We stayed here expecting a five-star experience, but unfortunately it felt closer to a three to four-star hotel overall.
The hotel is extremely child-friendly, so if you are looking for a peaceful or relaxing stay, I would not recommend it. During our stay we had crying children on both sides of our room, and the main pool area was very busy with kids playing. The pool itself is quite small, with limited seating, roughly around 20 loungers, which made it feel crowded.
That said, our jacuzzi room was beautiful and a real highlight. The room was spacious, well designed, with plenty of storage, a very comfortable bed, and a lovely ocean view. We couldn’t fault the room itself.
We also had high hopes for the private beach, but on arrival it was covered in trash, seaweed, and fallen branches, and looked like it hadn’t been maintained for some time, which was very disappointing.
The food was okay, but far from what you would expect from a five-star hotel. While we were aware of the construction works before arriving, the amount and visibility of it still took away from the relaxing atmosphere we were hoping for.
The staff were genuinely lovely and attentive, though some appeared quite inexperienced and we often had to look for someone to order food or drinks. I’m sure this will improve with more training.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless you are travelling with family or small children. Unfortunately, it didn’t deliver the calm, luxury experience we were hoping for.
