Tucked in the heart of downtown Reno just steps from the scenic Riverwalk, Silver Peak Grill and Taproom is more than just a place to eat—it’s a full-on experience. Surrounded by local favorites like Reno Axe, the Reno Visitors Center, and countless other spots worth exploring, this neighborhood hangout is the perfect stop to fuel up while enjoying everything the city has to offer. We grabbed a table outside on the patio, soaking up a warm Reno evening with great people-watching and a view of the city’s downtown charm. From the moment we sat down, the service was on point—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The drinks? Spot-on. Whether you’re into crisp local brews or craft cocktails, Silver Peak knows how to pour a good time. Each sip hit just right and paired beautifully with the relaxed atmosphere. And the food? Delicious. Creative twists on pub-style favorites, hearty plates, and satisfying flavors that show they take pride in what’s coming out of the kitchen. Whether you’re there for a quick bite, a casual dinner, or just to kick back and feel the downtown vibes with a drink after exploring, the menu delivers. Silver Peak Grill and Taproom is the kind of place that captures the spirit of Reno—local flavor, laid-back vibes, and a welcoming energy that makes you want to stay awhile. If you’re visiting the area or even if you’re a local looking for your new favorite patio spot, this is a must-visit. Come hungry, stay for the drinks, and leave already planning your next visit!

We're traveling into town from Utah and we wanted to try this restaurant. We came in with our infant who is pretty chill and the service was amazing! Our waitress was kind, quick, attentive and helpful. Every dish was well seasoned, delicious, and fresh. I'm generally very picky about my seafood pastas and the seafood Alfredo was extremely well done! Very impressed. The atmosphere was inviting and laid back. When we visit again soon we will definitely make sure to keep Silver Peak on our list of places to eat at again.

Silver Peak! I love there food, more less there drinks. Let's talk about Drag Brunch Sundays, twice a month! Love them! Love to come support my Drag Queens. Absolutely an amazing time! Yes, these are private events, SO PLEASE DONT STOP BY ON A DRAG SUNDAY, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT OR HAVE YOUR OWN OPINION ABOUT DRAG! We come to see them perform and too have a great time. Love my Drag queens.! Thank you Silver Peak for supporting them!

I really enjoy Silver Peak and have never had any issues here with all the years I've been a patron. After floating the Truckee River today, we were starving and decided to have lunch before heading home. Because it was a beautiful day, we chose patio seating and shared some video to give you an idea. Our server was friendly and attentive even though he was double sat. I ordered the Salmon Fish & Chips and was not disappointed. It arrived with 3 decent sized pieces and shoe string like fries that have good season to them. The salmon was nice, hot, and juicy and the breading was crisp and airy, yet not overly crunchy or too much breading. I hope my pic captured that. My two friends ordered the Turkey Wrap and the Rueben Sandwich. Both said it was very good and that they'd order it again. My friend shared her fruit with me and it was all so good and ripe. It's worth nothing, there's a handicapped accessible ramp to the front entrance and the women's bathroom has 2 stalls, one being handicapped accessible.

Google
Love this spot for lunch or dinner and the drag brunches on Sundays on various weekends. amazing service, great food had the messy queen cheese burger and fries. Paired with a spicy margarita. The events put on at this establishment all have guidelines that are followed. Anyone who has to bash the restaurant or owner or anyone at the event is a bad judge of character. Can’t just give someone a one star review because you’re a Karen and mad that the restaurant was closed for a private event. Ignore the hatred and promote love and community.

Love This Place – Always a Great Time! Silver Peak & Tap Room is my go-to spot in Reno—awesome food, tasty drinks, and super friendly service. Every visit is a win! This time, I brought a buddy along, and we both walked out happy and full. He went for the Phatty Patty Burger with fries and devoured every bite. I finally got to try their pizza with capicola, salami, and pepperoni, and oh man… it was SO good! Perfectly crispy crust and packed with flavor. Seriously, if you’re in Reno, don’t miss this place. Great eats, cool vibes, and always a good time. 10/10 recommend! 🍔🍕🍻

Google
Fantastic Spot in Reno, A Must-Visit! I always make it a point to stop by Silver Peak & Tap Room when I'm in Reno their food and drinks are consistently excellent, and the service never disappoints. This time, I brought a friend, and we both left completely satisfied. He ordered the Phatty Patty Burger with fries and loved every bite, while I finally tried the Pizza (loaded with Capicola, salami and pepperoni), and it was absolutely BOMB. The flavors were spot-on, and the crust was perfect. If you're in town, this place is a must visit great food, great vibes, and always a solid experience. Can't recommend it enough!

