Google
Our "room" was more like a suite, with separate bedroom, sitting and dining areas and mini-kitchen. A BEAUTIFUL view of Lake Jackson and the Tetons! All the lodge staff were polite and helpful. Check-in and -out were a breeze. In addition to eating in, there were several eat-out options conveniently located in the area, as was fuel. We would DEFINITELY stay there again.

The guided fishing trip was amazing. Caught 7 good size trout. The guide was very experienced and knowledgeable. He knew exactly where to go. ||We stayed in a king country. The reservation said there was no view, but we had a great view of the lake! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. ||The food at Peaks was fantastic. The Lodge had everything we needed.

Google
Location 10/5. Having toured most of Teton NP, I felt this is the best location - the waterfront rooms/cabins have incredible views of the range. You can see glaciers from your balcony, what more can you ask for :) Very convenient amenities - restaurant, gas station, convenience store all exist on the property, yet the rooms offer enough privacy. Service was great. I had booked the lazy river float tour and couldn't make it because of health issues and the staff handled the situation very well. Will be returning for sure.

Absolutely recommend staying in Grand Teton National Park. We stayed at Signal Mountain Lodge in a log cabin. We traveled with 4 adults and a toddler, only one bathroom but we made it work. This is a great place to lay your head down after a long day on the trail or exploring the park. It has everything you need nearby and the location is excellent sitting inside the park with reasonable prices. We stayed for 6 nights and would definitely come back to stay again.

Google
Our stay blew us away! From the picture book view, to the magic of Hollywood the Elk that roams the property, to the wonderful staff and fantastic restaurants. We loved it all. We stayed in both lakeside cabins and the older inside cabins and we thought both were great!

Google
Beautiful views from the Mountain View cabins. Has a kitchen too. Staff were all very friendly. Has a general store and gas station that have very reasonable hours. It is also very close to several great turn outs for great views of the mountains. If you get a Mountain view cabin try to get a upper level one. it definitely has a better view. You can also get to the water side very easily for a great view. The sunset here was one of the best that I had ever seen. I will definitely be back just to see that again. It is also fairly close to the Jackson hole airport which is a nice plus.

Google
Took a private guide fishing tour for two and had an amazing time. Our guide, Damian, is extremely knowledgable, friendly, and answered all our questions about fishing, where to visit in the area, etc. The lake and views are stunning and we hardly saw any other boats- felt like a peaceful retreat. Highly recommend.

Google
Stayed in an upper lake view and while the view was spectacular, the room was only superficially clean. The chair legs were dusty as were the internal doors. The glazing channels were full of dirt and flies. It just felt like the necessary surfaces were done but it had never been deep cleaned over the winter. |There was noise from adjoining rooms as well.

Yelp
The lodge restaurant was great and had a nice outdoor space and beautiful views. There was a bar with a large draft selection and a wide array of menu offerings. I ordered the chicken which had a great sauce and yummy mashed potatoes. Great service.

Yelp
Signal Mountain Lodge Visited the Grand Teton area and wanted to stay in a location that offered amenities close to our activities. Maximizing our limited time to be within the National Parks avoids the longer distances of outside lodging and lines at the entrance stations into the parks. This is an establishment that appears well run and the complex of Registration building, Restaurant and Gift shop, General Store, Gas Station and Laundromat are all relatively close to one another in a walkable distance. Those who have more mobility issues would find a large parking lot centralized to these structures and an ability to get into the restaurant more easily where it is paved. There is a layout of cabins that face the gloriously beautiful Jackson Lake with great views of the Tetons in the background. There is a Marina office where you could check out their boating services and the cabins not on the waterfront facing areas are just a short walk away to access views of the shoreline. It was very peaceful and quiet when we were there. We stayed in a Double Queen Country room that adjoined another room. The rooms were clean, well appointed with a large counter and sink area. I'm always a bit leery of new places at higher elevations of being able to provide enough warmth at higher elevations but we did not have that problem. The room warmed up very quickly with their easy to use thermostat. There was a phone line we could call the front desk if needed. They did mention they would provide WiFi in your room but understand even those connections can be sporadic when you are situated around these wide open environments. The beds were comfortable and bedding kept me nice and toasty. Laundromat takes tokens and you can use a credit card to get those. The nearby campground area also uses their facility and they also have showers available to campers. The only recommendation I would leave is perhaps a little better lighting near the entryways into the cabin areas. Darkness descends very quickly after sunset and I would be sure you carry good portable flashlights if you decide to walk to the restaurant at night or out for a night stroll. The other benefit in staying in this location is that you can take the Signal Mountain road up to its summit which offers a great view of the surrounding area. You are paying for the convenience of location. The cabins are dark woods, rustic but sturdy, nothing fancy but covers what you would need for a nice respite in the outdoors.

