Our visit to Sylvanus Hotel was a blend of positives and negatives. Firstly, the location offers a stunning view of the valley, enhancing the overall experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, even going the extra mile to send back forgotten items promptly.
However, the room size left much to be desired, and the spa facilities fell short of expectations. Despite the inviting surroundings, the spa was small and often overcrowded. It was disappointing to find it closed in the morning, limiting early access. Additionally, the quality of the spa amenities was average, lacking the features one might expect from a four-star establishment.
While the food selection was satisfactory, it failed to leave a lasting impression. Furthermore, the inconsistency in parking fees was confusing, as it seemed to vary depending on one’s status as a hotel or restaurant guest.
Overall, Sylvanus Spa Hotel offers a decent stay with its picturesque views and courteous staff. However, improvements are needed in room size, spa facilities, and food quality to truly merit a higher rating.