Google
We were pleasantly surprised with our food. I ordered the Cobb salad and my husband the grilled chicken sandwich. The salad was fresh and delicious with a great dressing. My husband loved his sandwich and fries. Definitely a restaurant we would visit often if we lived locally.

Yelp
The best turkey wrap I've ever had. I go back just for this wrap. It's that good! The flavor, the texture, and the fruit. Chef's kiss for sure! The restaurant gets pretty and has seating inside and out. There is typically a wait depending on the time of day or if there is an event nearby. There isn't direct parking, but it is connected to the 1st street parking garage where they validate, so that's always a plus.

Wesley O.

Yelp
The fries are the perfect size and the ranch is the perfect consistency. Sandwich was good too, but not the standout when compared to the fries and ranch.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't reviewed Silver peak previously, I've been coming to this location for 20+ years! Silver Peak has had quite a rollercoaster of history from it's days on Wonder st. to opening this location on First and Sierra. Lot's of ownership changes and quality ups and downs. All that aside, my last few visits to Silver Peak have been great, and I'm surprised that they still have much of the original menu with some slight changes. My latest visit was Sat Night Dinner after a UNR basketball game. It was a little late but I was happy to find they were still open and serving food. They have a great selection of draft beers, still miss some of the original brewed beers here but happy to find they have Parlay 6 on tap. I ordered a classic Brewer's Burger with fries, it's exactly what you want out of a burger and for the price one of the better burger deals downtown. My wife ordered the Grilled 5 Cheese Sandwich with a side salad which was also prepared well and looked delicious. Service and food were prompt, very pleased overall with our meal and walked out feeling relieved to have a nice dinner out without our bill being over $50, seems rare these days. I will continue to be a Silver peak regular, I'm happy they've improved over the last few years (with the food from my perspective) and the location can't be beat, especially in the warmer months when you can sit on the patio and enjoy the sites and sounds of downtown!

Yelp
The place was clean the bar was amazing and i actually haf some chard on my burger when i asked for it well done. That was unexpected and i loved it!! My food and drinks were amazing and staff was very nice.

Karen D.

Yelp
Came here for trivia night with some friends, was surprised at the full bar spread and appetizer options. Everything tasted amazing and the cocktail didn't look like it was just thrown together..I was impressed! Inside it is like a sports bar, and the servers were amazing and attentive.

Edgar Z.

Yelp
This day I came in for business and was greeted kindly by staff. They showed us the way to the private room and i was able to order fairly quickly since we arrived shortly after they opened. I ordered the Braised short rib poutine which was plenty for leftovers. I really like the cheese curds and the tenderness of the meat, the fries were thin and saltier than I care for. A coworker had one of their burgers and fries, she was all smiles and just about cleared the plate. Another had the fish tacos and they said it was one of their favorites at silver peak. If you park in the parking garage be sure to bring your ticket with you to get it validated

Xtina D.

Yelp
Came here for lunch to enjoy this gorgeous perfect weather out on the patio. Couldn't decide between the salmon blt (sounds interesting!) and the Cobb salad but decided on the salad w Ranch instead of the lemon vinaigrette. It was delicious and I practically licked the plate. Service was great and fast, and they validated our parking.

