All I have to say is WOW!! The 2018 Reserve Cabernet was wonderful!! And all the reds I tasted were very delicious. The winery is beautiful and the view is amazing. I met the owner/wine maker. He was very nice and hospitable. This winery was a very nice surprise to discover. I joined the wine club and looking forward to more bottles.

We loved our wine tasting experience. Dan was educational fun and engaging. We will definitely be coming back. The atmosphere here is stunning. The views are spectacular. Of course the wines were exceptional!

Absolutely AMAZING experience! We visited as a big group of girls for my bachelorette trip, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The views were stunning, and everything felt tailored specifically to our celebration. Avery truly went above and beyond—he made us feel like royalty from the moment we arrived. The wine was incredible, and he even added special touches like a fun champagne pop game and playing a song for me on the piano. Every detail made the day feel extra special and unforgettable. Highly recommend this winery for any celebration or girls’ trip—10/10!!

Google
This is one of the best cellars in the area, with amazing views to top it off. We were on a weekend road trip and decided to swing by on our way back to the city—such a good call! They have a great selection of wines, and the staff really know their stuff. Just tell them what you usually like, and they'll give you spot-on recommendations. The outdoor views are stunning—perfect for events, and I can totally see it being a beautiful spot for a wedding. Highly recommend checking it out. We'll definitely be coming back!

Google
As a first time wine-taster, I had an incredible experience at Silvara. I have always wanted to visit a winery and I am so glad I chose this beautiful place. The atmosphere was gorgeous and the staff were welcoming. Dana was extremely knowledgeable and easy to chat with. Every wine we tasted was delicious but my favorite was the Winemaker’s Reserve White Blend and the Brute Rose Sparkling Wine. I can’t wait to come back for another visit!

Google
Wonderful place with cozy indoor seating. However, you can not beat the vistas that come with outdoor seating on a beautiful day. Staff was welcoming and had good recommendations. We both had a good tasting experience and had our favorites selected. Definitely took a few bottles of those with us. This place is definitely one of the better ones in the area.

Google
My group of veteran wine drinkers thoroughly enjoyed the wines here. Tamara was really amazing to work with. She is very knowledgeable and her customer service is top notch. She even put on blues music for us. The Woodland Goddess was my favorite. Tamara put together a spritzer of Prosecco and a sweet wine that my friends purchased. It was quite good. Wines were reasonably priced. We walked out with several cases.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a wine tasting class at Silvara Winery in Leavenworth, Washington, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. Our guide for the session was Avery, and his passion for wine and knowledge of the local varietals really shone through. From the moment we arrived, the beautiful winery setting made for a perfect backdrop. The tasting room itself was warm and inviting, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, which added to the overall charm of the experience. Avery led us through a selection of Silvara’s best wines, explaining the unique characteristics of each, as well as the winemaking process behind them. He was engaging, informative, and had an incredible ability to make complex wine terminology feel accessible to all levels of wine drinkers. Whether you’re a seasoned connoisseur or just a casual wine enthusiast, he made everyone feel welcome. The wines themselves were exquisite, with a great balance of bold reds and crisp whites. The charcuterie pairing was absolutely fantastic, and I had such a wonderful time. The selection of meats, cheeses, and accompaniments complemented each other perfectly, making for a truly memorable experience. Looking forward to doing it again!

Yelp
Loved this place on our way into Leavenworth. Probably some of the better wines, especially reds, for the area. Nice view and a lodgy feel. There is a farm stand at the bottom of the hill with some fun things to do for kids. Will come back.

Yelp
Came in on a Saturday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to hear live music. We ordered 4 different wines within our group to try. I ordered the huckleberry and it ended up being my least favorite. I think it needed just a bit more berry flavor as it felt like just another rose. The Syrah was my favorite out of the 4 we sampled. The view is stunning out of the front of the building.

Yelp
Amazing wines and offer sparkly flight which was. 10/10! We were here at October fest weekend and was great! Beautiful location Staff were so sweet and friendly! Definitely recommend, Thanks silvara cellars!

Yelp
This was our first tasting while in Washington. We have done many tastings all over the world. This one felt pretty impersonal and on the edge of self serve. You pick your three wines at the counter and off you go. The seating and lawn are enjoyable. We purchased 3 bottles of the Cab reserve. They refunded one of our tastings because the purchase was over 120. ( most will refund if you purchase a bottle). We later discovered the charge for each of our 3 wine flight tastings was 54.20!! The website clearly says 25.00. Enjoy the view and the wine. Watch your charges.