Yelp
We enjoyed this lodge. We were assigned a cabin at the edge of the lake but on the wrong side to see the mountains; we could walk right out the back door to the shore. It had a nice patio as well, but it would have been nicer if there weren't a smattering of trees blocking the view of the lake. I get that it's a national park...nature and all that...but the view would have been great. Another issue was the mosquitos. Again, not the lodge's fault...but we couldn't sit on the patio for long before the bugs drove us inside. The seal on the doors and windows wasn't super-tight, so we had a few mosquitos in the room with us all night. The bar and restaurant were OK. Strong drinks and quick service. My wife ordered the trout which was very overcooked but tasty. I got the fried chicken which was the same - really dark and slightly burnt, but tasty. We saw a beautiful elk with a full antler rack lounging in the grass when we stopped at the desk to check out - very cool.

Ann O.

Yelp
Mediocre food, slow service. Waitress started out fine - but after serving drinks never checked on us. After 2 tables seated after us received their food we motioned her over - she told us, "what can I say, kitchen is cooking it" when our food finally arrived, she asked, "are you happy now?" actually no, the fish tacos were terrible, trout dry, slaw tasted off, saved only by guacamole.

Jessica P.

Yelp
I ordered the fish and chips and they were delicious. The food portion is very generous. I would recommend this spot and it has a gorgeous view of the lake.

Yelp
We made a last minute adjustment to our Teton/Yellowstone itinerary and booked a room at Signal Mountain Lodge a few weeks out. It was a little more than we would have liked to have paid, particularly since breakfast wasn't included, but it was convenient to the Tetons and Yellowstone. PROS: -Cozy cabin with a fireplace and 'rustic cabin decor'. -A couple of restaurants, a bar, gas station, gift shop and general store on site. We went to the Trapper Grill for dinner and really enjoyed it. -Clean. -Good shower. -Room well appointed with safe, hairdryer, long mirror. (FYI, no TV). -Complimentary outdoor parking. -Nice lake views from the general property (Not from our particular cabin which had a view of other cabins and the parking lot). -Toiletry dispensers in the shower. -Plenty of towels. -Large spacious lobby with complimentary hot drinks, a fireplace and seating with great lake views. -Quiet -Free wifi -We saw deer on the property. -The few times I called the property prior to arriving, they were very pleasant on the phone. CONS: -A bit pricey, particularly since breakfast isn't included, but we paid for the convenience of location. ($347.21 during the summer 2023 which we prepaid. Double check their cancellation rules as they aren't as flexible as some places). -Smallish (double) bed -No A/C, but a large floor fan was available, although it was a little tough finding a good place to plug it in. -Could do with more electrical/USB outlets in the rooms. Note: We booked the 'Float Trip' through the lodge, which we found somewhat boring and disappointingly we didn't see much wildlife. It was however, convenient as they picked us up right at the lodge.

Yelp
Customer service for Needles Gift Shop needs improvement. The male cashier was not friendly to foreigners. He was condescending to other people who looked different than him. Please be kind to others and not judge a book by their cover.

