Silvanus Hotel

Hotel Silvanus is one of the most relaxing experiences you can have. The hotel's strengths can be summed up by its exceptional setting between the hills and the Danube. Various activities are within walking distance, such as the castle or the bobsleigh (both for families and for romantics). The panoramic restaurant's offer is breathtaking, and both breakfast and dinner are excellent. I was able to discover many typical Hungarian dishes. Finally, the hotel's wellness area and facilities don't come close to being of the highest quality and cleanliness. The staff are adorable and everything is taken care of down to the last detail. I highly recommend a stay at Hotel Silvanus !

Fantastic outlook on Danube bend if you select a room with river panorama. Excellent kitchen and service. Wide variaty of wellness offered. Easy nearby trails to discover the environment. Unfortunately the the fortress museum (Fellegvár) on the next hilltop is closed from Monday to Thursday.

This hotel is simply indescribably beautiful! The location and the view alone deserve at least 4 stars! You have a fantastic view of the Danube and the surrounding area!|The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. The food is varied and very good. Our visit to Sylvanus Hotel was a blend of positives and negatives. Firstly, the location offers a stunning view of the valley, enhancing the overall experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, even going the extra mile to send back forgotten items promptly. However, the room size left much to be desired, and the spa facilities fell short of expectations. Despite the inviting surroundings, the spa was small and often overcrowded. It was disappointing to find it closed in the morning, limiting early access. Additionally, the quality of the spa amenities was average, lacking the features one might expect from a four-star establishment. While the food selection was satisfactory, it failed to leave a lasting impression. Furthermore, the inconsistency in parking fees was confusing, as it seemed to vary depending on one’s status as a hotel or restaurant guest. Overall, Sylvanus Spa Hotel offers a decent stay with its picturesque views and courteous staff. However, improvements are needed in room size, spa facilities, and food quality to truly merit a higher rating.

A little old-fashioned but very nice hotel with friendly staff and a good restaurant with wide selection. The wellness area is not so big but we were in January when there were not many guests so the size of wellness areas were more than enough. There is a panorama jacuzzi outside, which is really cool.

This is the best and 'most classic' hotel experience I've ever had. The staff is so polite, every detail is so well thought out and executed, so clean and elegant... It was really something special to be there. I highly recommend for non-Hungarians as well, since everyone speaks English and it is a good starting point to know Hungary's countryside: wellness, hiking, bobsleigh, and old castle - all very close to it.

Amazing place. There is even a playhouse - which is not really advertised and our kids loved it - useful :) - they have animator, too there. The new year's eve party was nicely organized - particularly loved the jazz music nights.
