Signal Records

The perfect record store. This place had such well curated stock in every genre. There’s not a ton of records but everything in each section is something you wanted to buy. I had such a great time flipping through here and if I had another hour or two would’ve enjoyed digging through the bargain bins underneath. I found a couple of fantastic Brazilian and records from Portugal here, but there were also lots of blues, jazz, and rock records I wanted that were just a bit out of my budget. The guy working the desk was very cool and friendly and played great records while I was in there.

Went to three record stores in the area. Signal was by far the best. Some of the friendliest staff I’ve encountered. They give you the best prices BY FAR for your trade in vinyls and also have a great selection of well priced vinyls. Huge shoutout to Dora who helped find exactly what I needed and went the extra step to help me out! Will return again based on staff alone!

Dora is super cool and knowledgeable. Turned me on to some band I’ve never heard of while playing in the store. And we bonded over Antenna, Indiana’s best (almost) forgotten neo-psych indie shoe gaze pop masters…

Great selection of records ! Love that they have a separate section for Post punk / Metal, etc. Rare Japanese records, and a nice set up to listen to the record before you buy them

Great team and music selection, my type of vibe. Being able to play the vinyl for the whole store is a plus too!

Excellent selection, constant inflow of interesting new stuff you cant find anywhere else. The bargain bins are full of hidden treasures. Staff is chill and very helpful.

Stellar, very diverse selection. Picked up a handful of things I didn’t necessarily need but absolutely love. (Isn’t that the point of a record store?)
