Signal Mountain

We drove up to Signal Mountain and it was such a beautiful stop in Grand Teton. The drive is about 5 miles one way and the road is narrow and winding, so we took it slow especially with oncoming traffic. Once we reached the top, we were rewarded with a panoramic view of the Teton Range, Jackson Lake, the Snake River, and the valley below. It was a hazy, smoky day when we visited so it was challenging to see the Teton Range clearly, but the view was still worth it. There’s also a restroom available at the top which was convenient after the drive. The view gives a different perspective of the park and we’re glad we made the stop. I highly recommend you check it out when you’re visiting Grand Teton!!

The road to the top point was narrow and curvy. In some places, only single lane road. At one point, stopped thinking to reached at top, and hikes down for a while. Actually it was not the highest point, but the hike dis not go futile. Got to see the beautiful valley and the mountain range. From the Signal mountain top also, could see the another side of the valley but had to come down quickly because of insects/ants attack.😀

Provided a great view of the valley opposite of the Tetons. For a great view of the Tetons behind Jackson Lake stop at the Jackson Lake Overlook on the way up. When we were here it seemed that there was some kind of biting fly, we didn't get bit but several others said that it was a pretty painful bite.

Great lookout point over the valley with the Snake River and the Tetons. Not a bad drive up the mountain and a very accessible area to walk around and take photographs at the top.

Walked all the way up to the top of "Signal Mountain" to enjoy STUNNING views of the vast valley below... WOW!! My trip and picts date back from August 2019 ❤️

After a 25 min drive to the top you get the awesome view of Teton range and the valley view. Point is 7727ft(2355m) high and worth to see.

Gorgeous view and a short drive to the top. Good trail for summiting too.

Worth the hike for the views.