Yelp
Went to the Silver Peak with my mom, my friend and her Mom for a Drag Brunch- The Twampson's A Drag Brunch Before Christmas. It's always a treat full of good food, drinks, laughs and one of the best Drag Shows. I love how the brunch menu is specific to the event. I ordered a single mimosa which was perfect and the breakfast sampler which was perfect, the eggs cooked perfectly, the bacon crispy just like I love and the potatoes were perfect. My mom ordered the breakfast burrito (minus the spice) and I enjoyed my sample of that (mental note for next time). I can never say enough good things I feel about the Twampsons and the other queens and entertainers, they are so welcoming, since my mom and I frequent the show as much as we can they know us which is very endearing. I'm excited for what other themes are to come, this event was so big that it went into the back room (which I had never experienced in all of the times that I have come to a show). Definitely a Sunday Funday. Our waiter, was manning the whole restaurant like superman which I was super impressed by and they were slinging the drinks especially the bottomless mimosas. I appreciated the attentive service and delicious food!

Yelp
OK, well here's the thing I have not been to the silver peak in Reno recently however, the family and I were traveling through Winnemucca and trying to find a place to eat when we found the Silver Peak in Winnemucca. I was so excited because I have always loved the Reno location specifically the chicken, black bean nachos. I noticed on the menu at the Winnemucca location, they had refried beans so I nicely asked the lovely gal if they could sub black beans and they no longer had them I felt cheated. I just thought to myself well I will definitely have to go and get the nachos at the usual Reno location when I went onto the website I was saddened to see that they also had switched to refried beans. I'm reluctant to go back, but if I do, I will give the nachos a try and see if they are as good as the original.

Kelly S.

Yelp
Lunch with my friend last week at Silver Peak, we both decided on patio dining (always a battle)! Had a great time catching up and having great food! Yes to potstickers, Philly cheese and of course my favorite Silver Peak Burger! Also, their Tiramisu is amazing! Great quick service!

Chris S.

Yelp
Silver Peak has been around in one way or another for nearly as long as I can remember. They did craft bear before the craft bear scene really cracked open in Reno. Though they don't brew anymore and have changed hands so it's not quite the same as the OG. The service was solid. Servers were quick and frequently checked in so legit there. The dining room and bar is clean and pretty chill. I love that it is decked out in windows. The let down the past couple visits has been the food. Not particularly bad but nothing I've had recently has brought anything special to the plate. It was food nothing bad but not memorable.

Laura C.

Yelp
I heard Silver Peak was under new management since I had last been in. Some friends and I went in last night for a celebration. We had called in for a reservation and were easily accommodated. We ended up needing an extra setting for another who joined us and that was easy for them to make happen. Our server was excellent. He didn't get annoyed with our requests and was very polite. I was underwhelmed with the kitchen service. We all had ordered one of three meals; the 9-spice wings, poutine, and nachos. The wings came out about 7 minutes before the rest of the food. Being that we wanted to wait for everyone to have their meal, this felt like forever. The poutine was good, I liked the curds and the gravy. The nachos had refried beans instead of the black beans that were there before; I was told it was good but the beans were so-so. I'm very sad to report, the wings were a let down. The spice mixture is a far cry from what it was and it didn't cover the wings. It tasted more sweet and I felt like, 'Where'd the spices go...?' Thankfully, the shoe string fried were as delicious as ever. The beer, service, and ambiance of Silver Peak make it special. This was an 'okay' experience. I figure I'll try back in a couple of months.

Ashley E.

Yelp
Ian was working last night + legitimately made our evening! He is so charismatic + truly embodies what "great service" is. He made my friend a yummy spicy margarita mocktail + was very attentive. Silver peak is always consistent with their food, but like I said - Ian made our evening! Go get a cocktail from him, you won't regret it.

Dewayne L.

Yelp
We've tried this place twice and the service was horrible both times. This last time we waited, a half hour and not one person even looked at us. We will never go back and we do not recommend this place.

R M.

Yelp
This place has been a Reno staple for a long time and it's a classic! Their food is good and reasonably priced and they always have great service! As a huge added bonus, and my favorite feature: they have an absolutely FABULOUS drag brunch with a free raffle there every other Sunday! The only downside is that they're so popular, you have to be sure to buy your tickets in advance because they almost always sell out! Be forewarned: the show is for 18+ only, so don't bring your small children! It's a great, fun way to spend your Sunday!

Crystal C.