Yelp
Lovely setting and terrific wines, as well as cider. Service can be slow but it's all good - just come here to relax. There's a covered area and umbrellas over tables.

Tanzy W.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience! First you have the incredible views of Leavenworth Then you have some truly memorable wines! We did an igloo evening with a tasting and then enjoyed the surrounding mountains with our favorite wines. The cab blend was stellar and paired with a lovely charcuterie. If the Consierge recommends a wine, try it. I have some favorites, but the manager/Consierge was so thoughtful in her recommendations...she was knowledgeable and her enthusiasm for what Silverado is bringing to the table is contagious. Thank you Silverado and Tamera for a wonderful "first" experience with your hospitality.

Yelp
Came here while at Leavenworth and I'm sad that I can only buy their wine from here. It's so good and refreshing. Wish I can get it in the city. Tried the White Stag, White Blend. Huckleberry, and two other on the house for their best sellers. Our host, Tamara was amazing too, literally gave so many tasting that are glass filled worth of wine. Ended up getting a bottle of the White Stag. And will be coming back for sure next time we are in the area.

Yelp
Avery is outstanding! LOVE LOVE LOVE Silvara Cellars- the wines are delicious and the service unparalleled -- ALL wines we tried were wonderful- beautiful and picturesque location off Hy 2 just outside of downtown Leavenworth- do yourself a favor and stop by- don't be surprised if you can't leave

Lukas Van V.

Yelp
Dan was incredible! My girlfriend and I are in the industry, and we called morning of to book a tasting. Dan answered and was so excited to host us. When we arrived he remembered our names and took great care of us. His hospitality and customer service was 10/10. We highly recommend coming to Silvara whenever you are in the area and recommend Dan as your server!

Monica V.

Yelp
Beautiful location no matter what time of year! Dad & I spontaneously stopped in and Avery invited us to do their wine & cheese tasting it was an unexpected delight! Plus Avery played the piano at the end - thank you for a lovely experience.

Yelp
If you are in the Leavenworth area, this is a must. I can't wait to go back and visit again. Ambience = 5 stars Service = 5 stars Wine = 5+ stars Meeting and chatting with Gary, owner and winemaker = 10 stars. Visited on a weekday for wine tasting. The grounds are beautiful with a great view of the mountains. We tried the premium and regular tasting. All of the wines were wonderful but our favorites were the Malbec and the Reserve Red Wine Blend. We met Gary, the owner and winemaker, and he was a delight. Got to try his Chardonnay, which is usually too buttery for me but his was crisp and not too buttery. It was a wonderful afternoon to be out there.

Yelp
I used to love this place but I had a very average experience last time I went. The servers seemed very uninterested and borderline rude and really weren't helpful to us at all. They were really strict and short with us for no reason and ignored us for a long time when we got there. It was so awkward. And while they were taking our order, they would leave to go greet members, who they were super warm to. It was just really weird, and I don't think we were doing anything to warrant such cold behavior. When we checked out, I tried to describe how we wanted to split the check, and I felt like the girl didn't listen and intentionally overcharged me. I work in a winery too and know how stressful it can be, but I don't think their behavior was acceptable for being in the service industry. The view was nice, but there were lots of kids and a decent amount of dog hair on the outdoor furniture (I love dogs, so this didn't bother me too much). The wine was unremarkable to me, and they wouldn't let us try many of the wines on the menu so we could have just missed some of the good ones. I'll likely give them another shot since the servers were the main issue, but was still bummed that this place didn't seem as magical as it once was.

Yelp
Beautiful location. Wines were rather pricy and $25 tasting of only 3 wines. I mean come on...this is not Napa Valley. Staff was new and seemed to not know a lot about the wines which we found disappointing as we always like to learn about them. After tasting we got a bottle to enjoy outside. Our friends got a bottle of the Rose as well and they were given an insulated jacket to keep their bottle cold while they enjoyed it Second disappointment!! IT's attention to detail and the little things that make for a good experience. Unfortunately they lacked this for us.

Lindsay W.

