Deer Valley Resort Utah Ski Trip Guide

"A popular on-mountain eatery where the resort’s signature turkey chili is a highlight (often served in a bread bowl), offering convenient mid-day refueling on the slopes and a social, sun-friendly scene at adjacent outdoor seating areas." - Lydia Mansel Lydia Mansel Lydia Mansel is a writer with more than eight years of experience editing and writing for both brands and online publications—with a particular focus on travel, fashion, and lifestyle. Hidden Chinese restaurant in San Mateo. Surprisingly the foods were delicious. Big portions. Prices are cheaper than other similar restaurants in the same neighborhood/ Chinatown. Spacious, friendly service. Would definitely come back again.

Welcoming experience where I felt right at home. Food was amazing. And the price was great value for the portions.

Best Chinese restaurant. If you have not been there, please go! My family and I love their food. Everything is soo delicious and it is good value for money. My favorite dishes are the sweet and sour pork/chicken, Westlake soup, and the fillet of rock cod with pepper salt. It's my go-to comfort food, and I want everyone to know about it! It's so good I also want to keep it my little secret, ha, so selfish of me. :) - no pictures, I would just drool all over them.

I think this is one of the cheapest chinese restaurants you can find in the peninsula area. I know the price has risen, but 3 items for $30 is a bargain. It is run by a family. I have been here many times before the pandemic, but this is the first time I visited again after the pandemic. It hasn't changed since my last visit. Interior was the same. Service is ok as a regular restaurant. The food is good, and the portion is generous for $10. The food was read quickly. They have a combo of 3 itmes and four items if I am not mistaken and there are many item to choose from the menu. You got complimentary soup, which is ok. If you are in the area, you can give it a try.

Homie food that hits the spot. Lunch special 3 dishes and soup for $32, paid $48 after tax and tip. Rock cod in clay pot delicious, paired with fried pork ribs and green beans

Great traditional Cantonese food, solid portions, and a price that made me think I was back in the early 2000s. So. Cheap. The value for (the legitimately great) quality is unbeatable. Their fry chef is amazing, everything that was fried was perfectly done -- crisp on the outside while still tender and juicy inside. Note that their dishes are split across multiple menus -- for example the whole fried fish is only on their 4 dishes for $43 menu, and not on the full menu.

My partner and I initially wanted to eat a sushi place across the street but it was packed. I saw this restaurant on google, it was highly rated, and the food looked good. We walked up and the restaurant was packed with families big and small on a Thursday night—a good sign that the food is goooood. The menu offered the 3 entrees with soup for $30 or 4 entrees with soup for $43. We opted for the 4 entrees since the options were better and we can take leftovers home. The food came out fast, piping hot, and very delicious. Cantonese food is so freaking good. I recommend the rock cod, and beef and broccoli!! I will come here again to try other dishes. It’s affordable and delicious, big portions and a lot of people do take out. Update— A few months have passed and I was craving canto food again. Came on a Thursday night. Packed and the place was understaffed with one man doing the role of 3 ppl. So many door dashers were waiting for their orders as well. We opted for the 4 choice for $43 combo again. We got the rock cod filet salt and pepper, clams with black bean sauce, filet beef with black bean sauce, and sticky rice with Chinese sausage. Every single dish was so good! We always like the food here and feel so satisfied with it. We had plenty to take home. They are understaffed, so be patient, be kind. The food is worth it!