Yelp
Everything came out so fast and fresh! My Silver Peak Burger burger was amazing and so juicy! The side salad was nice and fresh but the fried sweet potato chips on top tasted burnt. I highly recommend getting some friends come down catch a game on tv take some shots and order some delicious food. Our server was knowledgeable and kind. He made sure we were taken care of always bringing us refills of water and drinks. The fries were crispy and hot. A full bar can be a help when they have happy hour 4 pm to 6 pm. I also had the potstickers as a appetizer they were very delicious. For desert we had a salted caramel brownie sundae. So good and I want more of those!

Emerald S.

Yelp
Honestly location is prime! This place is so close to all the gems of downtown. You can't beat this place in terms of proximity to other bars in the area. There's a nearby garage so you can park there, just make sure to get it validated so you can get 2 hours for free. Pro tip- you can ask for two stamps for a total of 4 hours. Just make sure you're good to your server! I popped in during a Sunday afternoon before dinner time and it wasn't busy at all. Our big group was able to be seated right away with no issues accommodating us. Because we were like the only ones in the restaurant, we had pretty good service. For food, I got the carne asada fries and yup, they were great! Silver peak has skinnier fries so mentally prepare yourself for that, just in case you were expecting large/thick cut fries. The toppings weren't overwhelming and didn't cause the fries to be soggy.

Sarah M.

Yelp
The pours are generous, the service is well but the food could use some flavor and warmth. Only been once and on the fence as to whether it's somewhere I'd return. Half of our table sent food back, most of the food that stayed came out lukewarm or almost aged (not fresh).

Kaci F.

Yelp
I come here often when I'm downtown. Last night was my most recent visit. The grilled cheese is great, the steak salad is one of my favorites. The food is always good and of course they have a huge selection of their own beers. If you are a wine drinker, the options are very sparse. In the warmer months, sitting on the patio is always nice.

Tracy B.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been to Silver Peak but their grilled cheese has no comparison out there. The melty cheese, warm tomato and avocado, and grilled bread - oof. So so good. Paired with the beet salad - again, it just cannot be beat. Solid kids menu options as well. The staff was very friendly and accommodated our group of 8 well.

Candace I.

Yelp
So this place was clean and had a decent dining area. The service was ok. Our server was friendly but maybe newish. He recommended the salmon fish and chips and a chicken sandwich. We got both with the enchiladas and kids hamburger. The food was just not good, like not just not good, but I didn't eat most of it, not good. We had decent hopes at first glance. It didn't look too bad. Unfortunately, everything was either overcooked or lacked any real seasoning. It was early on a Friday night when we went and it wasn't busy.

Cat E.

Yelp
The service was absolutely awful. We went on a Sunday evening and waited 20 minutes to even get our drink order in and then another 20 of staring at the drinks sitting on the bar before they were brought to us. Now at 40 minutes when we got our drinks we finally put in our food order. It wasn't even busy, maybe 5 tables total in the whole place. Food tasted good like silver peak food always does but we won't be back for a while.

Heliodoro S.

Yelp
Service was fast food was pretty good great prices on drinks at the bar if I was in Reno I'd go back

Kingston W.

Yelp
"Silver Peak Grill & Taproom" is a restaurant with a full bar. It's located in Reno's downtown. Based on the menu items and corresponding prices, I would describe the place as a diner. There are televisions on site, but number of screens is too few, and the screen sizes are too small, for me to consider this place a sport bar. And yet, the place has trivia nights and hosts performances. The menu has a lot of pub grub type food--but the items we had were tasty. I tried the salmon fish and chips, and the others in my group tried the burgers. A lot of the other restaurants close by carry a higher price point, so this place might meet the needs of some casual diners. A quick note, management has hired some very nice young adults. The greeter at the door, our waiter and food runner were all very polite and provided good service.

shannon c.

Yelp
Love, love, love Drag Brunch with the Twampsons! These Queens are amazing entertainers! If you're looking for a raunchy, raucusly hilarious good time it's a must see. I have been several times with different family members and friends and not a one has been disappointed. Also, bottomless mimosas are truly bottomless and delicious!

Christiane W.