Yelp
Beautiful venue, and great wine! The staff were welcoming, and the menu had very detailed descriptions of the wines. The view is nice, but it is right off the highway so the noise of traffic is very present.
google avatar

Yelp
Took my girlfriend here due to her growing taste in wines and the love for the outdoors. When we went this last weekend they had an amazing live singer, Chris Ward. Shout out to you! The service was great and while we were outside in the sun. Then came the cherry on top, with a lovely couple inviting us to sit with them due to us not have an umbrella at our table. The setting was beautiful and definitely will be coming back there again anytime we come and visit Leavenworth! 5/5 recommend

Yelp
We stopped by Silvara Cellars on a hot, midweek afternoon. We wanted to check out the vineyard and grab a wine to enjoy at home. At the start of our time in Leavenworth, we had planned to explore a bunch of vineyards, seeing that we were living in a major wine producing area. Every time we drove down the road to view a river or check out a trail, we passed by many wineries, and even more farm land producing grapes to sell. Unfortunately, we only made it to two or three wineries. It is hard to do everything you want in an area as full as Leavenworth and still have a full-time job. We went to the Silvara, a cellar at the top of a hill overlooking the valley full of fruit trees, grapes, and the Wenatchee River. The mountains in the background capped the view. Inside, the server let us sample a couple of their wines before we made our choice. It was a quality, dry red that I would look for again.

Sharon C.

Yelp
What a lovely experience! Our host was from Chile and was fabulous! He was very knowledgeable and made this experience a lot of fun. It was truly an experience, from learning about the wines to enjoying the company. The wines are great! The manager of the winery was also very accomodating and had a fantastic attitude. They definitely sold me on the wine and the experience. I've done several wine tastings, and this one defintely is at the top of. my list of overall wonderful experiences! Thank you.

Yelp
I came here on Aug 15 almost nearing closing time and wish we came earlier to spend more time. First of all, tremendous service. I'll be honest... a lot of wineries can either be rude or refuse to give me the time of day and a part of my assumption is maybe because I look too young to afford the wine or appreciate it? Who knows. But the person working behind the counter was one of the best people I've interacted with in so long (I'm so sorry I didn't get a name!!). He was so accommodating, extremely knowledgable, and made sure to pick the best wine according to me and my boyfriend's taste buds. He asked us about our lives and backgrounds and we got to chatting. It was just an enjoyable experience from the beginning. Next, the wine. Great selection overall, but they only had 2 white wines. Regardless they were both delicious so I ended up buying a bottle home and actually wish I bought 2 (or even a whole case). And finally, the view. Yes it's not some crazy view overlooking a lake or a field of flowers but this was a great lookout in my opinion and felt very peaceful. Highly recommend this place to everyone :)

Marie S.

Yelp
This is my favorite winery in Leavenworth. The wines are good. I love the lodge and sitting outside. The events and live music are great. We love the wine club and have been members for 3 years.
google avatar

Amber S.

Yelp
5 star view! It's so beautiful. The wine was good and they have snacks that you can pick from the fridge. This makes snacks quite pricey. It seems most of the wineries in woodinville don't have snacks, so it's nice to have the option!
google avatar

Cecille D.

Yelp
Nice winery and enjoyed their wine. A bit surprised when I purchased 4 bottles of wine and was given a shabby box to carry out. Asked for a another box and was told they only had 3 bottle box. Really?
google avatar

Olivia B.

Yelp
This is a great place to relax, sip wine, and enjoy the view! We loved looking over the apple and pear orchards. Our group ordered flights and then shared a bottle of the chardonnay. We also purchased some prepackaged prosciutto and cheese, and they put them on a cute plate/spread for us.
google avatar

Yelp
Had a great time at SILVARA. We came early during the week day so its wasn't crowded and we enjoyed 2 glasses of wine in peace and relax. We end up buying 2 nice wine bottles because we are during our 3 month traveling from California and we cant buy too much, otherwise I would love to buy their nice wine glasses and more Huckleberry wine. That was my favorite. The guy at the reception was super nice and sweet he took his time to explain to every group about wine. Highly recommend. Just a short drive from DT Leavenworth. So its very convenient.

Cam D.

