - to go to the village you have to climb a steep path up and down. No one fell as there were helping hands from the locals. - on the way back the speedboat will make some 360 degrees turn. You will be completely wet. You need to bring other clothes or buy them in the shop We liked the tour a lot and would do it again

Where do I even begin. My friend and I joined this tour on a recommendation from our resort and we were blown away. The staff were all incredible - our driver Zach was so friendly and personable and our boat Captain Hot Laps was wonderful and very informative teaching us so much about Fijian culture and taking us for an invigorating 360 jet boat drive. The village we visited was just amazing and such an unforgettable experience - the locals treated us to an incredible spread of local Fijian food and we got to try Kava and join in on dancing with the kids and locals. We felt so welcomed and it was so cool to be able to see a different way of life and immerse ourselves in the culture. I couldn’t recommend this tour and experience enough to anybody staying in Fiji. Thank you so much to the team for hosting us and if I will definitely be recommending this experience to all my friends and family.

Great and professional staff. What a fun trip this was! The boat trip was great fun and we loved all the locals along to way waving at us. We appreciated the history of this company and how a young Aussie boy and a local wanted local people/villages to benefit from tourism. And to give tourists a truly local and authentic taste of Fiji. The organisation rotate the villages they visit, so everyone benefits and isn't affected too much by tourism on a daily/weekly basis. We highly recommend doing this.

This is my fourth trip with Sigatoka River Safari and was just as exciting as the first. The experience is an “absolutely must do” activity when in Fiji. The professionalism of the staff including Captain Jack, Fabulous Freddy, Jay, Emily and others whose names I don’t know made for an educational and fun experience that connected me to the Fijian culture in a meaningful and personal way. Outstanding!