Katie D.

Yelp
We stayed at a non-view cabin for 2 nights and also ate at Signal Mtn Trapper restaurant for 2 dinners. We had a really nice experience. The cabins are rustic, but they get the job done. We saw the most beautiful starry night sky here. The lodge also had hot chocolate, coffee, ice, and a water bottle filling station... these are a must in a national park!! We had a really great waitress at Trapper Grill named Kailey! I really liked the buffalo chili.

Lisa S.

Yelp
After a short wait, we were seated in the atrium with a beautiful view of the lake. While we didn't see Hollywood, the neighborhood elk (we were told it's mating season and he was probably a bit busy) we did enjoy our meals in a cozy lodge atmosphere. I chose the trout tacos and they were excellent. Two large tacos came with one side (from many options). I loved that I could choose a side salad as an option. Others at our table had nachos (the 2-person nachos were ginormous) heaping with beef, beans, and cheese. Yum. Also burgers at our table that were large portions and very tasty. Great stop and majestic views. Service was excellent. Parking easy.

Sivam R.

Yelp
Awful place in the summer! Avoid it like the plague. First, our cabin had zero airflow even when you open the windows. The windows screens many have holes. The window screens are smaller than the window and have huge gaps which lets all the mosquitoes and crawlers in WY in your room. We had to buy some stronger bug spray and the damn things still bit us. My daughter had eleven bug bites and we ended up giving her Benadryl. It was unbelievable hot in our room and all they give you is a box fan. The management was useless. They sent a guy who put one window screen patch but left the gaps in the screen. We ended up coming back late every night just to avoid the heat in the room. If you really want a real ruffing it vacation and bathe in bug spray before you go to bed then Signal Mountain is for you. Spiders all over the cabin bc the widows and doors are not sealed and they are looking for the mosquitos. I counted 12 mosquitos on our ceiling one night. The bushes around the cabins are overgrown and we had trouble finding the cabin. As a parent having to lather my kids down with bug spray before they go to sleep bc the $400 a night lodge didn't fix widows that allowed every mosquito in WY in our room is despicable. Yeah the place is pretty but they are untruthful on their website. The temperature was better outside than in our room and we could not open the windows bc the gaps in the screen. The restaurant is sub par. We had a waitress who seemed to be annoyed that we were sat at her table. We didn't feel welcome.

Yelp
We visited Signal Mountain Lodge during Covid. The main lodge, restaurant and boat rentals were all closed. We did take advantage of the laundry and genera store that were open on the property. Our room was spacious and clean. The kitchen was perfect (especially with restaurants being closed). We had amazing lake views and my kids loved playing on the smooth river stones. One thing I want to note is the bear activity in the area. While we didn't actually see a bear during our short visit we saw plenty of clear signs bears were just outside our room (scat and scratched trees). Use caution and always carry your bear spray.

Dawn W.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! We stayed in one of the cabins for a couple of nights. It was a non-view room. It had the greatest view! It was clean, and the beds are comfy, although they are very high :-). Plenty of hot water, which is always a plus in a park. Free coffee from five to noon, which is a plus when you get up early! And the wildlife was everywhere!

Joe P.

Yelp
The residence we are staying in is beautiful and cozy. The staff is very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We participated in the guided fishing tour with Damian as our guide. He was the most knowledgeable fisherman I have ever met in my entire life and helped us have a very successful fishing trip with multiple catches. His boat is perfect for this kind of a fishing trip; hooked up with down-riggers and many rods, the boat was awesome. As we made our way around Jackson Lake, Damian pointed out many cool things and told us all about them such as the plane crash decades ago on Mount Moran and the eagles flying over Hermitage point. Single mountain lodge has a great coffee bar within the general store which is perfect for early morning wake-ups prior to a long day hike. The food offered in the lodge is also great, I ate sandwiches for dinner here a few nights during our trip because all the Jackson Hole restaurants were either fully booked, super expensive, or closed by the time we finished our day. Having food options right next door to our cabin was extremely helpful!

