Silver Hills Motel

Accommodation and Restaurant is Best in Town - the steak is to die for!! Rooms are comfortable - beds are firm and make for a great sleep!!||I was in Queenstown for work, it is a great town, quiet, but still full of history and culture! ||I find myself for the second time in 3 months in the area and chose to stay at the Silver Hills Motel, after the great stay two months previous, I was not dissappointed. Great restaurtant - I would recommend the steak, but have had other dishes and all have been awesome!!!||The rooms are well kitted out, the bed is firm, but great for sleeping, the view is spectacular, the closeness to town encourages you to take a walk and see the sights!||I honestly can not recommend this more highly, it is a great establishment, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the whole experience has me waiting impatiently for my next trip to the area, as I will be staying here for sure!!!

Cold room… my daughter and grand children came to visit us in Queenstown and stayed for four nights. No room service or towels changed, until she had to call them and ask for fresh towels on the last night. Very disappointing, beds uncomfortable and room was very basic… nothing to rate really!

The room was ok for cost. But... Unfortunately room layout meant missing out on amazing view of the ⛰️ from bed. My experience sleepless night was not caused by the traffic noise from the road facing windown, but by very upset stomach and vomiting most of the night. The hair I found in the 'lemon & salt squid' at the in house restaurant should maybe have been a clue. Just sharing my experience

Friendly helpful staff. The dinner was very good and generous. The rooms were clean but dated.

Small rooms and minimal places to put luggage and clothes. |Microwave but no utensils or plates. Small fridge. Old rooms. Smelt musty / damp. Has good heater and a fan. Small old bathroom. Lots of parking outside room. 10 minute walk to town.$149 for the night. Bed comfortable.

The room was clean and warm. Could do with cereal bowls and cutlery but otherwise nothing to complain about.

Staying here for work average rooms bathrooms don’t have fan so If you go to the toilet or have a shower it’s not good… ordered tea at 7.15 and it didn’t get served until 8.55 no explanation as to there being a delay and ordered a blue steak and it was way overcooked not happy

This is a great place to stay. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Vicki, the owner leads by example! |All amenities are good and there is an excellent menu. I really enjoyed the salmon with vegetables. Thanks to the Silver Hills motel team for making my stay such a good one.
