Beautiful views from this campground. The lake was a great place to relax and swim after hiking all morning. The restaurant and bar were suprisingly good. The general store had everything you might need. Also, lots of wildlife to see including Elk!

Spent two nights in Grand Tetons. Campground was clean. Saw lots of wild life including Bear and Elk. Check in to the site was next to non existent compared to other national parks we have stayed in. Sites were pretty close to each other, didn't use the showers but they looked ok, $5 for 12 minutes. The laundry room wasn't great, around $5 as well. Restaurant by the lodge looked good but didn't end up eating there, general store had wood and ice and some basic food items. It was super quiet at night. Views of the lake from the boat launch were great in the evening. Bathrooms were cleaned three times a day, no paper towel or hand dryers, water was only cold. Very laid back vibe. Good if you are looking for a chill place to hike.

Signal Bag Campground is a wonderful base camp for the Grand Tetons. Centrally located and nice privacy foliage. Would have loved more amphitheater presentations and showers included. The beach access to Jackson Lake is the BIG selling point. Our campsite has a private foot path down to the water — what?! That’s amazing. Especially when alllll the Teton tourist stops are swarming with people and it’s hard to even snag a parking spot, it’s fantastic to be able to end each evening with our Tommy Bahama chairs watching the sunset just steps from our campsite. We are campsite #43. Note: the site would be easier to park a large trailer if you enter the one way backwards. You can see the trees across from the site are heavily banged up from lots of previous “incidents” as while the site is large enough… the trees and roadway to back in a trailer are narrow! Be cautious and best to just go in backwards. Otherwise, an excellent site (maybe lacking some privacy, as the fire pit for the neighbor site is very close). But overall would definitely book the site again just for the water access with excellent Tetons view.

We stayed at Gros Ventre and since there aren't services there, we had to use the public showers and laundry. Holy mosquito! The showers are fine- open until 9pm, just wish they had a squeegee and shower antibacterial cleaner so we could use it before and after we showered to keep things more sanitary. Laundry is fine too- open 24/7, both take tokens that you can get with cash or credit card in laundry area.

In 2023, we pulled an 11' camper with our Jeep on an overlanding trip through Yellowstone and the Tetons. Despite some bad weather, our site at Signal Mountain Campground was clean, flat and dry - no flooding issues like we experienced at Colter Bay the day before. The availability of bear boxes and trash disposal was a big plus, making food storage and waste management easy and secure. We also appreciated the small dishwashing station near the bathrooms, which was a nice convenience. Navigating the campground trails with our 11' pull-behind camper was straightforward and hassle-free. The area offered plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities, and nearby showers and laundry facilities made for a comfortable stay overall. Best of all, the sites had a lot of privacy with shrubs and trees. In 2023, site 46 was $59.94/night, booked through Recreation.gov.

Amazing location right on the lake. The store is super handy and has all the little things you might not have remembered to bring with you. The site itself could've been flatter but I saw other sites with tent boxes so if you got one of those ones you'd probably be set.

It was supposed to be 5 starts at the first . Their facility is great. Staff is very kind, there is Shower room, laundry, store so on... BUT the campsite where im is close to Boat launch parking lot. It is over midnight now but there is group having party and music sound is very very loud ..I don't know which site is even I can't get out of my tent site because it is so dark and scary. But this noise from parking lot.. It is basic manner to keep quiet time from 10 pm around camping site . It has been some hours!!! .. heading to 2 am ! Let me sleep !!! Crazy people !! There is no where i can call or complain for this. I know this is not this campsite problem. I should not blame Signal campground But Im leqving my experience on the first night is nightmare now. Im staying here for 3days. I hope the rest of nights would be better!

We camped here for one night. Easy to find site and restrooms. Everyone was respectful of the 'quiet' times. The showers were large enough to actually move around in. Our site had a great view of lake.

Yelp
I stayed at Signal Mountain Campground for one night in mid-June while on a cross-country road trip, and it was a great stop during my visit to Grand Teton National Park, one of my favorites...I've been to 60 of the 63 designated national parks in the United States. The campground had plenty of bathrooms, including a shower area (for a fee) and a laundry facility, which I really appreciated. The proximity to the boat launch was perfect for some early morning photos; the views were stunning! Unfortunately I tried to sunbathe/relax mid-afternoon after a hike but the bugs wanted to feast on me! I also loved being able to have a campfire, adding to the overall experience. However, I did wish the campsites were a bit more spaced out. I had some noisy neighbors, and unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well that night and ended up throwing up, which definitely wasn't ideal. Despite that setback, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Signal Mountain Campground for its amenities and beautiful location!