Alex P.

Yelp
We only stayed one night. Wish we could have stayed longer. Our cabin had 2 rooms. Plenty of space for just the 2 of us. Nice bathroom with a heating light. Nice front porch with chairs. Cabin has a wooden closet, mini fridge, and more. Front desk asked us to dial 0 immediately if we see a bear. Wait. What?? They have a restaurant with amazing views and a really cool gift shop. Marina, gas station with a convenience store and free wifi with no password required, friendly staff. What else could you ask for while visiting the gorgeous Grand Teton National park. Go check them out!

Angie C.

Yelp
1st stay at the lodge and had a comfortable room with two queens with a little deck with a view of the trees. All the staff were great, room was clean and comfortable and very sound proof....our family was next door and we couldn't hear them at all. The general store was a 3 minute walk and had a decent selection of coffee, food and supplies. Great central location in the park and beautiful view of the lake and the Tetons. Did an evening float trip with Joe and he was such an excellent guide. It was a highlight of our stay.

Chris H.

Yelp
Great view of the lake and Teton mountain range from our room. We had the lakeside option for rooms and they had great views at night watching the sunset.

Elvis T.

Yelp
This is a recommendation for the restaurant portion. We were pleasantly surprised how good the experience was eating here. We didn't expect much since it was a tourist stop for food. But the food was amazing, reasonably priced and the view can't be beat. It overlooks the lake and the weather was just perfect. The service was awesome and the food was delicous. Definitely get the nachos, it was amazing!

Beth A.

Yelp
Had late lunch after a long day of hiking at Signal mountain lodge restaurant and were quite pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, service and views from the dining room! We were so impressed we went again the next day and weren't disappointed. Very well managed and the food is delicious! Highly recommended.

Richard G.

Yelp
Go for the fantastic views and great scenery, skip the food, it's for the low budget tourists.

Nick I.

Yelp
Kids and I stayed one night here in late July during our Yellowstone Park trip, we wanted to stay inside the park (as opposed to West Entrance). We got a Lakefront Retreat room on the lower level, it had two queen beds in a separate room, a pull out couch, a kitchenette and a decent sized bathroom. The Lodge brought a rollaway bed for my younger son so we all had our own bed. We arrived at night and had no idea we'd wake up to such a beautiful lake view! This is one of the few available lodging options inside the Park which made it very pricey - $350 for the night. Covid forced the Lodge to close their restaurant, the General Store on site provided grab n go food options. It also is a mini grocery store so you could make some basic meals in the kitchenette. Vanilla latte was tasty from the General Store, it made my morning time by the lake that much more enjoyable. I was surprised to see quite a bit of boat traffic on the lake, both fishing and power boats. There is a gas pump at the General Store so be prepared for a lot of auto traffic.

Laugh S.

Yelp
The restaurant at signal mountain was awesome. The service was great and food delicious. We infact looked forward to eating here as the place we stayed at was sub par.

Ninette A.

Yelp
In July 2017, we ended our Yellowstone trip with a stop in the Grand Tetons. We stayed in the Signal Mountain Lodge "Two Room Cabin" with two queen, one twin, and one sofa bed. This was my favorite accommodation of all the stops we made. This cabin was an authentic "log" cabin which was cozy and comfortable. It was spacious and did not feel like a "rental" cabin with limited space. The cabin came with a large plug-in cooling fan, built-in heater, small refrigerator, hair dryer, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There wasn't a coffee maker, but free coffee and tea was available in the lobby. Guest hospitality was exceptional here with extremely thorough and caring individuals. Each staff member I encountered went above and beyond in assisting us and clearly took genuine pride in their responsibilities and service. I didn't inspect the cleanliness of this cabin as thoroughly since it was much larger than our previous accommodations, but the bathroom and all the counter tops were clean. The built-in wall shelving unit was dirty with small droppings. I wiped this down and didn't find anything else needing attention. We did find a small stuffed animal lost under the sofa couch. Pricey, but this cabin was so relaxing. Loved it!

