Silver Queen Gondola

Beautiful ride with great views and mountaintop activities. The gondola ride up to the mountaintop is very scenic, with beautiful views. It's accessible and pet-friendly, which makes it a great option for families and visitors of all kinds. Once at the top, there are activities for the whole family and a food court area. Food service ends at 3 PM, but after that you can still buy drinks and snacks. Outside, there’s a spacious deck with tables and lounge chairs where you can relax and enjoy the views. You need to purchase a ticket to go up. There were no clear signs for parking, we parked on the street and paid by the hour.

Beautiful ride to the top with stunning views at the summit! The gondola line was longer than expected though. Once you’re up there, enjoy the views and grab a drink at the Sundeck!

Totally enjoyed the views coming up and going down. Wonderful free nature trail hike guided by ACES naturalists. If you’re visiting for 3 or more days, get the gondola pass. Well worth it.

We went in August. Parking was a little difficult to find but the trip on the gondola was nice and they had a really good restaurant with views at the top. We spent a about $25 a piece on lunch there.

Visited Silver Queen Gondola in Aspen Colorado after 27 years and found the place even more beautiful! With all the new shopping stores and beautiful landscaping Aspen has lived up to its reputation of a world class destination and Silver Queen Gondola is the fantastic way to appreciate this unique natural beautiful town from up above!

My wife and I were able to go to Aspen for a few days relaxing until Christmas eve. I can't ski, just had my hip replaced after Christmas but we went up the gondola to have a nice lunch and just the atmosphere at the top, the energy of skiers and boarders everywhere, love it! It was just what I needed pre surgery! Great food and better scenery!

10/10 would do again, this was so fun. I don’t ski or snowboard, but my friend and I came up just for a ride and it was beautiful. I can’t wait to come back for the summer and ride the gondola again :)

The Silver Queen Gondola is one of the longest and coolest gondola rides in the United States. The views at the top are breathtaking. A three pack of rides can be purchased for 46 dollars, which is a bargain compared to what Vail charges for their gondola rides in the summer. Aspen is also much more pet friendly, which is a plus if you have a dog with you.
