Silavadee Pool Spa Resort, Koh Samui, Thailand - Explore & Book

"Silavadee is an exclusive paradise on one of the world’s busiest islands - nestling high amongst limestone rocks between Chaweng and Lamai beaches, it feels a world apart. Designed in sympathy with its spectacular setting, the hotel - whose name means ‘Beautiful Rock’ - is a collection of rooms and villas built from all-natural materials and surrounded by lush palms and the sparkling sea. Dark teak and light cedarwood blend with bamboo and local textiles throughout. Flowing water is a repeated feature, from the fountain at reception to the spa’s wall of water and burbling troughs. Tranquility and relaxation take over from the moment of arrival, and a range of enticing treatments are on offer in the spa for a touch of bliss. Float away in one of the 2 infinity pools and take in the breathtaking views over the azure Gulf of Thailand, or revel in the solitude of the sandy beach. Then linger over delightful food at The Height restaurant, or Sun Moon Star (a terrace, a restaurant, lounge and a rooftop bar), where Thai specialities and European classics are delivered with equal aplomb. Highs Secluded private villas, each with fabulous views Friendly, English-speaking staff give impeccable service with plenty of charm Breakfast is well worth getting up for, with pastries so good that the hotel has opened a bakery on the island, and even a smoothie/juice making station Free minibus to Chaweng and Lamai beaches... although the hotel has a private bay which is small but stunning, and free of crowds and hawkers Lows There are refurbishments planned between April - December 2025 but all services should be running, some in alternative locations A lack of distinctive Thai design and colour The restaurants can be quite empty in the evenings, as most guests head to livelier areas at night-time, though the rooftop bar (Star) is proving popular Some feel the spa is overpriced, although the treatments are wonderful" - Emma Whiteacre

Holy cow, I loved this hotel. I only stayed one night to have some solo time before a group yoga training down the road. I thought I had one of the nicer rooms cause it was literally amazing. Huge tub and shower, spacious room around the king bed, soaking tub/jacuzzi on the porch with a couch, etc. But after seeing other pictures, many of the rooms have private pools for each unit. The ocean view is breathtaking, and the private beach was also incredible. I went down around 1 and I was the only one there! Complete with service, towels and lounge chairs. It was a nice beach for shells and sea glass, so I could see kids killing a lot of time there too. ||The service was great and I was really impressed with the Thai dishes at the restaurant on site. I had a full dinner and lunch there. They did have a number of things under construction as they upgrade the property (mostly dining), and although you could see that with the way things were blocked off, it didn't impact my stay. ||The rooms include ample toiletries, a yoga mat, dried fruits, and other complimentary treats. I literally stayed in my room until 12pm check out because I loved it so much.

The hotel’s semi-private beach is fabulous! You can enjoy a peaceful moment sitting by the seaside, either under the shade of the trees or under the sun. The staff would bring you a glass of iced water. The service is very good. Staffs are very friendly. Thai food at the moon restaurant was much better than expected, even for Thai people like me. The breakfast is great. They serve variety of food, including moo ping (grilled pork skewer) with sticky rice and freshly pressed orange juice. The downside includes a disturbing noise from a construction and a closure of some facilities (this will go on until the end of 2025).

Great place but didn’t feel 5 star apart from the staff and excellent breakfast. Renovation is going on and will bother you during your stay.Resort provided 500 baht discount per person for the same and 1 hour unlimited drinks at the restaurant. Water color in the room is brown for most of the times and sound proofing is very poor.Private beach is good with sun beds. Corals are dead so not a great place to snorkel. But the drinking ice water at the beach feels so good. Overall a good time spent although very expensive!

My stay at the resort was absolutely magical. The villa was beyond amazing in both design and cleanliness, and the view was simply breathtaking. The private pool was beautiful and very clean. From beginning to end, everything was perfect. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I truly had a wonderful experience and would love to return again.

Probably one of the best hotels in Thailand in terms of service and amenities. We stayed at the hotel from May 25 to 27 for two nights, and it was absolutely unbelievable. Starting with the hotel views and pool villas — they’re outstanding. Many people have already talked about this, so I won’t go into too much detail. However, when it comes to the service — the staff were always proactive and enthusiastic. They knew which villa we were staying in and anticipated our special requests even before we asked. Their service was incredibly efficient. I was honestly shocked when I requested a technician to fix the master switch at 11:30 PM, and he arrived within 10 minutes, ladder in hand. I also had a mild eye infection and asked the hotel if they had anything that could help. They provided me with a brand-new eye washer free of charge and even took me to the nearest pharmacy to buy eye drops. I’m extremely thankful for the warm-hearted staff and truly amazed by how attentive and efficient they are. I will definitely come back to this place — and not too long from now!

Beautiful rooms (private pool villa ocean view) the food was amazing albeit a little pricey. The staff were amazing throughout our stay. Wish we could have stayed for longer. 100 % recommend. The app for communicating with the resort was fantastic. All hotels and resorts should have this app.

Love this place! Service is top notch. Location is amazing. Amenities- anything you want there is free from the fruit to the orange juice sparkling wine treats every afternoon. They can book a tour for you to the marine park. They can book your motorbike or your shuttle. The restaurant was fantastic and we really liked Seakim and Ann - outstanding people

|I would like to thanks all the staff in Silavadee for arranging our wedding. They have made it truly amazing. As a couple who are from overseas, and who have never been to Koh Samui, everything was uncertain for us. However, Su and Tik have made the whole thing so smooth and stress free really. All the details from the moment we walked into the hotel were perfect. All the staff greeted us with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Rooms were amazing, super clean and huge. One thing to note, they are a green hotel, so they do not have an elevator. This might cause some trouble for those who are not physically fit but the hotel staff was able to swap room for my guests during the stay, which was fantastic. The dinner we had was soooo good and the mango sticky rice was 😋😋||I have to mention the breakfast as well. This is one of the best hotel breakfasts we had. As I am a vegetarian, the hotel was able to cater for us and make me a fresh bowl of noodles every morning. The pad sew ew is still the best so far I had across the whole Thailand. The fried rice and egg Benedict is a must try as well. ||