Yelp
We stayed here recently for one night in September. We booked pretty late so there was limited availability in rooms. We got 1 - 2 room cabin and 1 - country room w/ 2 queen beds. I personally stayed in the 2 room cabin and had an amazing experience. I loved the decor and gave it a rustic-y feel. They had wifi here so thats a plus!! We stayed at some places in Yellowstone that didn't have strong Wi-Fi. We didn't get a lake view room but the walk to the lake was only a couple minutes away and had amazing views. My little one absolutely loved the lake and all the rocks. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Grand Teton again.

Eva S.

Yelp
I was a little disappointed at first, but changed my mind real quick. My wife and I stayed here for part of our fifth anniversary trip. One of my biggest goals had been to stay in a cute cabin with a wood-burning stove or fireplace (no gas is not acceptable I have FIRE-RELATED STANDARDS), but none of the Yellowstone options with fireplaces were affordable or available, and none of the Signal Mountain Lodge cabins with stoves were available. When we arrived, they'd actually just given someone else the last one; we nearly switched to one of their "western" rooms, which had a fireplace but was more like a hotel room, but decided against it. I'm very glad we did. The cabin we wound up in was super cute and cozy. I have a hard time just relaxing on vacations--I always feel like I should be DOING something--but this room was so cozy and happy-making that I actually wanted to spend time in there. It helped that we had two rooms, so we could consign our giant mess pile to the other room and hang out in the coziest one. I also really enjoyed having a cute restaurant and bar right on site, a short walk away. The lake was gorgeous, too, though as it was cold and occasionally ally snowing most of our time there, we mostly just looked at it from various porches. Amazing views of the mountains from just about anywhere on the property, even if you're not RIGHT on the water.

M K.

Yelp
This review is for the kayak rental and the restaurant. We didn't stay here, but wish we had after the disastrous stay up the road. Food was takeout only due to Covid, and the wait was pretty long once the order was placed. Prices were decent given that everything in the area is overpriced. Food was pretty good, too, but nothing to rave about. We also rented several two-person kayaks. The lake is amazing and it was so relaxing. They only had a few two person kayaks and it's first come first serve. One was available to rent when we got there, the other we had to wait on. Luckily the other group came back before someone else wanted to rent the available one. Otherwise we would have had to split up our group and go at different times. By the time we got back (around noon) there was a pretty long wait. So go early.

Erin K.

Yelp
This is a wonderful place to stay while traveling through the Grand Tetons. We had the two room cabin which was comfortable and very spacious which a nice large porch with a picnic table and Adaroncik chairs. Many of the units are right on the lake (so request that if you can). We were initially sad that we had cabin 1 which is right by registration and not in the most picturesque area, but we were lucky enough to have a mama bear and 3 cubs venture through the woods and hang out on our porch. Talk about great pictures! This resort also has free wifi, a beach area with boat launch, a general store, and a restaurant. We ate at Trapper's Grill in the morning and the food was fantastic! The price for the cabin rental was also very reasonable.

Sam R.

Yelp
Had a hearty breakfast here... Service was average, but food was very tasty and views were lovely! Try the Benedict of scramble with the trout -- both were fantastic!!

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
We thought this place was great, the cabin was clean and comfortable. The cabin came with a full size fridge, a Kuerig coffee maker and a small stove. The food was very good even though it was take out. The restaurant and grocery/ coffee bar were open until 8 pm. This gave us plenty of time to explore the park and still be able to have a meal. They also had a nice take out bar service so you could have a cocktail in the evening. Location was great right in front of the mountains and a beautiful lake. Would definitely stay here again.

B B.