Yelp
An oldie, but goodie. I've been coming here for years and it's perfectly located downtown. It's got that sports bar laid back vibe, but always a good time. They have a great patio area, good for people watching too. You can usually catch some kind of action with all of the foot traffic in the area. They have a great draft beer selection. Awesome happy hour menu from 4pm-6pm, M-F. An underrated brunch spot. They offer a fantastic brunch menu and bottomless mimosas! The service is hit or miss. This time around, it was very mediocre. Our server was slow and not very friendly. On the flip side, the food is always good. Their shoestring fries are the best, a usual go to. I tried the Braised Short Rib Poutine and it was fire! It's big enough to share or plenty big for your entree. Everything about this dish is delicious. The short rib was perfectly cooked and the Demi glaze was so flavorful. The cheese curds were some of the best I've ever had. And then of course all on top of a nice pile of shoestring fries. The Salmon Fish & Chips are a must try. The Salmon is beer battered, so it has that perfect crunch to it. This is one of their signature dishes and it's the best. It's one of my favorite things to eat here. My husband always gets the Barley Crusted Chicken Sandwich. He loves it. The sandwich is big and full of toppings. The chicken is crispy on the outside, but tender on the inside. You cannot go wrong with this sandwich. Bathrooms are clean. If you're lucky you can find street parking, if not, park in the parking garage directly above the restaurant and be sure to ask your server to validate your parking before you leave.

Allyson L.

Yelp
Friendly staff. Pretty quiet early in the night. Food portions are pretty big. You might get another meal out of your dish. I ordered the pesto tortellini and it comes with grilled chicken. I was really hungry and was actually able to finish it all. If food is good, I can eat a lot. The chicken was a bit crispy and wasn't dry. The tortellinis were pretty soft, but still had a good chew and a good cheese flavor. I'd come back here and maybe try some of their other dishes.

Kimberly C.

Yelp
We stopped by this cute and casual restaurant for a quick lunch before headed back to the airport. Our waiter was delightful and has worked there forever. He gave us a detailed history of the restaurant and steered us all in the right direction for our tastes. Everything was delicious!! We had some potstickers for an appetizer and a variety of meals. The southwest chicken wrap and wings were crowd favorites. The braised short rib poutine was rich and hearty, but sooo flavorful. I highly recommend the huckleberry lemonade (adult version). So refreshing!! We will be back again! We

Kyle G.

Yelp
We were greeted by a hostess just before we walked in. We decided to sit outside because it was a nice day, and there was lots of activity on the block. Our server, Alexis, came over shortly after we sat down, and she was friendly, fun, and welcoming. I had a few questions about local beers on tap, and she did a great job steering me in the correct direction. We had fish and chips (salmon) and three cheese ravioli. Everything turned out great. However, I think Alexis made it much more fun since she took great care of us.

Miguel O.

Yelp
We held a Reventón and had dinner before the restaurant-bar became a dancing place ... and the food was delicious as well as the party that we had after wards .. we all dressed up and sang, dance our hearts out .. Great place to come and have a drink and have a quiet and fun conversation as well .. all in 1 place

Crystal O.

Yelp
Beautiful day on the patio! Loved their happy hour from 3-6pm. Every.single.day.of.the.week. Amazing. Got their 1/2 order of nachos and it was more than enough. Currently the bomb beer on tap is the honey blonde. Service was great!

Aleigh B.

Yelp
Went to silver peak with a Fowler for lunch and since this place was right by our office we figured we'd try it out and it was great! We got to eat outside wherever we wanted and the service was quick since it wasn't very busy even though it was lunch time. I asked for water and they put it in a fancy glass with lemons which I appreciated very much. I got the five cheese sandwich and salad and my friend got the pesto pasta. She said the pasta was amazing and the chicken was juicy and tender. My sandwich was tasty but the salad was my favorite. I would go just for the salad. I love beets so the beet chips on top were tasty and the dressing is so good! We were even able to get our parking ticket validated!

Steve M.

Yelp
Great food. Service was good. We loved sitting outside in the evening during the summer. They accommodated our party of eight without hesitation and took very good care of us.

Koby M.