Yelp
Our 5th annual Silvara Cellars tradition came to an end today when we were told kids under 14 were no longer allowed at the winery per their insurance. This is after we were asked if we were wine club members and after we were told last year that our kids needed to remain seated or we'd be asked to leave (note: our kids were well behaved and we were not asked to leave last year). Mind you no signs are posted about their kid policy and they waited until we unloaded our kids from the car and we were getting settled to tell us of their new policy. We've never encountered this in the 30+ wineries we've taken our kids to. In regards to our previous trips to Silvara...The wine has never been remarkable and the service has been mediocre, but the location is good. I won't miss going there in the future. The region has many better options. Cam

Yelp
Spent a memorable afternoon sampling some of the best reds I've tasted in a long time. There's good reason the Woodland Goddess and Carmenere are award winners, so delicious! The whites were just as fantastic. Hard to pick a favorite had to buy them all! This is a must stop winery from the beautiful view, friendly customer service and of course top notch vino!

Yelp
My partner, two children, 5 and 6, and I visited on Mother's Day. As we were approaching an umbrella table I was greeted by a man who asked, "Are those yours?" Referring to my children. He told me children were not allowed, at which point o looked around and saw several at other tables. He aggressively and rudely kept telling me children were not allowed. He finally identified himself as the owner, and at that point I asked if he wanted us to leave, and he said no. We ordered some tasters, (mediocre) and tried to enjoy the view after that interaction. We left shortly after and can say that we will not return!

Seth G.

Yelp
Today was my first time wine tasting, and Donna outdid herself helping my girlfriend and I!! She was super knowledgeable, had great recommendations, and truly made it a positive experience for us. Thank you, Donna! for making our experience so great while on our trip.
google avatar

Khoa N.

Yelp
This was a great experience. We came here with family and have 2 little kids who really enjoyed running around the grass. It was a beautiful view, great music, and the hostess was amazingly nice and pleasant. This was one of our biggest highlights of the trip. We tried 3 different tasting flights. 3 red, 2 Rose, and 5 reds. Our favorite was the woodland goddess red, white blend for the white and their huckleberry Riesling was fantastic. Highly recommend if you are around here.
google avatar

Ian T.

Yelp
Stopped by for a tasting and got a bottle instead. We enjoyed the view, wine and service. They have a nice indoor fireplace as well as a nice patio area overlooking the valley below. The only critique would be a more reasonable tasting option. Overall a great winery.
google avatar

LB C.

Yelp
Delightful location, lovely staff and amazing wine! This is a must stop when wine tasting in the Leavenworth area! Space big, enough for an event but delightful for small groups too!
google avatar

Randi X.

Yelp
This place is beautiful! Visiting from San Diego and the view is better than Temecula's wine country. The white wines were so good but the rose was my favorite. Would definitely recommend. They plate the cheese and crackers for you too.
google avatar

Rebekah A.

Yelp
We came here last weekend to kick off our Leavenworth trip and we had a lovely time! The staff here are extremely friendly and the sommeliers come off very knowledgeable. For a tasting, it is $22 which felt like a good deal for the 5 glasses of wine. They have a selection of cheese and crackers to pick from that you can munch on, but no other food options. We would've stayed all day if they had food! Our favorite wine from the tasting was the Malbec and we ended up snagging a bottle before left! Overall a great time and if we end up in Leavenworth again, we will definitely be back!

Kathryn C.

Yelp
The wine is only okay and single pours were a overpriced. Setting is gorgeous and I think the place's saving grace. The woman working was extremely rude, I think she was the manager. She griped us unnecessarily about our dogs and leaving on time. We felt super unwelcome. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Aaron K.

Yelp
Wonderful setting and reliably rude service this Saturday. There were two servers - one completely kind while the other had an admirably rude approach to customer service. My hunch is this approach to customers could only be served up by a manager. Chastising customers is a common custom in Washington and Silvara is a real stand out. If you're looking for a beautiful setting, ok wine, and rude customer service this is a great stop over while in Leavenworth.

Ashley T.

Yelp
Was excited to visit (as I had in the past) until I saw they changed their child policy which wouldn't allow me to bring my baby - they only allow children aged 14 and up (????). We wine taste a lot and haven't encountered this before, needless to say we were disappointed and are looking forward to trying other places that will allow us to enjoy with our kids as well.

Stephanie L.

