Themà restaurant at Sikelia is an absolute gem! It’s a truly magical experience. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with genuine warmth that makes you feel like an old friend. The setting is elegant yet relaxed, the atmosphere perfectly balancing sophistication with a Sicilian soul. Giulia is the heart of it all; her good taste and hospitality shines in every detail. I think you can feel her dedication not just in the service, but in the entire spirit of the place. The food is nothing short of spectacular — vibrant, authentic flavors elevated by creativity and precision. Every dish tastes like it was made with both tradition and love, using the freshest ingredients. Whether you’re a local or visiting for the first time, Sikelia is the kind of place you’ll dream about long after you’ve left. I came to see Sikelia with my mom, my sister and my boyfriend and we had an amazing vacation. It is a very quiet and calm property that has very peaceful and relaxing energy. The food was amazing and the owner Giulia was very attentive and really cares to know her guest on a deeper personal level. We had an amazing dinner at Coste Ghirlanda one night and it was in a BEAUTIFUL setting! The location is great and close to the Scauri port where we did a boat day. Overall, I highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

Restaurant was top-notch. The best food we had on the island. Local ingredients, put up together in an elaborate way, with killer taste and beautiful presentation. Dishes are small so would recommend at least an antipasti, and a primi + secondi. It’s quite expensive. The staff is very attentive. The maître d’ was very kind, guided us perfectly on the wine. It was windy that evening, so we had dinner inside, which is certainly less atmospheric than outside. Overall amazing evening. Hotel looks like a slightly modernised take on the dammuso (think bigger windows) and perhaps some rooms have a nice view but overall location is a bit set back on the shoulder of a hill, preventing the kid of jaw dropping views you can have elsewhere on the island. Will try to stay there next time

We booked a table for dinner at the restaurant, without staying at the hotel. The place is very beautiful, but I found the welcome a little cold. The meal was good, but nothing more. In any case, I found the prices far too high and not at all justified. For example, 38 euros for a few mint and ricotta ravioli appetizers doesn't make much sense, in my opinion. Interesting experience if you have some money to spend, but difficult to recommend it.

Sikelia ticks all of the boxes - superb setting, food, rooms, views, location and staff. Even before we arrived, we felt looked after and special - and this only continued throughout the holiday. From superb breakfasts to specially commissioned days out, nothing was too much trouble. Day 2 of being home and it is safe to say we are missing the amazing sunset cocktails and aperitivi, so much so we have gone to the Italian deli to try to recreate a snippet. We stayed half board and are very glad we did - every single course was delicious (and this is coming from an Italian - though our waistlines might be regretting it!). We also ate at the vineyard one evening which was a special setting and equally delicious food (also included in half board). We stayed in The Penthouse - the views were incredible and the room felt like our oasis within an oasis. Everything has been designed with the customer in mind - from the beds, linen and pillows you select, snack bar, Hermes toiletries, wonderful showers, and so on - it is rare we say this, but we will be back!

We only stay @ 5 star hotels & this one is @ the top of our list! From the moment we entered until the (sad) day of our departure, we were enchanted by our beautiful surroundings, exquisite room, delightful staff & delicious food. All of this in the magical island of Pantelleria! The front desk staff’s service & friendliness rivals the best in the world - including our former favorite, the Peninsula in Beverly Hills. Luisa, the general manager is hands on & couldn’t be more helpful in assisting us with the most minute details. Brava! Her front office staff consisting of Alexandra, Gaia & Francesco are simply amazing! WOW! We were truly impressed with their strong desire to help in any way they could. Grazie mille! The breakfast staff was delightful, especially Halim (please forgive spelling). We were privileged to meet the owner/visionary, Giulia, who invited us & other guests to her phenomenal winery, Costa di Ghirlanda, which is a short drive away. We had a grand time & can’t wait to return. We’ve been spoiled beyond what words could fully express.