Yelp
Had a date night with my girlfriend and decided to come here for dinner. I wish I would've chosen elsewhere. A Saturday afternoon before the dinner rush. Drinks took longer than our appetizer. The food was subpar. The seafood Alfredo was so spicy we could barely have more than two bites. When we asked our waiter about it they were not very helpful. Service was not adequate, drinks took far too long, and the food was not nearly up to our expectations. Will not be returning.

Tabitha M.

Yelp
Silver peak has always been a Reno staple for me. I love the food here. Our server was also fantastic when I stopped here for lunch with my family while touring downtown. If you've never had the nachos, they are the best! Even the half order is a large portion. Also a favorite of mine is the grilled cheese, with the beet chip salad! I don't think silver peak has ever let me down. Parking in garage is validation for 2 hours, so it's free also.

Joe M.

Yelp
The fajita quesadilla special was excellent and so is the calamari. Service was excellent. Restaurant is in the river district. You can eat inside or outside. They don't validate for the parking structure by them.

Deanna L.

Yelp
Miguel was amazing. We had the Santa Fe chicken sandwich with shoexstring fries and side order of beer battered onion rings. Honestly, we haven't been here in probably ten years. After yesterday, we will definitely be back. They have a great beer selection on tap. The chicken was so juicy and the whole sandwich had great flavor. When the onion rings arrived as perfect circles, I worried as that indicates frozen not freshly made, but surprisingly, they were sweet and delicious. We sat at the bar and Miguel was so friendly and answered all of our questions. He even filled our 40 oz Stanley mugs with ice water, as we were headed out in the 105 degree heat to Wingfield Park for pride. Next time, I will get pictures of our food.

Emilio O.

Yelp
Decided to head here for a quick bite while in the riverwalk district area and was happy to get accommodated quickly in the beautiful sunny patio. I ordered the mushroom ravioli with garlic bread and it was very delicious and was a great portion! the service was quick and the waiters did come around often to make sure everything was to our liking. would come again

Natalia A.

Yelp
We like going to Silver peak when we want to enjoy a nice beer, great bar food and a football game! Our favorite dish are the black bean chicken nachos. They are perfection! Plenty of cheese, a nice mixture of black beans, chicken and condiments. We also tried the southwest chicken sandwich. The chicken was a little dry but the sandwich overall had great flavors and was a great choice! Definitely recommend this place!

Karen F.

Yelp
So, this was a tough lunch. It took FOREVER to get our drinks, and our food showed up before the actual drinks did. Turns out the day we were there they had a brand new bartender starting who didn't know what he was doing. Our waiter had to make the mojito and we are thankful he stepped up to accommodate our time here. The food was actually better than we thought it was going to be, but dis coke out like warm. I felt bad for our waiter because he was getting a lot of flack from others. I can't remember his name but he rocked. I doubt we will go back, because there are many other places to try still but I think they might have just had a really bad day the day we were there.

Linda H.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place out and the stars lined up for that opportunity this past holiday weekend. My son and I visited the Artown booths along the river at Wingfield Park and popped in for lunch. The restaurant was mildly busy, seating inside and out. Service was slow, but the server was very friendly. I had the steak salad and it was delicious. Steak was cooked just right and I paired it with a hard kombucha that took the heat off on this 90+ degree day. I like this restaurant. Nice place to sit outside, have a drink and take in the Reno crowd!

Kassandra M.

Yelp
Rude service from the older Latin lady bartender who never came back after she took my order to go she never smiled or gave a friendly impression. The next younger bartender who serviced me went to go check up on my food and give me my tab. I ordered my shot and beer while I waited for my togo food, when I received my check I noticed 5 extra (.50 cent) fee for my togo order including my drinks I had there. when I inquired about the ( TOGO) fees the bartender shrugged her shoulders and said the previous staff that I originally ordered with had added it and said thats what the establishment does for togo's order. The NEW employee that was on her 5th day quoted " I havent heard of a togo fee" which really puzzled me because that indicates that they targeted me and added extra fees for some reason. We didnt eat the food in fear of them messing with the food. Horrible service horrible consistency never going back. Hopefully when u go they like you and dont tack on extra fees whenever the staff FEELS like it.

Brianne H.