Yelp
I come to Leavenworth every year with friends and Silvara has become one of our must dos. The service is really personable and laid back. I really appreciate that no one rushes you and the atmosphere on the patio should not be missed. Selfishly I would love to keep them a secret, but this place really deserves a mention. The wines are impeccable, the best of our trip so far. They win quite a few awards. Austin was our server on our most recent visit and he was a blast, he matched our vibe and added so much to our experience here. The only con is that I don't live nearby, but I will be back whenever I'm in the area. Cheers!

Arianna T.

Yelp
Very snooty workers, not enough seating, not enough glasses for flights, and skimpy on the drinks. I highly recommend Icicle Ridge Winery which is 6 minutes away.
google avatar

Emmalee D.

Yelp
Such a wonderful spot to enjoy some excellent wine. Tammy and Tracy exude stellar friendly attitudes and excellent service! The wine was incredible. Enjoyed a bottle outside yesterday while our dogs relaxed in the beautifully maintained lawn.
google avatar

Karen W.

Yelp
Very friendly people. We weren't able to do wine tastings because of COVID but they had "wine samples" instead. Lovely seating.
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
First time coming to this winery and had a great experience. Dogs were allowed as well as kids which was a huge plus for us. Wines were great and we took home a couple bottles. We were fortunate enough to go on a day that there was live music. All in all a fun winery, would definitely go again.
google avatar

Shawna S.

Yelp
I come from the Walla Walla area where there are a ton of good wineries, but Silvara's wines take the cake ALL of the varietals are amazing. Also, the views here are beautiful. My husband and I went here to taste and ended up spending hours enjoying this gem. If you're in the area, this winery is a must!

Rivkah A.

Yelp
This winery has great view, and cheese and crackers selection. I had the Laura Chèvre and Maple Leaf. Really enjoyed my pick my own flight menu since I have a variety of wines that I enjoy. Brenda was amazing.
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
We enjoyed the wines and really liked the General Manager Tracy and the owner Gary. Both were friendly, easy going and informative. A great experience with our friends. We left with four bottles and will definitely be going back.

Poulina K.

Yelp
Fantastic venue for a wedding, a private dinner party or just a couple of glasses of wine outside in the sun! The location is still work in progress and the owner has a multitude of projects on the docket. A nice new retention wall to complete the front entry facade. There will be a wood fired pizza oven (the only way to have pizza of course), and even a small Shabu Shabu (Japanese hot pot) station to be installed in the near future. One of the winery partners is a professional golfer and she had an opportunity to spend a lot of time in Japan. This may seem a bit random for a winery, but I found it to be creative and fun. Outdoor area has some comfortable seating, sun umbrellas, fire pits and speakers to enjoy relaxing tunes. Inside area boasts a chunky dark wood decor, with plenty of light and air flowing through from the outside. A gorgeous solid wood, long, family style table and benches, with decorative wine barrels in the background and soft lighting. Perfect space for a small private event. We also sampled some wine, their Chardonnay stood out the most. Clean, fruity nose with a complex finish, since the wine is kept in steel barrels, and at the end is aged in oak for a short period of time. I enjoyed it. I think Silvara will be in our regular rotation when visiting east of the mountains.
google avatar

Courtney S.

Yelp
Gorgeous environment, beautiful views, great service, and enjoyable wine. I did a mixed flight and loved the variety they had. Would definitely return!
google avatar

Crystal B.

Yelp
On our annual Girls Week the ladies and I had the pleasure of trying this amazing gem! Not only was the atmosphere open and airy, but it was the first place that all of us enjoyed all the wines we tasted. If your looking for a place that is unique and satisfying, I'd try Silvara Cellars!
google avatar

Kathryn L.

Yelp
Must do while visiting. Beautiful views, friendly service and amazing wine. I did a tasting of: Rose, 2016 Cab, Syrah, Cab, Grenache Thank you!
google avatar

Diane M.

Yelp
We went there several months ago and were very impressed by the wines. We followed up with $700 plus order for several of the wines we liked. I received an invoice but never received the wine I called several times and sent emails but never received a response. I was finally able to reach someone yesterday and just cancelled the order. Lesson: if you want the wine, might be best to just go there and pick it up.
google avatar

Danielle G.

Yelp
Beautiful tasting room up on the hill on your way into Leavenworth. We did a red flight and all the wines were great. Our favorite was the Sangiovese. The staff was very friendly and did a great job describing the different wines. They are only offering outdoor seating right now which could get hot if you're in the sun. Be sure to call ahead and check availability.