Yelp
We stayed in the Cabins and really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was spacious and loved that it was a 2 room log cabin. The front door didn't seem very secure but overall the location is what makes this perfect. Make sure you carry bear spray. Restaurant attached to the hotel was good too.

B W.

Yelp
The room was large and very clean. Front desk was amazing and check in was easy. Our issue was with the noise, the walls are very thin and the people above us with kids sounded like they were dropping bowling balls until 11pm. The view was nice and clearly this is more of a spot for those with boats. If you are just looking for a spot to crash to/fro Jackson and Yellowstone, this was tough. The restaurant is currently closed for covid and you will have to bring food or by stuff at their convenience store. We felt it was a bit overpriced at $400 a night.

Caspar B.

Yelp
We went rafting on a 'float trip' with Mark and Joe. It was the ABSOLUTE HIGHLIGHT of our Grand Teton visit. Joe took us down the river and is an incredibly knowledgeable and made for an amazing experience. He was truly patient with our 9-year old's unending questions to pointing out everything you could possibly want to know. A visit to Grand Teton without this trip is a real miss.

David L.

Yelp
A pretty good value for staying in a lodge in a national park and you get free wireless too! We stayed in cabin 166 which overlooked the lake. It was a 1-bedroom cabin with a living area and kitchenette. The location is just about 15 minutes drive from Jenny Lake and just 5 minutes drive from the popular wildlife and fall foliage spots of Oxbow Bend and Willow Flats. The decor is rather 1970s but it's still a great value.

Monica K.

Yelp
This is absolutely the best place to stay anywhere in the Teton/Yellowstone area. Comfortable beds, charming rooms, amazing lake views, and the best food in either park... These are just a few of the perks you'll enjoy here! This lodge is situated in the center of Grand Teton National Park, a 30 minute drive to Jackson Hole airport or to the south gate of Yellowstone. It's just a quick drive to Jenny Lake, swimming at String Lake, and numerous hiking trails. The property has several amenities onsite, including a gas station, convenience/general store, campgrounds, boat launch, casual restaurant (Trapper's Grill), fine dining restaurant (The Peaks), souvenir shop, and pub (Deadman's Bar). Both restaurants are surprisingly good by any standards and very reasonably priced - a welcome change from the crappy, overpriced park food you'll find everywhere else! The reception/lobby building doubles as a multi-use/ lounge area for guests. There is wi-fi throughout and separate areas with tables, chairs, & couches for working and relaxing. Two communal computers are available as well as cable TV for your daily fix. In the morning there is great fresh-brewed coffee for you to enjoy on the back porch or take on the road. You can also re-fill on ice here - They dole it out for free by the sackful. We booked late and had to do a room change for our two-night stay. The first night we were in a "rustic cabin", which turned out to be a super charming, cozy log cabin with two heated bedrooms, bathroom, and mini-fridge. The beds were so comfortable, this was the best night's sleep of the trip. As an added bonus, we happened to have a great view of Lake Jackson! The second night we moved into one of the more expensive "upper lake view" cabins. The view here was totally unobstructed and panoramic... Awesome, basically! This cabin had a kitchenette with burners, full-sized fridge, and microwave. There were two queen beds and a sleeper sofa. Though this cabin had a better view and was a little bigger than where we were the first night, we still preferred the more charming rustic cabin, which was outfitted with comfy beds for five of us (two queens + 1 twin). We signed up for a scenic float tour down the snake river, which I highly recommend. It was $60/head - the same price as float trips run by outside vendors. Our guide, Caleb, shared all kinds of cool information about the park history, geology, wildlife, etc. He also knew all of the best places to see big game. Great tour! Definitely stay at Signal Lodge if you are looking for a home base in the Tetons! Check out my separate reviews for both restaurants.

Kait S.