Yelp
This was everyone's favorite campsite in our 18 day road trip. Site 12 has the million dollar unobstructed views of Jenny Lake! We had site 11 and our friends had site 9 and both were positioned in such a way that all three had (partial) views of the lake with the mountains in the background. Gorgeous views at sunset! The sites are mostly gravel with designated tent areas, which we were thankful for when we experienced crazy thunderstorms both nights we were there (some of the grassy areas were muddy but could have been a lot worse). We loved the electric hookups (extra fee), and the lodge with facilities (restrooms, showers and laundry) came in handy! My friends saw a fox and it took a pair of one of their gloves! So watch out for your belongings! We figured there must be a fox den inside the campgrounds. RV and trailer max is 30' for every site in this campground.

Yelp
We stayed in campsite #65. We chose it since it was the closest one left next to the lake. In the morning we took a trail down to the lake that was directly connected to our campsite. Such a great way to start the day. The view is absolutely stunning from this location. The general store is nice here. They have a laundromat and showers. The showers cost about a dollar a minute. In order to use them you need to get tokens from inside of the laundromat. It is connected to the same building. The sites that are closest to these facilities are the ones with the lower numbers (10s and 20s). Since we were 65 we were a bit of a distance away. Bathrooms were nice for a campground. It would be nicer if they had showers at every bathroom instead of just by the entrance. We were able to get cell service here. The downside is that our campsite was backed right up next to the campsite beside us. Literally our tents were 1 foot away from each other. There was not much we could even do about it since both sites were really tiny in comparison to the others. We had to move our tent and had to be on a slight slope. We could still hear the people next to us coughing and snoring. The weather for camping was perfect when we were here. We are from the east coast so we have had some rough camping experiences in the past with it being too humid, too many bugs, too hot or too cold. But here in Grand Teton we did not run into any of that. We had 40 degree temperature sleeping bags and that worked out fine for September. Even though it is warm in the day it still cools down at night. I will definitely be camping again out here! If you have been scared away from camping in the past give it another try here or in Yellowstone.

Yelp
AWESOME campground!! Absolutely beautiful and clean. Our site was a great size and close to everything (i.e. the lake, bathrooms, beach). Despite being a full campground, it didn't feel like it. There were lots of trees to provide privacy between campgrounds. Some campgrounds even had a clear view of the lake and mountains, which would have been so so beautiful. I loved staying here, I would absolutely camp here again! PLus there is a restaurant, gas station, coffee shop, grocery store, and bar all within the campground, making it a great one stop shop for everything you may need. Despite all of those things being on the campground, it still felt very secluded and quiet.

Yelp
Million dollar views but a campground in dire need of improvements. Basic improvements like having a site prepared for an RV that is reasonably level and graded Site says 30 foot but your pressed to make it work. This may have worked when it was built but not by any reasonable standards today My camper slid downhill when trying to level it. The place is clean, showers and laundry available and camp-store very nice camp, personnel are great. In the past two months we have stayed at maybe 30 locations and this is close to the worst as far as having a site ready to set up your RV on Roosevelt would be embarrassed PS. Also the most expensive camp we have stayed at

Yelp
First of all, "Grand Teton" is a bit much. How about just "Teton"? Our visit consisted of unblazed and unkept hiking trails and a poorly managed campground. To top it off, showers were a $5 minimum charge after paying for admissions and a campsite. There was no soap or dryer/hand towels in bathrooms. Bear boxes were poor quality and difficult to use, even though all toiletries and water (in addition to food) had to be kept in them. We came to hike and every single trail had some ongoing construction. The construction areas were closed, but this was not always indicated at trailheads. Then the portions that were open were so poorly maintained they often were unhikable. To add to our frustration, there were portions of trails not safe to hike due to snow. These were not closed for hikers safety in spite of the fact that park staff were aware of the trails' conditions.

Yelp
This campground was great! We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful views of the amazing Tetons, good and not so pricey food at the restaurants and the camp store was great. Showers are super clean and not communal showers for a change. Finding a campsite wasn't too much of a hassle for the most part. However, we didn't give it a 5 because of the price for showers for people staying at the campground, and because they didn't have antibacterial soap or any hand sanitizer in the bathrooms.

Yelp
Very impressed by this campground. No hassle checking in and getting a site, although get there earlier to get the best location. Many of the sites are directly on Jackson Lake with nice views. Bathrooms nearby with drinkable water. Showers also available for $5 for a 7 minute which sounds like the norm in national parks. VERY VERY impressed with the knowledgable and friendly staff on the campsite and at the bar and grill located within walking distance. The food at the Trapper Grill was excellent and fairly priced. Andrew the waiter, the bartenders and Graem were especially helpful and friendly. There is also a General Store which has mostly fairly priced items, and beer. Campsites are intimately spaced but didn't have issues at all with neighbors and everyone was respectful and quiet. The campground is immaculately cleaned and we even had a Small bear visitor that roams through the grounds as well as Elk. Would definitely recommend this campground to visitors and stay away from the touristy Jenny Lake. Signal Mountain is also in a pretty good location near many interesting sites and had acceptable cell service and a laundromat.