Yelp
Being a long time lover of this restaurant and its food well before they changed hands, today I stopped in for a burger and drink. There was nobody in the whole establishment on a Friday at 5pm. 2 years ago this place would have been full with a waitlist. I spoke briefly with the staff and they said they've been hiring and they are losing long time staff with most employees looking for new jobs. So sad. I hope they can turn it around! Food was still good and staff was very enjoyable to chat with otherwise.

Yelp
Wish I could figure out negative stars. Place is dirty dirty, Friend had calamari and the plate it came in was smeared with finger prints and other nasty. I had a grilled cheese which was maybe ok... but the fries tasted like fish. This place is disgusting and owners should consider repurposing into a vape shop... there is enough residue on the walls to make the transition easy.

Yelp
It's been about a year since we have been here but it didn't disappoint. Stopped In Saturday for lunch and had the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich on brioche bun with steak fries. Sandwich and fries were excellent and I tend to be picky. Nice thick slices of tomato and avocado. Chicken was moist and chipotle mayo just really topped it off. Steak fries were some of the best I have eaten. Nicely seasoned and hot. Server Ian greeted us warmly when we walked in and was very pleasant. Definitely won't wait so long to come back.

Yelp
The food and drinks here are tasty, the service is friendly and attentive, and the location is convenient and cute. Located on the first floor of the parking garage at 1st and Sierra, it's super convenient to eat here before or after a movie. (The theater is right across the street, and you can get your parking validated at Silver Peak and at the movie theater.) Anyway, you may already know about the prime location and validation info already. But you're hungry, right? And Silver Peak's food is always delicious. I'm hooked on the grilled 5 cheese (5 cheeses plus tomato and avocado is just melt-in-your-mouth goodness). This time I had it with sweet potato fries, instead of the normal salad, and it was super yummy. My friend had a tasty burger with amazing onion rings. Check out the pics. We've eaten here for years, and we'll continue to do so. Definitely recommend eating here if you're in the area.

Yelp
Stopped at Silver Peak for lunch after a movie today. We were SO DISAPPOINTED . Let me start by saying, it was not busy, and I have hospitality experience so I expect at least the basics. We waited about 10 minutes for our server to greet us, he brought water, didn't ask about other drinks..missed opportunity for an upsell but oh well. We were ready to order, so we did. My MIL ordered the Asian salad and a placed a to go order simultaneously. I ordered the carnitas tacos no tomato or salsa (allergies.) Her salad had a bunch of weird chips on top, not sure if they were meant to be wonton? They looked more like tortillas. Barely any dressing and we had to ask for silverware to eat, when we could find a server. To top it off, the runner tried to deliver the Togo food at the same time. It had been plated not boxed and sadly did not look tasty either. As to my "carnitas" tacos, I know this is not a Mexican restaurant. However, Carnitas should have the common thread of a shredded pork at least, right? Not here, cubed dry something. Pork maybe, beef, perhaps. Dry, most definitely. Like choke on it dry. I ate 1/2 of one. All in all, we paid over $50 and left hungry. I was really looking forward to enjoying a nice meal at Silver Peak, I rarely indulge in a meal away from home these days. I won't be back.

Yelp
It has been a few years since I have eaten at Silver Peak so for New Year's Day we decided to enjoy a dinner out. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by the hostess and shown to our seats. We liked the way the hostess was so nice and smiling as she gave us our menu's and brought our water. The waitress was friendly and didn't rush us as we looked the menu over. Being that we do not eat meat we decided on the impossible burger with fries. After only a short wait our burgers arrived. I could not believe how big the burger was and could not wait to take a bite. I was in vegan burger heaven after only one bite. The burger was cooked just right without being dry or undercooked. It also came with vegan mayo and vegan cheese. It was so delicious I managed to eat every single bite. The fries were just ok, nothing to great so next time I will pay a little extra and get the sweet potato fries. The establishment seemed clean, and I enjoyed the energy around me. Everything about our dinner here was very enjoyable from the ease of parking in the garage right next door, the friendliness of the waitress, to the delicious food. I highly recommend this place if you are near the downtown area and just looking for a nice meal out. I am looking forward to having another impossible burger here soon.