Yelp
We were here on the first day of the season, May 8th, they literally just opened. They were running a special rate on cabins, so call to book the staff is very nice.(have some patients, their who system works on wifi) We booked a one room fireplace cabin for the night and man, it was perfect! Rustic looking but super comfortable! Heat, bathroom, hot water and a full size bed that was actually comfortable. No weird smell in the cabin and beautiful views from the porch (with chairs). We cooked breakfast and lunch on our backpacking stove on the porch and enjoyed the Peaks Restaurant for dinner overlooking Jackson Lake. Can't speak to water activities, but I hope to come back in the summer and take advantage of the boat dock and such. Good hiking near by as well as tons of wildlife.

Kate P.

Yelp
This review is only for the Signal Mountain sunset float down the Snake and as the 5-stars should tell you, it was f'ing fantastic! We didn't see a ton of wildlife. Just a few bald eagles, a beaver and a bunch of geese, but there was just something about seeing Wyoming from the Snake ... at sunset ... while hearing stories of the area from our awesome guide, Nick, that made it one of my favorite nights of our vacation. A few notes. Don't worry about getting wet, it was a really gentle float, but be sure to bring layers as the temperature dropped considerably from the time we left at 6pm to the time we got back to the Lodge at 9pm. And if you want, bring snacks and bevvies. We brought a small cooler and some plastic cups (they don't want glass falling into the river) and the chips and beers were a perfect addition to the trip. And for anyone reading this review at Signal Mountain ... Nick is AWESOME!!! Keep that man on your staff and double his salary, would ya!?! ;)

Judith S.

Yelp
The meals we had at their restaurant were less then mediocre/ essentially flavorless Our view for a $ 400. Nite room was magnificent The nachos they rave about was the worst I ever had!! Save your money We. Took the snake river trip and that was lovely I imagined we would have a view from our beds but the beds were in a separate room with no views at all!!i do have to say our beds and pillows were beyond comfortablebut the room was dark

Lan D.

Yelp
This place is a bit tacky in terms of decor, but it is actually quite spacious. Each room is a small cabin with spacious standing shower (like you're at the gym where there's not individual enclosed glass shower areas). Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided in these dispensers (again, like at the gym). Beds are comfortable enough. After a bit, despite the corny decor, it starts to grow on you. I particularly enjoyed the small wooden table in the room and the rocking chairs on the front porch. Parking near your cabin is no guarantee, so that's a small downside. Another is that there is not internet in the cabin. For that you have to go to the main office and use their wi-fi. But when your'e in this part of the country I suppose wi-fi is the last thing you should be concerned about. Overall, this is a great place to regroup after or before a day of exploring Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons.

Spadlo G.

Yelp
Friendly camp staff and generally clean campsites make this a good stop for campers seeking views of the Teton range. Well-stocked gift shop, bar and restaurants along with a quick-mart/gas station, laundry and showers should meet almost all your needs while in this wilderness area. We enjoyed the food at Trappers Grill but we really questioned the patio set up. In what universe is it a good idea to place dirty bus bins over clean flatware, hot sauce and other supposedly fresh table items? Wait staff explained to us that management is 'saving their backs' by not expecting bus bins to be placed low on the carts. While that seems honorable, where is the actual management of this patio area? When trout tacos are $16 management can certainly figure out a way to be hygienic and sanitary when it comes to serving their clientele. Do some innovation, think smarter, spend some money on getting a new silverware bin (that isn't broken,) and make this a professional set up. Or is mgmt just trying to save their assets? Again, the food was good. The serving people teams are very attentive. (And, no, we are not associated with any of the wait staff. We asked them a genuine question. So, management if you're reading this don't bust their chops over this.) But as anyone with a foodhandlers card from any state in the 50 knows: ****Do not stock dirty over clean.!!*** Besides, every dust covered boot, pollen crusted sneaker and flip-flopped foot trudges right where all the spoons, knives, forks are stocked. Fix this! Actually fix it,actually address it and actually take care of your seasonal help to gain back the remaining two stars.

Yelp
The review is for the restaurant. Like all accommodations and food inside a national park, it is expensive. However, unlike many other places we've eaten at inside national parks, the food is good and even a relatively good value considering the portion size. My husband had a trout dish and I went with a salad and soup. Even the kids meals were decent. We regret not ordering dessert as the people next to us had an amazing looking huckleberry pie. This was early on in our summer trip and we thought we had plenty of time to get some huckleberry pie. Unfortunately, none of the pies we ended up trying looked as good as the one at this place. Service is rather slow but you have a nice view to make up for it.

Yelp
This is really more like a 2 star hotel for a 4 star price! We stayed with family for a night while visiting Grand Teton National Park. The location is great since they are located next to Jackson lake. The window was filled with bugs and very dirty and I really think window and curtain could use an update. Also we had to play exterminator the first night of our stay. There was no mosquitos sign at the front desk of the lodge but we had to handle a few mosquito bites. For the price we paid, I expected better. Also be careful when renting a boat from here. We decided to rent a boat to see Jackson Lake. Merely for convenience, we selected this marina. The process of getting through the rental was so simple and easy. But when we returned they claimed the prop was damaged and charged us $200 extra. I really wish I had inspected the prop myself before going out, though I'm not sure I would have thought something so minor would incur a charge of $200! Overall I found the experience of staying here underwhelming and not worth the price paid.

Yelp
Save your money. Room with view is $450/night. Rooms are mediocre. Food is okay, but nothing to write home about. They allow dogs in rooms (for fee,) but dogs not allowed in National Parks. Skip it. Not worth time and/or headache. Better lodges out there for the money.

Yelp
Great view and free wifi. But with the a ~$230 room you'd think they'd be able to update it things a bit but when you're the only game in town.... Also, seemed like our deck had maybe bat issues?

Yelp
This was a great place to stay. The quaint looking cottages were spectacular on in the inside. I lived my porch view. There was not a bad seat in the place. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The view is spectacular. What I loved most about this lodge was decreasing carbon footprint. They have worked really hard to reduce, reuse and recycle and I commend them it. Proves it can be done if you are motivated enough. We will definitely book here again!!

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place. Convenient location with maximum half an hour travel time from any part of the park. The lodges are very rustic yet comfortable. Beautiful views of the Tetons and Jackson lake from some rooms and restaurants. The Signal Mountain Lodge area has it all! Free WiFi for the guests, gas station, convenience store, 2 restaurants on premises and a bar. Very easy access to Jackson Lake and recreations. Highly recommended place. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
The accommodations were good, the food excellent! We took relaxing float trip down the Snake River one morning (the afternoons can be windy). Very relaxing. Mark, our guide, was very knowledgeable and engaging. He made the trip a part learning experience, part stand up comedy routine. A fun morning! Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
After a day of hiking through the marvelous Tetons, this spot delivers great beer, tasty food and a convivial atmosphere in a lakeside setting with a view of the mountains. What more could one want? Everything we had was very good - the garlicky sweet potato fries, smoked trout cobb salad, and bison burger. The salad was especially delicious, abundant and flavorful with an enormous array of ingredients, topped by trout that was fresh and moist with a hint of cedar flavor. Thankfully, our server let us take our time easing from course to course as the sun began to set over Jenny Lake. Definitely an experience I'd repeat on my next visit to the area.

Yelp
Our family of four stayed in a lakefront duplex. It was clean and comfortable and the views couldn't be beat. We were in the middle of a big camping trip and were very pleased to find that our room had a full sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher and sink which allowed us to clean up and keep all our cooler food cold. This is unusual for lodging within the national parks. The shower was great with perfect water pressure. The Trapper restaurant was able to accommodate us and the other family we were travelling with easily and quickly and the food was good and fairly priced. Our server was excellent. We even saw a black bear from the deck of the restaurant. The only reason it gets four stars is it is very expensive, definitely a splurge.
